We absolutely loved our dinner at Samui Thai! The peaceful setting, attentive service, and delicious food made for a perfect evening. Every dish we tried—the Papaya Salad, Wok Basil, and Shrimp Red Curry—was an excellent choice.

The food was really good and a perfect change up to all the gallo pinto we’d be eating! We got to see the gorgeous sunset and scarlet macaws right on the patio! We got the basil dish with ground chicken and it was so amazing. We got the papaya salad and the pad Thai as well, both really good flavor but both were a little sweeter than I’m used to just a heads up!

Had some good meals here. One of the best restaurant around this Neighbourhood. As I lived in Thailand for couple of years, I am very picky about Thai foods outside Thailand but they got some good dishes… green curry, steam mussels, satay … but I won’t recommend the pad Thai and pineapple fried rice.

After a long day at the beach, my friends and I stopped by Samui Thai, and it was the perfect spot to unwind. The atmosphere was a vibe—relaxed, welcoming, and surrounded by nature. The Thai tea was absolutely delicious, and the Basil Wok with chicken was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The servers were incredibly kind, attentive, and bilingual, making the experience even better. If you’re in Manuel Antonio and craving authentic Thai food, this place is a must-visit!

After our trip to national forest, we stopped here to enjoy the sunset while having dinner. Though we were a bit disappointed at not seeing much water, the sunset and related colors spectacular and reflected our mood with the food. We ordered cosmo drink, a noodle (Pad Kee Mao Noodle with Shrimp) dish and a rice dish (Samui Pineapple Fried Rice Shrimp). We asked for ‘Extra’ spicy which is one level below ‘Thai’ spicy. When we tasted the food, it was just correct amount of spicy for us. The fried rice was served in a half cut shell of pine apple! We never saw this before. After eating the rice, we still cut some more pine apple off the shell. The noodle dish was spiced just perfect. We topped it off with delicious fried ice cream per waitress’s suggestion. A good way to finish our last dinner in Costa Rica!

Great spot conveniently located right along the main drive to Manuel Antonio, it was perfect for a quick stop. Though parking was tricky as there's no designated area. The service was warm and friendly, and the food came out surprisingly fast. We tried the Tow Hoo Tod (golden fried tofu with sweet chili sauce), which wasn't our favorite, there are definitely better options on the menu. On the flip side, the shrimp Pad Thai was fantastic - fresh and flavorful. Overall, a solid choice for Thai cuisine in the area. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something different while in Manuel Antonio!
