One of my favorite restaurants in the World Showcase. We eat here every time we come to Epcot. Love the interior decor of this restaurant. Excellent food provided with great service. My favorite dish here is the Carne Asada. Extremely flavorful and a good portion. The Pollo A las Rajas is also excellent. Although I did not get it this time, the flan is fantastic. For this visit, we had lunch. And as always, make sure you have a reservation. It does get crowded. Be careful to check and make sure if you are on a Disney dining plan that all items are available for you to choose from. We typically go à la carte so is not an issue, but you should be aware of this. Enjoy!

An atmospheric upscale Mexican restaurant located inside the Mexico Pyramid at Epcot. The service is 5 * and the atmosphere is good. It has scenic view of Donald's ride including the Pyramid and Volcana similar to that of Blue Bayou at Disneyland. The seating also have a view of the vendors inside the Pyramid and ride queue. I see how this is meant to compliment the experience giving the feel of eating at a traditional Mexican marketplace place similar to Olvera Street in LA or common place in Ensenada and Cabo, however I think when it gets busy or the ride queue is overflowing and you just have people standing there it kinda takes away from the atmosphere. The food itself was beautiful and delicious but not the best the resort has to offer at that price point. The Carne Asada which is really just a seasoned steak was a bit tough for the price considering he other options at Epcot. This goes without saying but. This restaurant is located inside of Epcot and requires separate park admission.

It has such an amazing vibe.... Between the ceiling twinkle night sky and live mariachi singers you will be transported to Mexico when you eat. The food is delicious! The chicken enchilada is yummy and the queso dip is perfect for snacking. The waiter brought ice cream and a lot candle for our birthday guest without us having to ask him! He was polite and friendly and did a wonderful job serving us!

Had reservations for lunch on the busy Tuesday of Thanksgiving week. I was expecting more for the price of the fish tacos, but they were delicious; the pineapple salsa added a nice, fresh pop to the tacos. The fish was lightly fried and not overly battered. The pollo enchiladas were a lot of food, but tasty. The service could have been better and the tap water tasted off. Overall, not a bad option for a sit-down and order restaurant in the park.

San Angel Inn Restaurant, nestled within Epcot's Mexico Pavilion, holds a truly special place in our hearts. It's not just how beautifully they highlight the Latin heritage; it's the backdrop for countless family birthdays and cherished memories, all accompanied by terrific Mexican food and wonderful staff. We absolutely adore the immersive atmosphere, the surprise appearances of the mariachi band, and having the Gran Fiesta Tour ride right there. It's a fantastic escape within Epcot and a definite must-try for dinner. We can't recommend it enough, and reservations are definitely a good idea. Pro tip: Try to request a table by the water for an unforgettable experience!

Location is everything. We were lucky enough to have unobstructed views. If you habe the luxury of time, request it. The food was seasoned well! Everything tasted different unlike other mexican restaurants!! Unique flavors and spices. Would eat here again and again. Chips and salsa was not complimentary. Chips were mildly stale. Avocado margaritas always deliver! They do NOT have fries for picky kids.

We recently had lunch at San Angel Inn Restaurante for the first time in years, and we’re so glad we came back! For lunch, we had the Shaved Ribeye Tacos and the Enchiladas de Pollo—both dishes were packed with flavor and beautifully presented (I completely forgot to take a photo). The ribeye was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the enchiladas were delicious. We also tried the margarita flight, which included the Avocado, Clásica, and Blood Orange margaritas (probably a big reason I forgot the food photos). Service was attentive, and even with a full dining room, we never felt rushed. It was the perfect break in our EPCOT day. After so many years away, this meal reminded us why San Angel Inn is a hidden gem. We won’t wait so long to return next time!

Stepping into the San Angel Inn Restaurante felt like being transported to a charming Mexican plaza at twilight. The perpetual evening setting, overlooking the Mayan pyramid and the gentle river ride carrying boats from the Gran Fiesta Tour, is absolutely beautiful and incredibly immersive. It truly captures the feeling of dining outdoors in a traditional Mexican town square under the stars – the atmosphere alone is worth the visit! But the praise doesn't stop at the ambiance. The food was genuinely amazing – authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a hit. And the cocktails? Absolutely fantastic! Perfectly crafted and delicious – don't skip the tequila flights! Adding to the wonderful experience was the service. Our server was attentive, friendly, and very nice, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our meal. We truly had an amazing time at San Angel Inn. It's a must-do dining experience in Epcot for the incredible atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, and wonderful service. Highly recommended! We can't wait to return!

