"The mile-long Via del Corso was, and remains, among Rome ’s most prestigious addresses. The modern street follows an ancient triumphal route and is trimmed by palaces built by popes and noble families. The San Carlo Suite, named for a nearby church, consists exclusively of suites, most set on the third floor of one such palace. The suites and common areas are meant to feel intimate and homey, although the rooms that feature a tub beside the bed may be taking it a step too far—or not far enough, depending on your preferences. Rooms are decorated in earth tones with splashes of color, and the furnishings embrace clean lines and minimalist design. Although the San Carlo Suite has on-site staff, the reception and concierge areas are in a sister property, Giglio d’Oro Suite , near Piazza Navona. Guests at the San Carlo Suite can contact a virtual concierge via Skype."

Wonderful stay and fantastic location! Everything you’d want to see in Rome is just minutes away on foot: Piazza Venezia – 10 minutes Spanish Steps – 3 minutes Piazza del Popolo – 7 minutes Fontana di Trevi – 7 minutes The Vatican – 15 minutes One small suggestion: it would be great if guests were clearly given the choice to pay in Euros at checkout. Many travellers prefer using the local currency to avoid unnecessary exchange fees. That little flexibility would make an already lovely experience even better!

Had an amazing stay at San Carlo Suites. Location was great, within walking distance to Spanish Steps and Metro station. Reception staff were very helpful. Room was spotlessly clean and we had a lovely terrace overlooking the street, which wasn't noisy at all. Highly recommended and hopefully will return soon

Seriously one of the BEST HOTEL here in ROME!! Clean place!! Cosy room!! And a very friendly receptionist!! I think his name is Missan? He explained everything perfectly for us with my girlfriend. Plus the place is near SPANISH STEP/ METRO TRAIN AND PIAZZA VENEZIA!! I Highly recommend this hotel for couples or family people who wants to stay for a day or two… plus the jacuzzi is something else!!!

The hotel is very hard to find .looks so different than on website. When we arrived u enter a very small lift.We were supposed to be on suite.lie..our rooms were supposed to be next to each other another lie.If you like your sleep do not stay in this hotel. Its supposed to be a 4 star another lie.The noise is unbearable which has resulted in me been ill due to lack of sleep for 3 nights. My daughter did complain and the manager gave her a cup of coffee.i just feel ripped of for paying 1,800 for flights from Manchester to rome and this hotel. No meals nothing included.Never again be warned people.im now going to sue love holidays

The hotel is on a busy street. The front desk staff is really not interested in knowing about anything u have to say about your accommodation or anything you’d want. Everything is minimally supplied.|The place is clean enough. The big jacuzzi in the room takes up a lot of space. Not sure it’s worth the price they’re getting. After 10 pm there is no one on site.

The location is great and the guys at the lobby quite nice and helpful, but for the price you would expect bigger rooms and at least some breakfast included. The room was just ok but the bathroom needed some urgent renovation (smelly and mold in the shower).

Perhaps for the price point in this location, this is as good as it gets. The location is excellent and the hotel room was clean (and cleanliness forgives all hotel sins). We found the amenities lacking, for instance no tissues, miniature soaps. The bedside "table" is made of pressboard and the drawer face kept falling off. A soap dish in the shower would be a nice feature. Housekeeping was excellent. I don't know how Google came up with 4 Stars for this property. It is a decent 3 star property. I gave it three because of the prime location, fair price and it was clean.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Really good location, the hotel was walking distance to most of the attractions. Decent sized rooms and also clean. Would recommend.
