Samán Hostel Medellín

I loved my stay at the Samàn hostel and will definitely come back!||- perfect location in the Poblado district (only 10-15 min walk to the metro)||- !unbelievable good and varied breakfast! ||- nice and clean bathrooms (with hot water :)||- Netflix and chill area ||- very easy to meet other travelers ||- super cute and happy hostel-dog ||||But the best thing were the owners who were super friendly and helpful! I immediately felt like home when entering the hostel. Thank you so much for the warm welcome!

I loved the time here, hosts are amazing, Diana made me and my friend feel like home, always there to help, chat and share stories, the best host ever! The place is really clean and comfortable, offers a great Paisa breakfast and it's just in the best location, between Lleras Park and Provenza, the places to go party and have a good meal! For sure I recommend it!

The best: Breakfast included. Very good breakfast. The location. Price-Quality. ||The bad part:A bathroom with bad smell but isn't big deal. Whatever way there are 3 bathrooms available.||||We stayed for 4 nights. The sector is nice, close to bars,good restaurants, pharmacy and supermarket. The hostel's people are very helpful and kind.||||If you are comparing options don't think twice the Saman Hostel is the best option!||||I recommend be careful in Lleras Park is a nice place and some time ago was better but currently is different during the nights. If you will look for a bar, ask for provenza area.||||El poblado is a safe area and we liked it.

Clean and quiet hostel, good breakfast and super friendly staff. They really go out of their way to make it as comfortable as possible and satisfy their customers. The location is in ever beautiful and green Poblado, walking distance to metro and some of the best bars & restaurants. Recommended!

My partner and I stayed at the Samán Hostel for our last week in Colombia - it was our favourite place we stayed. Dianna and Robyn, the two hostel hosts, were so welcoming. They were quick to help us with anything we needed. The hostel itself is clean and comfortable. There is a hammock in the back for relaxing and an open common area for socializing. The area of Pablado is fantastic as well. There are lots of bars, shops and good coffee! About a 15 minute walk to the metro station. We will be back!

I booked to stay for 1 night and ended up staying for 7, which says it all really. I was travelling on my own and met some great people there and the staff are beyond friendly and helpful. Everything is very personalised and they really make an effort to know your name and make you feel welcome, upon check in I was handed a juice and then the owner Alejandro sat a few of us down and have us a detailed introduction to the city, its history and where he advised we visit which was so appreciated. It's perfectly located, the free breakfast is huge, delicious and varies every day, beds are comfy and showers are warm so it really is amazing value.... Also there's a really cute dog there 🙌

Had a nice stay, extended 4 nights. Very familiar athmosphere and very easy to get in contact with new people. Dorms ar cozy, bathrooms always clean and espacious! Breakfast is made with love. The team is the best! Thanks to Juli, Diana and the Crew 😘

fantastic staff and great stay in Pablado area. Awesome breakfast in the morning with free coffee 24/7. great common area to socialize with people. I felt like home with the friendly staff there. the dormitory at the front could be noisy as is right next to the main road but apart from that I love everything else. plenty of food places nearby.
