Samsung Hotel Geoje

Best place to stay if you are working at Samsung Shipyard. Its easy to get to. Its walking distance from the shipyard main gate and also few restaurants. The hotel lobby is huge and gives a very good feeling when one enters the hotel. I was put up in the old building so I dont know what the new building and rooms looks like. But the rooms where i stayed were good and spacious. They had a small couch and a working desk which is very important for me. The beds were comfortable. The rooms seemed quiet with not much outside noise coming jn. There is also an iron that one can ask for. The mini bar is free apparently which is think is a first for me. The breakfast is pretty basic with little variety but then no complains as we are in Geoje. The hotel has currency exchange facility with decent rates. All in all, a very good hotel to stay if u r in Geoje.

Excellent hotel. Convenient location for business meetings. Samsung does things right.|Nice, spacious rooms with modern features. |The breakfast selection is outstanding with Western and Eastern choice, all of the highest quality (the croissants are really really good, for example).|The gym is large and well equipped (mostly Technogym).|Also, I had the opportunity to enjoy a lunch prepared by the hotel’s chef for an event and the food was amazing!

This hotel is the bomb!! It’s new, clean, huge. Rooms were very comfy and spacious. Gym is huge too. Sad that only stayed 2 nights, but definitely the best hotel in geoje!!

The bigger rooms in building 2 are newer, but the standard room I got another time in B1 was fine too, good maintenance and clean. In walking distance are few restaurants. To my surprise, drinks in minibar are free, even there is a price list on the fridge. Reception staff told us at check-in.

It's a Business focused hotel, built with the main purpose of hosting Samsung Yards Guests, and events!

The rooms are nice, they offer family rooms too. I was unimpressed with the morning buffet, most of the food was bland or overcooked. The coffee was super bitter and unpleasant to drink. The restaurant for dinner is nicer, one night I had the phat Thai and the other night I had the beef bulgogi - both were excellent and not overly sweet, I wish the banchan had more veggie and less fish but that’s a personal preference. All of the staff was wonderful. Our room didn’t have much hot water but not sure if it is because of them trying to conserve energy or there was an actual issue but it’s so hot and humid I don’t mind at this time.

Samsung Hotel is great if coming for Samsung Shipyard project. Clean and close to Shipyard. Standard Hotel with restaurant and bar lounge. Room are large and comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to assist you with any needs. They are the best part of this hotel. It's about a 20 minute walk into the town where there are many restaurants and pubs. This hotel claims to be 4 star. Not like any 4 star visited in the past. Customer service is lacking. These folks are driven by corporate rules, not serving customers. Too bad. The place has potential.
