Beautiful trip. Not much sun but an amazing time with great friends ❤️

The San Blas Islands are stunning, with one of the most beautiful and clean beaches I’ve ever seen. The tour was well-organized, with hotel pickup at 5 a.m., a 3-hour drive to the bay, and a 20–30 minute boat ride to the islands. However, the food was awful fried fish and chicken cooked in old oil, and a seafood mix that was far from appetizing. Drinks on the islands are pricey; so if you plan to go, I highly recommend bringing your own food to avoid this issue.. At $120 per person, the beaches are worth it, but the food is a letdown.

I loved these Islands. We did a one day boat tour from one island to another and ir was mesmerizing. The crystal blue water, the weather and the food was amazing. Would absolutely recommend. The trips are around 14h long (through windy roads) so it is quite a long day but so worth it.

I travelled for a week across the San Blas Islands on SeaLab boat. My stay there was amazing, the captain Ale and Lu, the hosts, can do and fix EVERYTHING in the boat and help you if you need something. Great italian cuisine on the boat, every meal is different, from pasta with various sauces to lobsters and fish. they took me in lots of beautyful spots to snorkel, i saw nurse sharks, stingrays, spotted manta rays, barracudas, everything I could dream about. The bed on the boat was also pretty nice for a sail boat, huge and the roof was tall and comfortable. they waited for me in Yainsailadub and left me in Green Island so i had the opportunity to explore different islands. Absolutely recommend the sailing experience in San Blas and would recommend SeaLab and Alessandro and Luigina!

While this area takes some effort to get to, the effort is well worth it. The islands are little more than a bunch of sand bars with palm trees and a bit of grass here and there, along with wood building - often with sand floors. But the views are breathtaking, and the water is warm and inviting. Be prepared to get a bit wet on the boat ride over. Next time we'll be sure to put our bags inside plastic bags.

You’ve seen the pics of the remote islands where there are palms trees and little else. The images alone make your heart rate slow. Imagine being there. That is what you will find in San Blas. Don’t go thinking luxury accommodations like the Four Seasons. The closest you will get to luxury, or AC, is on a catamaran if you choose to go that route for a place to stay. This is the home of Gunas, indigenous people of Panama. You will find simple huts and bungalows. Flying into Panama City is an easy 2,5 hour flight from Miami, then a 2.5 hour drive to the San Blas. It would be best to book with tour group because the Gunas closely control access to their land and islands. We arrived via sailboat with a friend. We weren’t expecting to be there, but lightning changed the Captain’s route. We needed to get back to Panama City. A round trip tour is easy, but getting back one way wasn’t. Lam Tour was amazing! Many thanks. Very easy. Very helpful and not expensive. They arranged the water taxi pick up at the boat and the driver to take us back to our hotel in PCY. Judy was wonderful to work with. Raul, our driver was delightful. Speaks excellent English and very informative. Manage your expectations when you go. Think simple and authentic. Imagine a rustic canoe coming up with fresh lobster. Get some Mola, the artwork of the Gunas, or bowls made from coconut shells and beautifully painted. May through early fall you will sweat…a lot. But it’s so worthwhile.

Beautiful islands, warm and clear sea! A must-visit if you’re in the area. A day trip from Panama City is a bit tiring, but totally worth it. If you want to stay for the night and are travelling in peak season, make reservations well in advance. A great place to buy local souvenirs made by the indigenous people.

This is another highlight of the Panamá trip. When we saw the pictures of the island, we had hard time to believe that it would be that breathtaking view and yes, it was! The sea was amazing, the beach was gorgeous and people were very friendly ( even though we did not speak Spanish and they did not speak English ) Few watch outs: we rented a car and drove there ourselves, the roads are pretty poor with ton of potholes. And I am glad we drove ourselves Bc when we saw the tour cars bringing tourists like ourselves, we felt pretty lucky not being in those cars. Make sure you have cash with you, the entry to the certain parts require an entry fee, and they do not except cards. The same is true for the boat ride as well as the food on the island. The drive, as difficult as it was, was totally worth it. Also, there were ton of trucks on the road and crew to repair the roads. At one point, we had the wait for 20 min for the trucks to lay out the gravel.
