Samay Wasi Youth Hostels Cusco

Really good hostel and really good location in San Blas. Close to lots of shops bars and restaurants. AMAZING view over Cusco from the terrace. Staff are lovely especially James who was so helpful in sorting Sacred Valley tours and always so kind. Really helpful when we got sick too arranging Clinic visit. Spent two weeks here (gap in middle for Salkantay) in well kept and clean private room. Not the most social hostel but great if you want kitchen access and chill communal areas.

A gorgeous hostel! We are thoroughly enjoying our stay here. The room is clean and with a beautiful view. The breakfast is lovely and a huge bonus! What a lovely place

This was our first stop in a long trip and it proved a perfect welcome to South America.|We ended up staying a little longer than first expected and the hostel was very accommodating. James was a massive help with organising days out and giving advice. We also really enjoyed the breakfast.||The walk up the hill may wind you, but it's well worth it!

I was traveling trough Peru. Nice to have warm shower, clean room with individual bathroom and good breakfast for a low cost. Everybody was really nice. I swear it's a good place !

This hostel is bright and welcoming with very helpful staff and a lovely breakfast. Best of all they have a fantastic view of the city. I would certainly stay again

The loveliest hostel ever!! James made us feel at home and helped us organise our day trips!! Pepita and pepito also were lovely hosts! … and the views WOW!!! Also big thanks to all the staff for everything.

Very cute and friendly hostel. Senior James was very kind and helpful and made our stay a blast. We would recommend to anyone who would like a quieter stay in Cusco. The views from the balcony are great and it's close to the historic city and plenty of walkable streets. Great experience overall

Great place- super friendly staff. Amazing views over Cusco. Facilities include shared kitchen, great breakfast and tea available throughout the day. James sorted out Salkantay trek which was amazing- I believe they have other treks and tours available at great price. Thanks James and the rest of the staff at Samay Wasi