Yelp
I would give the San Angel Inn Restaurante 4 stars out of 5. This is a Mexican restaurant located in the Mexico area of Disney's Epcot theme park. It's a good dine in restaurant overall, but kind of pricey (to be expected). The hostess and waiter were both very friendly. The theming inside is amazing, it's like you're dining outside at night in Mexico, and there is a cute little boat ride indoors you can do after you eat. There is also a marketplace with handmade items you can buy. Onto the food, the food was tasty. We had 2 appetizers - the pork rinds with guacamole, and the chips and queso/salsa - the queso was the best - delicious. Our entrees were tasty - we had the camarones (shrimp) à la Diabla and the chicken enchiladas. The chicken enchiladas are very filling and rich, the sauce is very sweet which was different than what I'm used to, but still good. The camarones were good, but definitely lacked the spice that I'm used to in this dish at other Mexican restaurants - it's not very hot. Overall, a spot worth dining in at once for the experience at Epcot!

Yelp
San Angel Inn in Epcot's Mexico pavilion isn't just a restaurant--it's a hallucination that somehow comes with queso fundido. You walk into the pyramid and suddenly you're eating dinner under a perpetual twilight sky, a volcano smolders in the distance, and boats drift past from the Gran Fiesta Tour. It's the only place in Disney where you can eat tacos inside a fever dream. The real stars of the show? The queso fundido--a molten, bubbling skillet of cheese that could probably solve half the world's problems if we just served it at peace talks. It's less an appetizer and more a lifestyle choice. Then there are the chicken enchiladas, rich and comforting, and the tacos--whether chicken or steak--that prove sometimes simplicity wins. These aren't theme park tacos, they're tacos that laugh at theme park food. Service here is just as enchanting as the setting. Polite, attentive, and delivered with the kind of warmth that makes you forget you're technically still in Florida. Every cast member here deserves an Oscar for pretending this isn't the 14th queso fundido they've served in the last hour. And the theming? Unreal. The constant twilight sky makes you lose track of time. One minute you're eating tacos, the next you're wondering if you accidentally moved into a hacienda. It's the only restaurant where you can have dinner, ride a boat, and question reality without ever stepping outside. Yes, it's pricey. Yes, reservations are tough. But the truth is, the atmosphere is so surreal you'll forgive it all. This isn't just a meal, it's an experience. You don't come here to eat, you come here to be bewitched. San Angel Inn is the most beautiful restaurant in Epcot, period. Between the queso, the tacos, and the surreal setting, it's pure Disney magic with a Mexican twist. If the rest of Epcot is a theme park, San Angel Inn is a spell--and queso fundido is the incantation.

Yelp
I have memories dining here with family when I was younger and visiting EPCOT. I was pleased to discover it has not changed in terms of atmosphere and quality since then. It's located in the Mexico pavilion of World Showcase in EPCOT. Walk-ups are possible but reservations are preferred. It's a popular choice for lunch and dinner so I would suggest a reservation. There is something for everyone here. I've enjoyed their chips and dips plus the quesadilla. Both were delicious when I've had them. I've tried other dishes like the chicken and the tortilla soup is fresh. Pricing is high but this is more of a nicer experience if you're trying to unwind after a crazy day at the park or perhaps want a more romantic atmosphere. I do not drink personally, but they have an impressive menu of drinks if that is your thing.

Yelp
We absolutely love the ambiance and food here. Unfortunately, on our second visit here, the service was not as good. Our waiter came and took our order for drinks and then took a long time to come back to take our food order... Once he took our food order, we never saw him again. Our food came out, and still no waiter. Eventually a different waiter started asking if we needed anything... But we don't know if he was our new waiter or if he was just being nice. The food was again very good. I love the chicken tostadas. And of course eating inside. The Mexico pavilion is just very cool. We will obviously come back again, but hopefully the surface is better next time.

