My Felix bus experience was terrible. It was life threatening. The bus was on fire and I sat in the back and very close to the fire After this happened, this company didn’t take any responsibility. And you have figure out your own way to finish the trip .my luggage was burned and they didn’t response for my lost. Also i cancelled return the trip. But after three month, I haven’t got my money back. Everyone should not take their bus for your life and money.

I had to cancel my bus trip due to winding up in the hospital 3 days before my trip. I was refunded zero dollars of my $136. Zero. I got a voucher for half but I will never risk my money with this bus. I'll walk to LA, first. Screw this company

Great experience. They just need to add Flixbus signage so passengers are assured they are at the correct pick-up location. Took a direct bus from SF to LA (Westwood UCLA Amtrak Bus Stop). On the way out of SF, the ride was a little wavy, and I tried not thinking about us being in the HOV lane (being close to the barrier lol). But after we left SF, it was a very smooth 7-hour bus ride on the 5, with a 30-minute rest stop at an EZ Trip near Avenal. Getting some hot food and protein really made the rest of the ride more comfortable. The air conditioning and power outlets both worked on my bus.

Despite the bad reviews, I decided to ride Flixbus from San Luis Obispo to San Francisco as the Coast Starlight Amtrak tickets were sold out. The bus arrived on time, driver was friendly, seats were comfortable, clean, and passengers were descent. However, the electrical sockets & USB did not work.

Great drivers. WiFi and outlets likely won't work. Bus was otherwise comfortable and clean. Staff @ the Salesforce bus terminal were not knowledgeable or helpful, unfortunately (not Flixbus employees so that's not on them per se), and I missed my bus trying to locate it. Flixbus customer service is woefully unhelpful. Stuff happens and buses get delayed sometimes - plan earlier arrivals to wherever you need to get. Get there 15 mins early so you have plenty of time to locate your bus. If you're an SF traveler, triple-check your departure location. I recommend bringing an eye mask, some sort of sleep aid/NyQuil/Dramamine/Benadryl, noise-canceling headphones, spare battery packs to charge devices, and you'll be in good shape.

Across the street from this pylon is a pole with a few signs on it. That is the stop, I was skeptical at first but it’s here and Flixbus comes. Also a train station building you could wait inside close by if you got here early like I did. Be 15 minutes early.

Glad this bus service exists but… A. Our bus driver abandoned an elderly lady with an oxygen mask at the food stop in the middle of the 5. Heartless. B. He almost left 4 more customers who were a single minute late. (We only had 20 mins to get food and use the restroom). C. When I had a past issue, customer support showed absolutely no compassion. If you ride Flix, DO NOT BE EVEN A SINGLE MINUTE LATE & do not expect any compassion. Cannot believe this woman who was clearly confused was left behind. One of us easily could’ve ran and gotten her; the place we stopped was small. Even more thrown because before all this, the driver seemed really nice.

Do NOT pay for a reserved seat. These aren't honored. Do NOT pay for a free seat next to you. These aren't honored. The bus reservation system is an unheeded scam. Do NOT bring a large bag. The bus driver won't let you take it on the bus. Do NOT talk to the bus driver. The bus driver will yell at you. Do NOT ask questions of the bus driver. The bus driver will yell at you. This creates a catch-22, damned if you do and damned if you don't. You can't talk to the bus driver, but if you don't ask what time to be back on the bus at lunch he will also yell at you. If you want to have a horrible, miserable, scary ride, in which a bus driver yells at you, intentionally swerves when people use the restroom, threatens to nullify your ticket, takes off from the rest stop without you (while keeping your luggage) because they don't bother checking to see if you're on board when he leaves earlier than announced, ride Flixbus. FlixBus, where the bus driver will tell you that his job is to drive the bus to the destination, not the passengers. Literally, their job is "bus driver" not "customer service."
