When I arrived in Siem Reap I was ill, I messaged Mrs Soltheavy in advance to let her know and to ask if it would be ok to eat in my room, which she confirmed. When I arrived I found a tray laid out with ginger, a fresh lime, and salt for a mouthwash and gargle. I was ill for 3 days, during which time Mrs Soltheavy checked on me repeatedly to make sure I had everything I needed, and check on my progress, which was a real comfort.|Sam So's is a family run guesthouse, and for me as a seasoned traveller, the difference I experienced there was tangible, I was cared for, and I felt it. |I have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses, but this was the first time I was made to feel worth their time and effort. I cannot recommend Sam So's Guesthouse highly enough. If you are looking for a friendly caring environment, you will not find anywhere better. To say I am grateful, is an understatement.