Yelp
For my first time, I really enjoyed the ambiance as a restaurant goer. It takes a few minutes to get the food but the drinks came quickly and the waitress was extremely attentive. I ordered the chicken tacos and they were exceptional - I wasn't expecting the tacos to be deconstructed but it was still great. Minor hit on the score was due to the chipped plate and the silverware wasn't super clean. It got fixed but felt like for the price point these minor fixes would've been easily avoided

Yelp
The Mexico pavilion is my favorite at Epcot, and San Angel is nestled in the back -- the atmosphere is dim and quiet, and feels more premium with cloth napkins and tablecloths. The staff is usually incredibly friendly, and the service is solid and quick (but not too quick). The food is pretty solid, and is (what I assume to be) authentic Mexican. It's something to be aware of if you have pickier little ones, as the tacos aren't Tex-Mex style, as they're more shaved ribeye vs ground beef. The margaritas and tequila flights are outstanding, I'd recommend to even mild tequila enthusiasts. Overall this is a very solid option at Epcot, just a bit on the pricey side and tricky for those who aren't into more authentic Mexican fare. I'd recommend making a reservation as well, the pavilion can get pretty crowded and this place fills up. Check it out if you're looking for a more elegant dinner in a beautiful spot!

Yelp
It's an adorable place to sit down and eat! The ambience was very romantic, and it's cool to be by the water watching the boat ride. I love how festive the shops were around the area too. The food was delicious! We shared the tostadas ($16) and chicken enchiladas ($33), and we were both so full afterwards! The enchiladas were huge and came with 4. The avocado margarita was absolutely divine and refreshing, and my friend loved her mocktail too. We made a reservation on the app which made it easier too, and we managed to squeeze in the boat ride while we waited.

Yelp
We just all had a great meal at the San Angel Inn Restaurante in Disneys EPCOT Mexico Pavillion! This has to be one of the coolest pavilions in World Showcase, where you're completely encapsulated in this "indoor" outside setting. The ambiance, subtle music, and food all add to the experience of getting a traditional (despite my meal) Mexican meal! In our party, most of our friends ordered some sort of taco or enchilada and they all enjoyed! I ended up being basic and got a Caesar salad with shrimp (because I wanted something moderately healthy), but I did dig into the plantains which were

Yelp
We've been here several times over the years. It appears they have done some remodeling of the dining space in the last couple years, which adds booths and more lighting, without taking away from the ambience of the pavilion. We had dining reservations, and we're seated promptly at our arrival. The waiter quickly greeted us, and was very friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. We started off our meal with fresh guacamole. The chips were homemade and paired perfectly with the dip. My daughter got the chicken enchiladas, and she said they were very delicious. The portion size was generous. I have the catch of the Day which came with potatoes and plantains. The fish was well seasoned and cooked well. I have always appreciated that this restaurant is not your "Tex-Mex type chain restaurant" that we see all over the country. The dishes are well thought out and authentic. This restaurant stands the test of time and is one of the better ones in the World Showcase at EPCOT. It is one of our favorites, and of course we will be back in the future!

Yelp
I think La Hacienda de San Angel (directly across from the Mexico Pavilion pyramid) is a much better dining experience. The $21 Black Magic Margarita is basically a slushie. I wouldn't order that again. The $32 Pollo Las Rajas was fine, but I wouldn't order it again either. I didn't get to sit along the railing to the water where the Donald Duck ride is. It's pretty dark in here. Overall, this restaurant doesn't make my top 3 at EPCOT. Pass

Yelp
Epcot-We decided to come into the country of Mexico and eat at this cute little restaurant. A couple of us had already eaten, so we got something on the lighter side. The chicken tostadas were very tasty. Guacamole was OK, although it was not real avocados. More like a powdery substance with a few real avocados smashed in. We absolutely loved the pepitas and mango on top of the guacamole. The chips were Chicharron instead of tortilla chips, which was a nice switch up. Definitely could've done without the hot sauce poured all over the Chicharrons. Service was excellent, and the cocktails were quite tasty although they were a bit too sweet for most of us. Definitely would come back and try some of the larger entrées next time. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of our cocktails!

Yelp
I had been to Disney World in 2000 and so coming back on my own terms was so great! I went to Epcot on my last couple days and this was the restaurant my boyfriend and his family always went to. I could not have scripted a better experience. The food was exploding with flavor! The chips and salsa were phenomenal I really enjoyed the wait staff and their attentiveness and attention to detail. The view of the ride with the pyramid is a really impressive and unique way to eat a great meal. At the end of my dinner I was given a birthday card signed by the staff and my absolute favorite Donald Duck! Best birthday ever!

