Sama-Sama Express Hotel KLIA Terminal 1 (Airside Transit Hotel)

The 3 hour stop over mid flight can be quite annoying but this little gem of a place was just what we needed before boarding our next flight. Cheap price for a shower and nice quiet comfy lounge while enjoying coffees and buffet breakfast. It's only a small place but there weren't many people there at all. Given the price of the other lounges this was by far the best value. Towels were given for private shower and we were able to charge our devices and relax while enjoying some food. Limited food options but we had already eaten on the plane and there was still more than enough for what wanted. Nothing beats a nice refreshing shower and a coffee after a 9hr overnight flight. Low cost per person for what you get, Couldn't have asked for more. They also have short stay rooms if you have a longer stay over and want a private bed and bathroom

Amazing, easy to get to location, upon entry staff extremely friendly and efficient with what they do! The rooms are extremely clean and neat upon entry and the bathroom was amazing🫡 water pressure on shower was great and provided toiletries. the stay is perfect for a those with a lay over or looking to get a rest in before other flights

Very happy with my decision to stay here while on a 7 hour layover between flights. The hotel is located further along one of the departure piers in the Satellite terminal. At first I thought there is no hotel in this direction, but eventually you will come to the entrance next to gate C5. The room was surprisingly spacious, though a little worn, but with a comfortable bed and views to the tarmac. The shower pressure was excellent. Amenities include coffee making equipment, slippers, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrush. Staff were very helpful in extending our stay due to a delay with our airline. Overall, this is an excellent hotel to have some rest and refresh while in a layover at KLIA.

Stayed here for a sleep and shower as our connecting flights were 12 hours apart. Lovely and welcoming, service was 10/10. Great shower, bed was a bit hard but still got a good sleep. Rooms just need a bit of love but you have everything you need for a comfortable rest. Would recommend.

Having stayed in the main Sama Sama hotel before, I was hoping that this one would be as good. Sadly, that was not the case.| I checked in without any problems at all. .The friendly receptionist asked me if I would like a wake-up call. I gave her the time that I would like the wake-up call. That never happened. I received an apology the next morning from her colleague, but that was all. As I was unable to sleep very much, I was already awake when I should have received this wake-up call.|Whilst the room was not particularly large, it is perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. They gave me plenty of pillows to choose from, and the bed was comfortable. |My main complaint is the fact that the walls are paper-thin. I could hear just about every noise possible during the night. Especially the sounds of what I presumed to be a cleaner in the next room at roughly four o'clock in the morning. The receptionist asked me if I wanted a quiet room. I shudder to think what a noisier room would be like. Being a hotel in an airport terminal, surely this should not be a problem.|For those who have no problems sleeping in a hotel room, this would be an ideal location to rest between flights. Especially as the hotel is already inside the terminal, so there are no hassles with airports security or immigration.

What do you do when you arrive in Kuala Lumpur and find your connecting flight doesn't exist? After endless attempts to find out what's going on, we found the Airside hotel. Best advice I was ever given re travel, if flights are stuffed, ( no weather issues, booking issue) stay airside. Clean, convenient hotel, buffet available. Highly recommend.

While the selection wasn't extensive, the quality of what was offered truly stood out. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. I especially enjoyed the freshly made omelette which were a delightful. Compliments to amiera & Anis from kitchen team for their dedication to providing such tasty and well-presented options. However, it was the service that truly elevated my experience. Every staff member I encountered was attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to assist. A special mention must go to Nageswsri & waheeda. Their warm smile and proactive approach made me feel instantly welcome. They efficiently handled my inquiries and ensured I had everything I needed. The front office team also deserves recognition. Amirah was incredibly helpful during the check-in to lounge process, making it seamless and stress-free. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor set a positive tone for my lounge visit. Finally, I'd like to commend the Lounge Manager, Ruby. The smooth operation and high standard of service are clearly a reflection of her excellent leadership. She was visible and engaged, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment for all guests. Overall, the Sama Sama Express Sky Suite Lounge in Terminal 1 offers a valuable experience for travelers. The combination of tasty food and truly exceptional service, particularly the outstanding contributions of Nageswsri, Waheeda, Amirah and the kitchen team, Amiera, Anis, and Manager Ruby, make it a lounge I would gladly revisit and recommended.

We arrived at the hotel as walk-in and were immediately accommodated with kindness and efficiency.
