Conchy Joe’s Bar & Grill

It’s nice to enjoy the simple island life. Really enjoyed their conch salad (Photo was take in March 2025). Enjoyed their cracked conch/shrimp basket. Seems like recently they had to reduce their menu due to staff changes which is unfortunate.

If you love fresh seafood, especially ceviche, then you would love the fresh Conch Salad here. It’s as fresh as it gets. The place is a hidden gem. The conch salad with extra goat pepper was so good, I had to get one to go! Oh and Mr Conchy Joe himself is a cool dude!

We had a great time here watching the Super Bowl. Chris was very welcoming and we enjoyed a good deal on tacos, beer, wings and shrimp. Fun spot for both people and dogs.

What a magical place. Conch salad. Fried fish. You can’t go wrong. We had conch at the resort and it does not compare to Sammy’s. It’s a nice mix of locals and visitors, you can expect friendly service and amazing food. It’s cash only so be prepared for that! While the setting and kitchen can be different than what you might see in America, don’t think twice about it and feel confident that Sammy’s is clean and safe.

We came from Indiana, we love fresh sea food. Found this cool spot! Had snapper the first night, then conch with rice the second night. We met the owner, very friendly guy! He even showed us how he got the conch open! Thanks for the hospitality and wonderful food!

A real island beach bar with real Bahamian food. We had a blast. Chris took great care of us!

Breathtaking ocean view and chill spot to have a meal and a few cold drinks. Very good customer service with a smile, delicious food and Bahamian cuisine options.

Soak in the sun, sand & sea at this great little R&B on the water. Sammy is very hospitable & knowledgeable of the local MUST SEES! Great food & good vibes!