Yelp
Future me, remember to have the kids split a quesadilla. It will probably be cheese, since Yoshi only wants cheese. If you get Hiro the chicken quesadilla, he may not eat it, but it tasted decent the next day. The kids meals are generous portions that come with two sides. We did rice and corn with one and rice and fruit with the other. I wasn't a huge fan of the corn, but the rice is delicious. I even ate it cold the next day and it was still good. I got the shrimp Caesar salad and it was pretty good. My husband got enchiladas and it had a bunch of cheese. Way too much cheese for him, so reminder to him, if he gets the enchiladas again, ask for it without cheese. We also started with the chips with queso and salsa. They weren't anything to write home about, but if we're craving queso or salsa it's pretty good. I got the avocado margarita, which was delicious as always. I saw another table had a margarita flight, so maybe next time I'll pivot to that. Even after you check in the wait can be a while, so definitely check in on your phone as you're walking there. Our server was so nice. If I didn't have the kids I would ask to sit by the water to watch the boats go by. It would take longer to get a table, but it's so worth it (to me.)

Yelp
We really wanted to like San Angel Inn Restaurante because the ambiance seemed really nice. It reminds me of Blue Bayou in Disneyland because of the restaurant by the water ride vibe. Anyways, we checked in 20 minutes prior and got into line once we got the text that said our table was ready. People were consistently trying to cut us even though there was only one line. Once we were finally able to check in, everyone that was in line behind us, who tried to cut us, were sat first at a nice four person table (for two people). Meanwhile, we patiently waited for our table, just to be sat at a cramped two person table between two other tables shoulder to shoulder. Note to self for next time, I shoud've asked for a different table. At that point, we had lost our appetite and decided to not order entrees, and just went for drinks and some chips (totopos $9 with salsa and white cheddar cheese). I thought the chips were fine, but my husband thought the white cheddar cheese was beyond bland. We tried the margarita flight $30, which was great and quite strong. Comes with classic, blood orange, and the wild one. I also got the La cava avocado ($18), and it was delicious. Boozy, sweet avocado slushy - yum. Our server, Francisco, was nice enough albeit extremely busy. He kept reintroducing himself, not sure why. You pay at the table. Would I come back for the drinks? Maybe...because you can't get these drinks elsewhere in Epcot. Just drop your expectations on service and vibes. No regrets on just getting drinks and chips to be honest.

Daniel M.

Yelp
Started with the tostadas, very authentic and delicious. My enchilada entree was also. Our server Rosario was excellent, she had top seniority there and it showed. She recommended we try the corn ice cream dessert and it did not disappoint. You really feel like you are experiencing a nice cool evening in Mexico, the ambience is great.

Yelp
This was my first time at this Disney restaurant, and the view and ambiance have always been spoken highly of, and I enjoyed them! It reminded me of Blue Bayou over in Disneyland. We started with the chips and salsa and queso, and the restaurant does get points for sharing a kitchen with La Cava, because their queso is one of my favorite things! I'd recommend it to anyone. Our entrees were the spicy shrimp with rice, and the chicken with potatoes, poblanos, and a poblano sauce. The flavors overall were really great! I loved the poblano sauce and the chicken was very tasty. The thing I'm hung up on is the value - the entrees were good quality, but for a $32 price tag on each, the price for the portion size wasn't there for me. Disney has plenty of restaurant with a ton of food for the same price range, so I don't feel like this the best bang for your buck on property. I'm really glad we tried it and the service was excellent, but not sure it will be a staple for us as locals.
google avatar

Gabbi H.

Yelp
I visited the restaurant a couple of times recently, after not having been in years. The food is really good! We tried a variety of things over a couple of visits and enjoyed all of it. My biggest complaint is the ambiance and service. The restaurant ambiance in nature is already not great. Although the setting is really nice in general, due to the Mexico pavilion it is located in being beautiful, there are so many tables crammed into this restaurant that unless you luck out with one of the few waterside tables, you are really just sitting here looking at a sea of tables and other guests. Additionally, each time I have come here, there servers have been very inattentive, barely present at the table, and have not made the meal anything to remember. If you want a quick meal and to be in and out during your park day, I recommend it. But given the natural aesthetic of being located in this pavilion, I wish the experience was a little more special.

