San Art Floating Hostel

Our stay at Saint Art Floating Hotel on the Sava River in Belgrade was truly unforgettable. As a researcher working on water and sustainability, staying in a floating hotel right on the river was both inspiring and enjoyable. The calm atmosphere, combined with the gentle sound of the water, created a very unique and peaceful environment. What made this place so special, however, were the people. The hotel manager Sasha, his assistant and friend Gale, and the rest of the wonderful team were incredibly kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home – inviting us to meals, offering us rides into the city and nearby towns, and always treating us with warmth and generosity. We also loved the hotel’s adorable cat, which especially became a little friend to my nephew Ahoora. These small details made our stay even more memorable. We were a group of six family members (my wife, my daughter Boshra, my son Hanan, my niece Sakar, my nephew Ahoora, and myself), and all of us left with beautiful memories of both Belgrade and the people we met here. This is more than just a hotel – it’s a place where you feel part of a family. We highly recommend Saint Art Floating Hotel to anyone visiting Belgrade. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The breakfast featured traditional Serbian dishes and was incredibly delicious. The hotel owners were exceptionally kind and hospitable, always willing to assist with anything we needed. Our room had an amazing view overlooking the Danube River. Everything was spotless, and the location was very central.

Best place to stay at Belgrade ever. It was a great chance to stay in this hostel, located by the river, close to the center, and managed by friendly people. I would like to thank and send my greetings to the lady on the morning shift, who took great care of us. Wish to come and stay here again!

A special place with first-class hospitality service. The staff are so welcoming, they help wherever they can and go above and beyond to make your stay special. The location is beautiful, the room was very clean and the lounge area has got real character. We will never forget the lovely long chat we had one evening with the night manager. Watch out though, you may fall in love with the ginger cat that roams the halls :'). Thank you once again for the unforgettable stay and the tasty treats you gave us on our departure! :)

Amazing floating hostel, peaceful and quiet. Very helpful staff and friendly owner. Great breakfast. This is a place to stay if visiting Belgrade, but you want to be away from the busy city. Bus stops are just a few minutes walk away. Sasha and Momo will be there to help you organize your trips. They are ready to give you wonderful tips.

Friendly staff, they helped us with anti mosquito cream and also recomandations for dinner. The location is very nice, free public parking. The hostel is on the water and has a nice terrace for breakfast which was also nice and enough (eggs, sausages, fresh vegetables and fruits, juice, coffee and good hot sweet and salty pies).

To stay in a floating hotel was really an experience. The view from the deck at sunset was to die for. The staff was so welcoming and nice and spoke really good English. The room was small, but as in the pictures and with everything you needed. They even thought to have clothes hangers on the door or a lamp at the bed and, importantly, nets and the windows. They even ofered cream againts the mosquitoes when we were having a drink on the deck. The breakfast was homemade, we had omelet, fresh vegetables, fruit and coffee, but really big portions. The location is quite nice, in a park and near the city centre/Belgrad castle and some floating restaurants so it may get noisy. The only complaint is that the mattress was not that comfy, but we got a good night's sleep.
