Samantan Hotel

Sweet hotel in a wicked location! I love the style of the room. Polished concrete, very industrial with high ceilings. Nice huge window and great people watching walking on one of the main shopping streets. I extended two weeks shortly after arriving. Great value for the money, highly recommended!

Room with unique design but there’s no elevator (the building has 4 floors), very convenient location

This hotel is good location, close to restaurant and located in ninman area.Service is good and room is clean enough.I was happy to stay there.

This review is based on my personal experience and opinion only. My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and even creepy. I stayed for two nights in late August 2024. My room was on the 2nd floor, and the door lock was a traditional style, not automatic. The room was loft-style, which was okay and not too bad. But what was truly creepy was the bathroom—it was dark, damp, and smelled really musty. The shower curtain was so moldy that I barely wanted to breathe in there. The water in the bathroom had a strange smell, so I ended up washing my face with bottled water I bought myself. Taking a shower in that hotel bathroom was utterly disgusting. I swear I had to hold my breath frequently, and I didn’t even close the curtain. I kept the bathroom door open because I was afraid of mold getting into my lungs. I brushed my teeth outside the bathroom because I was so scared of the mold. It was terrible, beyond words! I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless the hotel renovates. The cost per night was 1,000 THB. At the very least, if it’s not going to be cozy or beautiful, it should at least be clean. Very bad! I will definitely not visit there again!.

spacious and superficially quite modern rooms but really worn down, e.g., loose electric sockets and not really warm water and as safe a box with a padlock; at least the aircon worked....|due to the location, you have the noise from bars&pubs (and all party-goers) until late night and of course the planes to and from the airport right overhead|...for a similar price you can find something better in the same neighbourhood

We had an amazing time at Samantan hotel in Chiang Mai! One of the staff is an artist and all of his art is hanging up everywhere in the hotel and it's really good. It gives the hotel a really cool vibe and design. They also have a small shop selling clothes and all sorts of things next door. |The room was really big with a large comfy bed and hot shower. There was a desk and even a small seating area too.|Breakfast was great and verg filling so make sure you try it when you stay here.|Location wise it can't get much better if you want to stay in Nimman and explore the area. Everything can be reached on foot in the area and if you do want to venture out, there is a scooter rental place right across the road.|When we come back to Chiang Mai we'll definitely stay here again and maybe even buy some of the art in the hotel.

Room size is quite big compared to the price that you paid. For design is gorgeous!!!! Breakfast is superb!!!! They make dish by dish. No car parking provided but you can use private car parking nearby 50thb for night Overall is recommended