Yelp
What a cool restaurant in Epcot!!! It was Coco themed. The enchiladas was delicious and chips and salsa! Our service was great as well! This is a must try in Epcot!

Yelp
I haven't been here in a long time and a friend suggested we go. I had the Tostadas de Pollo which was Crispy Corn Tortillas topped with Beans, Chipotle Chicken, Cilantro, Queso Fresco and Crema Mexicana. This was part of the appetizer menu but I found the portion to be big enough for me. I'm not sure how you would actually share this if there were multiple people at the table. The tortilla was fresh, and there was plenty of filling on it. Our server was really nice and kept bringing us water...it was super hot out! I'm never usually a fan of sitting in the dark at restaurants, but the lighting wasn't too awful.

Yelp
Ambiance Dim lighting nice for romantic dinner. The back wall is a painting of aztec pyramid, very nice. Customer Service Our server Vinicio was polite and attentive. I noticed the mezcal is served with grasshoppers. He explained the process. Consume the grasshoppers like salt, sip mezcal, taste the orange peel, finish with margarita like mix at the end, then repeat. Ordered Ilegal Espadin Reserve. Joel front of house manager checked with us, very polished gentleman made us fell appreciated and welcome. Guacamole Dip Come with pork rinds, different twist but is works. Chilaquiles Came with duck carnitas, different, very good. Protein serving small. Osso Bucco This is a generous slow braised pork shank, meat falls off the bone served with mole negro, plantains and rice. The rice was undercooked. Avocado Margarita I liked it alot. Rate the food 4 but customer service exceeds a 5 thus my overall rating 5.
google avatar

Tania D.

Yelp
This was on our list for a while, but unfortunately I did not enjoy our meal. We started with the guacamole and the queso fundido. The guacamole comes with chicarrones which was a nice twist, but they douse it with a super spicy sauce and they were inedible. The queso in the queso fundido was hard. Our meals included the chicken enchiladas and chicken tacos. My daughter did enjoy the tacos, but I did not like the sauce in the enchiladas. The service was ok, but we were rushed. This will be a skip next time.

Yelp
This is easily one of the best restaurants at Disney. The ambiance of the restaurant is incredible and makes you feel as though you are dining in Mexico for the evening. I absolutely love the ribeye tacos here but all of the food is awesome. Jose was a wonderful waiter with excellent recommendations for us.
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
Growing up this was one of my favorite places to eat with my family and go on the ride. Went this week and not only was ride broken, but food has gone downhill extremely. The taste of Mexico is gone and the Quesadillas are actually just tacos with chicken and cheese. Nachos had frozen guacamole. Never going back.

Yelp
We recently tried this restaurant in epcot and unfortunately were not impressed with the overall experience. Let me start off by saying the taste of the food was fantastic. However, the portions were terribly small and the menu items were more limited compared to surrounding restaurants in epcot. It does have a cool and unique atmosphere dining inside the pyramid next to the river, but there are more enticing restaurants to try while in epcot in my opinion.

Yelp
Fun spot to get away from the park and enjoy some good food. I have always wanted to eat at this restaurant and glad I finally did.

Yelp
What's not to love about San Angel Inn? A meal at this restaurante makes you feel like you're dining under the stars no matter what time of day it is outside. The Mexico pavilion is always one of my favorite stops in Epcot because it's so unique ... and even if you only dine here for drinks and chips, this is a must-visit in my opinion. I've eaten here in the past, and always consider it a solid lunch option. We were able to grab a table for eight in the late afternoon, despite not having a reservation. Our server was wonderfully attentive - making sure we always had plenty of chips and salsa. The ambiance is unmatched - and reminiscent of Blue Bayou in Disneyland (which is my favorite Disney restaurant). Our group shared a few appetizers - most notably the delightfully cheesy Queso Fundido. I also tried the El Diablo margarita, which was perfectly spicy and smokey. My husband ordered the La Cava Avocado margarita, which was smooth and creamy.
google avatar

Cybel P.

Yelp
Stopped in for drinks and appetizers. The queso fundido was just like in Mexico warm and gooey and was paired with warm tortillas (not chips) we had the margarita flight in an effort to try all three and they were all delicious! Loved the location and the vibes.

