Samye Monastery

A Tibetan Treasure indeed. One could easily spend a few days here. Our tour had only one day here but my heart definitely longed for more. Hep ori is just a short hike too and should not be missed

A beautiful monastery with many stunning architects. Well worth the visit.

An impressive site to visit with a well maintained monastery. It has open plains and a garden surrounding it where you're able to walk around. The monastery was rebuild after the cultural revolution and itself is divided into multiple layers with their own characteristics. Being able to walk here during a prayer makes it more special. Certainly worth the visit.

Interesting monastery that gives you Tibetan monastic culture of Tibet.

Very nice monastery. 4 different stupas in 4 different colors. Wonderful.

A great and holy place to visit while being in the Tibet Autonomous Region.

First and Oldest monastery in Tibet. Stay for two days. Trekking chimpuk hermit is recommended. Great semi dessert landscape
