We recently paid $700 for what we hoped would be a relaxing family trip, but our experience was anything but. We were assigned a room accessible only by a fire escape (high, and metal, outside), which made it unsafe for our newborn, elderly family members, and two small dogs. Carrying a stroller and assisting everyone up an emergency exit was very dangerous.
When we expressed our concerns, Joanna at the front desk dismissed us, and was very rude and condescending, without any acknowledgment of our worries. Despite the unsafe access, they refused to issue a refund. Despite it being impossible to use the room in a safe manner, they refused to issue a refund. The rest of the stay felt terrible and unwelcoming.
Response to owner: I disagree. Your photos are misleading. Your staff was incredibly rude. A refund was the only reasonable solution and that still would have been a big disappointment. The lady on the desk was incredibly rude. She passed on a number of rude sentiments from you as well through the phone. We were trapped and forced to stay at your hotel or eat $700+. It was a terrible stay and I continue to welcome a refund.