Yelp
The location is amazing. Reminiscent of the Blue Bayou at Disneyland with the boat ride taking place next to it. But, that's where it ends. Service is ok. It's mostly rushed, because the whole operation is about maximizing turnover to keep the cash register really ringing. Food is the biggest travesty. Look, many know Disney World (taking Walt's name out of this, he would never be ok with what's going on) prices have been inflated to an unrealistic point, but this is one example where value does not meet quality does not meet anything. The menu is a travesty of bastardized ideas of Mexican food with NONE of the execution or flavor profiles one should expect for the price being paid. It's beyond bad. The food is just awful. Dried out rice pilaf is NOT Mexican Rice. Black beans with ZERO flavor is not Mexican at all. Even then, tortillas taste of factory made processed garbage, meats are generally flavorless and dry, nothing even remotely comes close to actual Mexican food. For the prices, each entree should be massive, but no. Everything is carefully weighed to the bare minimum allowed per person. When people excuse this absolutely atrocious culinary butchering akin to, "they have to appease many different taste buds," it's insulting to say the least. Mexican food is one of the MOST treasured cuisines in the world today. This restaurant does NOTHING to honor or celebrate Mexican food whatsoever.

Steven B.

Yelp
I ate here for a late lunch/early dinner yesterday and loved it. This is my second time eating here, and I came back because this restaurant hits everything I am looking for in an Epcot meal, with delicious food in a beautifully themed dining area. I particularly recommend eating here mid-day. There is something extra fun about stepping out of the blazing midday heat into the cool night air on a patio. With the river and pyramid on one side, and the bustling market to the other, the experience really does transport the diners. Add in some excellent food and friendly service and you can't go wrong. We had the chips with cheese and salsa, my son and I got the steak tacos, and my wife had the chicken Caesar salad. All were excellent, and the relaxing environment refreshed us to continue through the busy day. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Yelp
I did not realize that I had not updated my review in so long. Since my last review, this restaurant had progressively improved up to 5-star level, even during the pandemic. However, our last visit over July 4th weekend, I saw some changes that were not positive. The tables have been rearranged and there are now bright lights which shine above many of them. It no longer has the romantic atmosphere from before. Also, there are no more complimentary chips and salsa. I don't mind paying, but it's more the principle of the thing. Overall, still a decent place.
google avatar

Virginia J.

Yelp
Loved the ambience, which simulates an outdoor environment even though you're indoors. It is located inside Epcot within a huge Aztec style building. You really can't miss it. We had reservations here, but do note that the entire party has to be present before they will seat you. They give you a window of about 10-15 min. The food was delicious but heavy on the cheese. Next time, I may go without it. Large serving size and very filling. Waiter was hard to get a hold of sometimes, though. Not sure if it's because of the holiday season with more people around. Seating is essentially in a large auditorium with tables grouped together in the center. Though I didn't have trouble hearing people at my table.

Yelp
Service was fast and didn't require a reservation. The amadala(?) was better than fajitas from generic Mexican. Edwin was super helpful! Ask abput the seasonal margaritas. The Mango was the bomb.

Yelp
Honestly it might be theme park food but you honestly get some pretty darn good food and some beautiful atmosphere for the price in my opinion. Located in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot this restaurant is very small so if you are not a fan of being close to people you are not together with, it may be something you want to stay clear from. This is an absolutely beautiful and well themed restaurant making it feel like you are truly eating under the sky and one of my favorite things is you get to see the boats for the Mexican ride go by while you enjoy your food. I will say that their prices are very expensive and for something you could go to any local Mexican restaurant for, you are definitely paying double. But again you were paying for the atmosphere and the fact that you were at a Disney theme park. I got the chicken enchilada and let me say that this thing was very filling however coming in and the price of $30 you would definitely think you would get a little more bang for your buck. The chicken was very tender and the peppers that they placed in there had a wonderful crunch to them. Everything was cooked and marinated to perfection! The seasoning they used you could taste a little bit of heat but it wasn't anything that was overpowering and kept me coming back for more and more bites until the entire plate was empty! The staff here is very friendly and when I was unsure about a couple different choices of food, the waitress told me what her favorite thing was and I decided to get that! They were very attentive and my water glass never went below half of a cup and I drink a lot because it was so hot! A great place to try however if you are pressed for time while you're at the theme parks I do not recommend coming here because it took a nice amount of time to get our food and pay for it.

