I recently traveled for the first time with my child, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most difficult experiences of my life.
When I booked for room, I clearly informed the reception that I was traveling with a child and would need access to baby-friendly food. I was told that the buffet would be accessible. However, after the booking was completed and plan to go and get some baby foods, I was informed that the buffet came at an additional cost. While I am more than willing to pay for extra services, the miscommunication was upsetting and caused unnecessary stress to my family during travel.
Being stuck at the Malaysia airport, it was not easy to find suitable food for my child. I politely asked if we could at least receive some fruit with cost, and eventually we were given just three pieces of watermelon — which, while appreciated that lady who gave to me, but did not meet our needs.
I kindly request that in the future, all information related to accessibility, especially regarding food for children, be communicated clearly at the time of booking. This will help families like mine plan better and avoid stressful situations during travel.
Thank you for taking this feedback seriously.
I want to add after your message but I couldn't in the same page. I think buffet price 75MYR is equal to 32 NZD. We are spending 7000 NZD for travel hope I can afford that 32 NZD, but I particularly asked that your team if I take room what are all the services including. She clearly mentioned that if I take the room I can access the below details like buffet, shower included in room and additional I couldn't remember. Hopefully going forward your team will clearly explain to the customer not particularly like me hopefully everyone.thanks.
