We saw an orchestra show while in Naples for 24 hrs, it was a great experience! Gorgeous theater, great music, and staff were helpful with directing. We were unable to purchase tickets online but bought tickets same day at the ticket office without issues. Appreciate the affordable ticket prices, highly recommend!

Stepping into the Teatro di San Carlo feels like entering a fairytale. This historic opera house, one of the oldest and most prestigious in the world, is a masterpiece of elegance and grandeur. The rich red velvet, the golden balconies, and the dazzling chandelier create an atmosphere that takes your breath away. The acoustics are superb, and the performances match the beauty of the space. It’s more than a theatre — it’s a place where history, art, and magic come together. A must-visit for lovers of culture and beauty.

Absolutely stunning place. The staff is very patient and great with tourists and locals alike. We came to see a opera when we where in Napoli and we’re totally amazed by the theater and the opera on the same level. It’s stunning. Even if you just come to see the inside of this amazing place you wil be stunned. We also had a opera on top what was also of ultra Hooghly quality. Ill matrimoni secreto. Super fun opera that has been adapted to the modern age mixed with old cstumes. Singing level is at the top.

Visited this theatre to watch the LA FANCIULLA DEL WEST opera. It was interesting to watch an opera in western theme, but the theater itself is magnificent. We were sitting on a balcony on the second floor and we had a good view. The theater is in great condition, although it's very old and the acoustic is awesome. We also enjoyed the music from the symphonic orchestra. The staff is very helpful and we managed to reach our seats very quickly. The breaks are many and quite big (around 25 minutes), so they make the play quite long.

Our very first time watching Opera in Italy. “La Boheme” was a good first production to watch,it was very well performed by the Italian cast. This beautiful and historical theatre made our Experience a very memorable one, watching here gave me goosebumps! We got seats in the balcony boxes, which was comfortable even if we shared with a few strangers. The feel , the smell and the vibes of the place transported me back to the olden days of Naples. A true Italian experience! Must visit when in Napoli.

Amazing, one of the most spectacular theatres in the world, a "must see" if you are an art & culture lover...or you simply wanna get stunned and breathtaken. It's right in the old town heart of Naples, nearby the port and, once you step inside, very close to your heart❣️

We spontaneously got to the opera on June 15, it is possible to book through the vivaticket website, we were unable to do so through the theatre website. The best seats start from 90 euros. Excellent lyric coloratura. We really enjoyed it. The buffet is spacious, 25 minutes is enough for coffee and cognac. Also, if you did not have time to familiarize yourself with the libretto in advance, you can read the subtitles in English during the performance. Convenient for tourists

An old house that has been either ill-renovated, neglected, and/or totally taken for granted. What remains is a thin skin of old world charm around the starting walls of the great hall.

Yelp
This is a must. period. While vacationing in Rome, I took a side trip to Naples and this was one of my must see sites. I wasn't here long, at all, but husband and I dropped in early afternoon to queue and buy tickets for a tour. We enjoyed it very much. If we had more time and stayed in the area, we would've tried to catch a show, but this was the next best thing and it was great. If you have time and can't catch a show, this is the next best thing. The tour guide was passionate and told us stories about the theater. There was plenty of time to take pictures as well.

Yelp
Teatro di San Carlo is one of the most beautiful opera houses in Italy. Even if you're not an opera fan, you should come for the quintessential Italian experience.

Yelp
The guided tour of Europe's oldest opera house is about 45 min or so and is very interesting. Our charming guide narrated the tour in Italian and English and was able to answer additional questions from the group about this beautiful place. If you are in Naples even for a short time you will be happy you squeezed in time for this experience.

Yelp
Five stars for the guided tour of the Napoli Opera House. Very informative and narrated with passion by our guide. I wish I could visit the opera during performance, but the season hadn't started yet. The guided toor alternative brings you to all the areas you would like to see, even the kings loge.
