We have just had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff here are exceptional, so helpful and friendly. We had a double room with bathroom and air con (which we loved) . Room cleaned everyday. The grounds and pool are like a tropical paradise with tropical breakfast each morning. Thoroughly recommend.

Hotel Review||If you’re considering staying here, be prepared for very basic accommodation. The reality is much less appealing than the photos suggest, so keep your expectations low or have none at all.||The room we stayed in had a significant ant problem, which made the experience less comfortable. On a brighter note, the hotel does provide complimentary breakfast, which was enjoyable, especially since it’s served in a pleasant garden setting.||Overall, if you’re okay with a no-frills experience and can overlook the downsides, this place might work for you. Otherwise, you may want to explore other options.

Make sure when you're booking that you know if you are inside or outside in the traditional fales (which don't have locking doors, and have shared bathrooms/showers). It was confusing for both me and another guest I spoke to - the fales are cool at night, thankfully, and have a fan but bring your own lock for the safety box. It's relatively quiet, though wifi doesn't work great outside. The pool is quite warm since it doesn't get any shade from the sun. The breakfast staff and reception are very friendly.

Really enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Outrigger Hotel. Room was cleaned daily, breakfast was at the hotel every morning (costs a few tala) and was delicious, and hotel is located very conveniently. AC worked great in the room and kept our room very dry and cool. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. Highly recommend if you are staying in Samoa. We booked and paid online and just paid for breakfast with cash during checkout.

Fantastic accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and very cool from air-conditioning. Had fridge, TV, ensuite bathroom and veranda to sit out on. Comfortable bed. Lovely pool and friendly cat in the garden. Fabulous breakfast daily. Great staff all who spoke very good English. 24 hour reception, so someone is available to help or answer questions at all times. Beautifully decorated foyer and colourful gardens.||Many good restaurants locally to try, lots of supermarkets. Short walk to town where there is plenty to see and do.

Lovely place to stay. If traveling solo its not as social as a hostel, but has plenty of fellow solo travelers to meet in the kitchen or lobby areas and probably the most sociable you can get in Samoa.

We stayed here for 6 nights. Close to everything either by walking or a taxi. Comfortable rooms with aircon. The most relaxing, calming area by the pool was our favourite. The breakfast served was delicious, fresh and varied daily. Beautiful, helpful staff are an asset to this establishment. Would definitely stay and recommend. Cathy and Faye

I haven’t even checked in yet, and my experience with this hotel has already been terrible. I had the misfortune of dealing with a manager who was rude, combative, and completely unprofessional. Despite booking a room for two people (my husband and me), the manager insisted that I pay extra for a second guest, which was unnecessary and incorrect. Instead of resolving the issue calmly, the manager argued with me and showed zero respect for the situation. This kind of behavior from hotel staff is unacceptable, especially from someone in a management position. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a hotel and strongly advise others to reconsider staying here if you expect basic customer service. I will be pursuing this matter further, and I hope that this review warns others about the unprofessionalism I encountered.
