Sampan Ride

Quite fun with nice photo op at the Rain Vortex, the boatman stops to help you take photos on your phone. The souvenirs with the professional photo taken at the beginning are quite pricey but nice keepsakes. $30 for a magnet + keychain; $40 for a snowglobe; $85 for the whole bundle with other items. The boat ride is quite slow. Minimum height of 85cm to ride, so cannot bring babies.

The boat ride was a nice calm activity after a hot day of walking around sightseeing. The Christmas decorations were a beautiful touch for MBS

Sampan Ride inside Marina Bay Sands, and it was a charming little experience — felt like a mini Venice right inside a luxury mall! The gentle boat ride along the indoor canal, under the glass dome and around the Rain Oculus, was peaceful and relaxing. It’s more of a unique point of attraction than a thrill ride, but definitely something to try if you enjoy calm experiences and want a quick break from walking around the mall. The setting is elegant and perfect for a few photos too. Great for first-time visitors and families, especially if you’re exploring The Shoppes at MBS.

It was a very relaxing and fun experience. For one person it’s about 15 SGD. There are no kids prices (kinda pricy), and the boat can take up to 4-5 people. The staff there were really bubbly and friendly. Normally, you have to wait about 15 minutes, but there was no queue for us. Near the end of the journey there’s a massive waterfall which is great for those insta-worthy pics. Overall, great for families and friends who just want to hangout and chill and kill some extra time. But for me, I don’t think I’ll do it again just because of the price.

A very basic ride but it was given to me as a gift but not sure if I would pay for it. Make sure you know the time when the waterfall in the Center is operating as I’ve missed that. Perhaps should be more visible on the website.

Truly an enjoyable indoor sampan ride with my parents and sisters. Shout out to Adam and Afiah for going the extra mile to facilitate the booking for us when we were there yesterday. Despite the crowd, both of their effort are indeed commendable to accommodate our family of 6. Adam's enthusiasm in his job enhances the whole ride and we were all enjoying it so much that our applause and cheers at the end of the trip brought smiles and similar applause from those near the station. Thanks Adam and Afiah for showing such zeal and commitment in your jobs... it's truly an inspiration and you 2 are GEMS!!
