Sam So Guesthouse

Great location, in a quieter Siem Reap center Wat Bo. The owner is friendly and helpful, got all my tours and bus rides tickets + happy staff, speaks English. Clean room, comfy bed, slept well, very clean bathroom (that is important for me). I have room 319 next to the front balcony. Felt like I have my own place, super cozy! My friend got the back room, he likes a quiet room. Will come back again.

Really nice complaints. It is one of the best value for money places we have encountered in Cambodia, especially when considering the location. We had 2 mosquitos in our room when we got there, which we promptly obliterated. After that we did not have any issues with them. Rooms are simple, but comfortable and clean, with everything you need. They also refresh the towels every day. The breakfast is lovely, well prepared and delicious. The location is great. A 15 min walk to most things in Siem Reap town. You can hire mopeds or bikes to get to the temples. They organise yours and other activities as well, at very fair prices. The staff were perfect. Extremely attentive and helpful, we had no issues at all - no confusion, no miscommunication, nothing was late or wrong. They run a tight ship!

A simple hostel, but it really checks every box you could ask for.|Rooms are clean and comfortable, towels and water are refreshed every day.|The breakfast is simple, but very tasty and well presented.|The location is great, you can walk to most places within siemreap in less than 20 mins.|The best bit, though, are the staff. They are extremely attentive and helpful. We had no issues with anything, no miscommunications, nothing was late or wrong, nothing was missed. They really run a tight ship!

The sweetest front desk ladies were so helpful and welcoming. They set up a very last minute Angkor Wat tuk tuk tour for us and even let us check out 3 hours late since our flight was in the evening. As for the room, the bed was large and fairly comfortable, the shower had hot water, and the room had a fan and air conditioning - everything you’d need. We did not have the breakfast so I can’t speak on that. Overall a good value for your money.

Will absolutely make this my go to place to stay in Siem Reap! Everyone was so friendly, and the room was clean, spacious, and with great amenities, especially for the price!

Fantastic place with nice pleasant rooms for an affordable price. The host/owner saved our trip after having a bad experience with another hotel. We were able to book for a fair rate over the new year, she also connected us with a good tuk tuk driver who brought us to a sunset tour when nit a lot of people were driving due to the new year. Absolute life saver, if you stay here you can rely on their local connections and knowledge, transfer to bus station/Airport was also great too.

I really enjoyed my recent stay in Sam so Guesthouse. The rooms are rather large, clean and offer all things you need (hot shower, fridge, tv, good beds, AC and free WiFi.) ||The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful . And the breakfast in the morning was delicious for such a low price. ||Just a excellent guesthouse just outside the city center 25 min walk or 5 min tuktuk (2$). Perfect for your stay while exploring the Siem Riep and Angkor.

The KINDEST staff who accommodated my late check in and check out, assisted me booking tours, activities and transport. Simple but comfortable room with great air con and Wi-Fi. Close enough to walk to pub street, downtown, etc. but far enough to take a break from the action. I would definitely recommend!
