I recently stayed at Samui Verticolor Hotel, and while the location and some facilities were decent, my overall experience was mixed. The room itself was average — no balcony, which is a major downside if you need to dry wet clothes (which is quite common on an island trip). The room only had a small window facing directly towards the outdoor AC unit, which means hot air constantly blows in if you open it — not ideal at all. A major inconvenience was the layout of the hotel — connected buildings, but some sections don’t have elevators. So if you’re staying in those, prepare to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs, which can be quite exhausting, especially after a long trip. One of the most unpleasant issues was the smell from the washroom. Without proper air ventilation when you leave the room, the odor builds up. We had to turn on the AC and the washroom ventilator fan every time we entered just to gradually clear out the smell. At night, we kept the ventilator running to prevent the odor from spreading — definitely not what you expect from a hotel experience. On the positive side, room service was good, and the in-room dining menu was actually quite tasty, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast options were limited, but covered the basics with a few continental dishes — enough to get your day started. The pool area was relaxing, and parking was convenient, which are plus points for guests with scooters or rental cars. During my stay, I also noticed a concentration of guests from a israel who tended to dominate shared spaces and created an environment that some travelers might find uncomfortable. While the hotel can’t control who books rooms, I would recommend the management ensure all guests are respectful of others to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for everyone because israel is a child killing refuge group of people called themselves a country and kill innocent child and a terrorist group of rapist and killers. If you’re planning to stay here, be aware of the building setup, room ventilation issues, and lack of balcony. It’s not the best value for a long stay, but if you’re just in for a quick stop with minimal expectations, it may be manageable.

I am unsure how there are positive reviews for this hotel. The pictures of the room on booking are totally misleading and outdated. I stayed here for a couple weeks as I was training Muay Thai. The room was already a bit dirty when I first got there but it was doable. During my stay it obviously got more dirty, which is normal, but as there was housekeeping everyday I thought they would clean it and it would be fine. However, housekeeping doesn’t clean anything! All they do is make the bed and give new towels. The floor gets dirty and don’t even get me started on the bathroom! The showers are disgusting I can’t believe you let your guests shower in such a dirty bathroom! I didn’t feel clean once. Also the bedsheets have so many stains on them that make you not even want to sleep in the bed. I asked people at reception twice for my room to be properly cleaned and they said yes but it never happened! The pool also is not cleaned enough and there are other hotel guests that are loud and dirty which the staff doesn’t do anything about. The hotel definitely needs to be updated. I saw a poster outside saying it had a re-opening in 2021, well it needs another re-opening because this hotel is not worth the money at all.

When I first booked the hotel, I didn't expect it to be anything exciting because it was cheap. Well, it's the complete opposite. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was super clean, very comfy bed, high pressure shower, cleaned daily with free water. The pool area was amazing, really clean, comfortable sunbeds, great pool, food was nice from the pool bar and the cocktails were very good too, and even had a happy hour. We liked Pop at the pool bar, he was funny and polite. The location is a little bit out from the night life which for me was great, it's not too in your face if you didn't want to go out. The beach was a 2 minute walk. There was a really good self serv launderette outside and a 24hour super market which was way cheaper than 7/11. Would 1000% return, I was actually sad to leave. Thanks so much for a great stay!!

We loved our stay here! our room was clean and tidy, cleaned every day. The hotel lobby was always clean and looked lovely. we loveddd the pool and is so handy having a pool bar there too! it was always peaceful by the pool with nice music too. Great value for money, 15/20 min walk to the main area. staff were all super lovely and helpful! would defo return and recommend:)

The one thing I liked most about it is near to 24 hrs cheap which is very cheap and the staff is friendly the pool is also very good. There were a few 🦎 lizards in the room which I am afraid of but overall it was good. And one more thing the place is not quite which can also be loud at times especially when you’re sleeping 💤 usually early in the morning and before noon.

We came back and enjoyed the hotel yet again, clean rooms, good location, nice pool area, fantastic front desk staff and friendly pool staff, must admit too many names to remember but ALL did a great job! I’ll be back. |All amenities nearby shops, laundry and great massage location nearby.

Friendly staff, big pool, great location near city and beach. Had a great time, rooms are clean and big with a little balcong. Cute colorful design in the hotel. The aircon brokev3 times but I got a new room so they fixed it fast. Will come again!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything was perfect. Big room, comfy bed, cooling AC, everything clean. The staff in the hotel is really friendly and helpful.
