San Diego Surf

Doug and Ellie were super awesome. Had all 4 of us up and surfing having a ton on fun within the first few waves. Highly recommend, took us out to a really great spot. Very encouraging just like a good sport coach. Highly recommend no matter what skill level. Could always use more surf coaching and improvement. Thanks again Doug!

Don and Titus were great! Lots of communication before our session so we knew exactly where to meet and what to expect. They were really good with our 2 12 yr old girls. Really gave them excellent instruction and made sure they had fun!

This experience was great overall. We were visiting from Wyoming and Our son Diego (born with only his right hand, nothing past his elbow on the left arm) wanted to learn to surf… and we honestly think Doug was the best instructor he could have had. Doug was extremely kind and patient and his personality shines bright. He keeps it light and cracks jokes from time to time but knows when to get serious. After a brief training session and some practice, Diego was up and riding full waves all the way to the shore in no time. Definitely recommend!

Got me back on my feet! My son and I hit up Doug the night before we were headed out of town and could not have been more impressed with him from start to finish! He had an appointment and was unable to teach us but hooked us up with his partner, Cruz. Our lesson was AWESOME! Both the guys were so helpful and told us where to be and what to do. I went surfing 20 years ago and had a fantastic first-time experience, but then I had a scary experience 2 years ago in Santa Monica with a group lesson and said I would never do it again. I love the beach and being in the water, so I decided to give it another go and I'm so glad I did. Cruz got me back on the board and feeling confident again. Pretty much everything they had taught me at my scary lesson was the opposite of what Cruz taught!!! I got up repeatedly and my son picked it up immediately. Thanks, ya'll for being such pros and for making me feel young and alive again!

I had a wonderful experience with my first surf lesson with Doug and his assistant instructors. They were all super friendly and patient, making me feel comfortable and confident in the water. Overall, I had an absolute blast and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun and informative experience with an amazing team. Thanks so much, Doug, Daniel, and Noah!

Been surfing twice before. First time in Nicaragua and it was so bad that I had some PTSD and didn’t care to try again. Then I tried again in Portugal for a much better round 2, but after a couple hours I only got up once or twice. Doug and Titus were awesome. They were thorough, encouraging, and patient. Within 20 minutes in the water I was standing a vast majority of the time while pushing myself a little harder each time and learning through reps. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

This surf trip was amazing! I took my two adult sons and my daughter in law for my oldest son’s birthday and we had such a great time. The owner really took care of us and showed us what techniques work the best. It really made the whole vacation unforgettable!

Pretty EPIC! My kiddos first time riding and catching a wave. 🤙🏼 Great team with a ton of patience. Following day! Practiced what he learned. Think we will be coming back every year, for some more wave therapy👊🏼