Yelp
We liked this restaurant for the ambiance, but the food is average in my opinion. Service was great-polite and efficient. Enchiladas were good, but the tortilla soup was very bland. Queso Fundido is really is just like melted cheddar cheese which firmed up very quickly, not a thinner queso dip that I expected. It was a bit awkward to fill and roll in the tortillas.

Yelp
Rey (the Lion of Ponce) provided amazing friendly professional service. Food was good. Margaritas well made (get The Wild One). Cool calming ambiance inside the pyramid. Get the Guacamole & Queso Fundido with Chicharrón (crispy pork rinds). Always a winner. Thanks Rey!!

Yelp
The chicken enchiladas were delicious! I got the red sauce instead of green and I was very pleased. I also got rice instead of plantains and I like how the rice had corn in it, with the red sauce from the enchiladas it's amazing. The tortilla soup was soooo good, we drank the last drop. It's super flavorful but a little salty, which we loved. The Totopos were alright, the salsa was very spicy, not regular salsa, and the queso had no flavor, the two needed to be mixed, and some of the chips were stale and not salty at all. Other than that, everything here was great! Would definitely come back for the soup and the enchiladas and the drinks!

Yelp
This is a dark restaurant in Mexico/Epcot. We could not read the menu without using a flashlight. I used the Disney app to see the menu online, but I think that the printed menu had other items that I missed. Israel was our wait staff, and he was good. We did have to ask another person to find him to refill our water glasses. The food was a little spicy and we drank 2 glasses of water each. Husband sat with his back to the volcano. I had a great view. Yes, he saw me, and he always enjoys seeing me, but since we were inside the Mexico Pavillion, it would have been nice if we'd had a table so that he could see the volcano, too. The food was excellent! I had the Sopa Azteca as an entree, and Husband had the chicken enchiladas. He gave me his plantains. They were the best! I e never tasted plantains this good As annual pass-holders we received a 10% discount which was half the tip we left. The food was pricey, but it WAS incredible.

Yelp
Cod tacos were so bad - fish was dry almost like it was microwaved. I felt sick after eating it. Won't eat here again.

Yelp
The way my family "did" disney growing up was to get free tickets from a timeshare pitch and bring cold cut sandwiches in a bag to avoid paying for food at the park so this was my first real Disney restaurant experience and needless to say I was skeptical. Naturally it was a bit overpriced (eg $15 guac) but I actually thought it was pretty good and if it didn't have the Disney name attached to it I wouldn't have felt any more ripped off than I would have at your standard upscale Mexican city place. We had some apps to start and I ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp as my main. I opted for a drink that the server recommended - it ended up being a pretty basic margarita but a very good one and they did NOT skimp on the booze. My Caesar salad was also basic but good and the shrimp were cooked and seasoned well. Service was quick but not brusque. The atmosphere was the real highlight; it's absolutely gorgeous inside and it's buzzy without being loud or clubby. Honestly? I'm kinda sold. Would def go back.

Yelp
We like this place. Sat down and ordered queso, server was very accommodating. Both adults ordered enchiladas. One mole sauce one regular but to me they tasted exactly the same. Kids got kids meals. Be forewarned if your kid is over 9 they charge you double. $26 for what looked like Panera Mac n cheese. $33 for meat tacos (just meat on tortillas no toppings whatsoever) Neither enjoyed. I'd return without the kids. Of course the environment is cool with the volcano and Mayan temple on the wall. Tide is currently down. Seating is very close quarters. They stuff those tables together.

Yelp
Rey was the guy who served us and let me say he might be one of the best servers I have come across while dining in. He was very attentive to us and even made sure I made it on time for my flight home in CA. Food was great and atmosphere was awesome I will be coming back as soon as I am in Orlando!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our meal here. The margaritas were delicious and so was the food. Personally, the chips and queso were not the best I've had. It is such a unique experience getting to dine here. It's so fun to eat in the Mexico pavilion. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I was fortunate enough to visit the original restaurant in Mexico City a few weeks ago on a quick weekend visit. I have to say the EPCOT version didn't disappoint either. I had the Osso Buco which was very tender. The mole sauce that topped it was excellent. Rice was perfectly cooked and their chips, salsa and Queso were perfection. While this isn't a criticism the one thing I did notice was a tray full of drinks and old food hanging out in front of the table they put us at (it was moved and never picked up for the hour we spent there). Other than that, place was great.

