Samsara is a must stop if you are in the Goleta area. The staff is knowledgeable in more than just their wines but also the entire Santa Rita Hills viticulture. We felt welcomed immediately upon arrival. Julie was an excellent hostess and we even got to visit with the owner. High quality wine at very reasonable prices. If you’ve never liked a Chardonnay, please try theirs!

We had a wonderful elevated tasting through much of the portfolio. Great Chardonnays, Pinots and GSMs. A few surprises were the new Sparkling Brut, single vineyard Grenache and Mourvèdre and also feel in love with the special Pinot, Lotus. The staff is super friendly which is fitting for the tasting room atmosphere. Tristan was especially knowledgeable on the region and their specific wines. We also spent time with the owners Dave and Joan who are in the tasting room in Goleta frequently. They are very passionate about all wines, but also very familiar with the region and their production. We highly recommend a visit and tasting!

This place is amazing. Always treated like we are special when we come to visit. Dog friendly and great music on special occasions. I 10/10 recommend you attend one of their parties…especially the holiday one…super fun with great food!

The staff are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and extremely professional! We learn so much while we are enjoying tastings-and Goleta which is such a great town- has a lot to offer, a lot more than it did when I attended UCSB in the mid-70s! What can I say about the wines? Superior, exquisite, subtle (and simultaneously complex with character!) delicious and expertly crafted. Samsara wines are truly extraordinary as is the experience of tasting their wines!

We spent the day at this beautiful facility and were able view the production of the wines, which was going on at the time. The SAMsARA staff is really customer-focused, providing not only a California wine experience but also wine education experience. If you are anywhere near the Santa Barbara vicinity with an interest in wine in general and Santa Rita Hills AVA wines in particular, don't miss a visit to SAMsARA!