Yelp
Reserved a table for 3 for lunch on a Monday and were seated within 10 minutes. Prime views of the pyramid. The food wasn't great, but wasn't bad either. Queso dip is a must. It was a little dark in there, but I get it's supposed to be like you're in the heart of Mexico at night. The waiters had cool pens that lit up what you were writing.

Yelp
YUM YUM YUM!!! OMG!!!! We got the guac and ribeye tacos lemonade PORTION-SIZE IS INSANE! We got full off the chips ngl but still ate everything else. View is GORGEOUS. Food is so fresh hot delicious and perfectly seasoned. Candlelit and service is quick and friendly. Thought it was hilarious when we got the bill the server said "don't go on mission space rn" hahahahah. Love the decor ambiance and the seating is comfy. There's a cool marketplace and a ride next door too.

Yelp
Came here for dinner last night. I got the chicken tacos and the guacamole for the table. I didn't realize we got queso and salsa as well. Our server, Jose, was extremely nice and helped us with anyone we wanted. He was so kind and worked so hard to make sure we felt welcomed and was a great host!! Super personable. This was a great restaurant too, I'd dint realize how big it was inside! The chicken tacos were super yummy and I loved the plantains. Could've been split between two people. Loved this pick!

Yelp
One of my top go-to's in Epcot primarily for the ambiance. It really can't be beat. I challenge you to come here and say otherwise. For looks over substance, this is your place. How shallow are you?? : ) Located in the heart of the Mexican pavilion, with an artificial night sky, pyramid, and periodically exploding volcano in the background, the restaurant is breathtaking. IMO easily the most romantic restaurant in the park and a great reset if you feel on the verge of heatstroke. Mariachi players also sometimes come around and you can see the boats going by as well. Cool stuff. As to food, it's definitely gotten better but it's still no Rosa Mexicano even and it's pretty expensive for what it is. They also don't do complimentary chips and salsa ,which would have been nice but my business minor gets it. The goal is to move people who will likely be one-time patrons in and out as quickly as possible and with the highest tab. Unlimited chips and salad are seriously in conflict with that. Fine. Although it seems like Disney won't ever throw you a bone, or even a tortilla chip I guess. Fine. The queso appetizer is decent if heavy for the hot weather. The chicken enchiladas also acceptable but very heavy and bland- would recommend splitting. With the tortilla soup, the server pours the broth over the contents when it arrives which is mildly amusing but the soup is also kind of bland. The shrimp dish is fine. Get the gist here? Again, I get it. Disney tries to not get anyone or anything hot and bothered, and that includes your taste buds. I heard they revamped their menu recently so maybe the food has gotten better. But even if not, still consider this place for the sheer ambiance and just have minimal expectations and don't over-order. No one wants to carry around a doggie bag of mediocre left-over-Mexican-food-that-will-get-thrown-out-in-two-days around with them all day. Tip: Arrive early and ask for a table by the water. Often they can accommodate, although you may have to wait a bit. Oh also this place is dark. Great for couples but if you are going with elderly parents, they may have trouble seeing the menu. Kids might also fall asleep but maybe that's a welcome respite.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch while at Epcot as this is one of my go to spots. Miguel took care of my son and myself and he was very attentive. Food is always great and the scenery is nice on a hectic day. Must try if you are at Epcot!

Yelp
Yesterday I are here for the first time for my friend's birthday lunch at Epcot! I've always seen this place while riding the pavilion ride and have always been curious! We were so excited to be able to experience this place! Although the pavilion is not well lit inside, the restaurant has ample lighting at the tables so you're able to have a clear view of the people with you and your environment. When we sat down there was some rice on the table but the service team was quick to get everything cleared up and even asked us if we wanted to move to another table. We were fine staying where we were and didn't let that ruin our great time! Miguel was our server and he was so very nice and patient with the questions our group had about the menu. If I could make any recommendation for this place I would say get the avocado margarita! It tastes just like a smoothie! You wouldn't even know that there's alcohol in it, which is a very dangerous but delicious combo! For my entree I opted for the light Caesar salad and added on shrimp since we were also enjoying the food and wine festival bites as well! Overall I would say this place was a great choice, and I would definitely come back again!
