San Gallo Ocean

We truly loved our visit to San Gallo Ocean. Everything was outstanding – from the exquisite food and stylish interior to the attentive service and breathtaking ocean views. The convenience of private parking is an added bonus. An exceptional experience overall, highly recommended.

Fancy restaurant. Big dishes and excellent taste. Bit noicy as there are many birthday and other groups.

A little pricey but the food is very good. Açorda de marisco was a bit too big and a little dry. It could be a bit more moist and with more of the bigger prawns for the price.

Had dinner here with a group of friends on a chilly July night. The setting is beautiful with ocean views and definitely gives off a luxury vibe. The food looked great when it came out, but the taste didn’t quite live up to the presentation, several dishes were just okay. It was pretty cold, and while we saw other tables had blankets, we had to ask twice before getting some for our daughters. Would’ve been nice if they offered them up front. The service was hit or miss — one server in particular wasn’t very friendly, and the overall pace was slow. One guest didn’t get their meal until about an hour after the rest of us, which really took away from the experience. Overall, it’s a nice atmosphere, but the food and service didn’t quite match the upscale expectations.

I experienced my 1st taste of good ole European racism at this establishment. We sat on the rooftop and it was a bit cold. They had space heaters, but refused to ignite the 1 closest to our table. What really took the cake was the waiter rushed blankets to the table of white women directly behind us. When we inquired about the blankets we were told they didn’t have any. More tables guest arrived and were greeted with blankets. It wasn’t until we asked a different waiter of table was offered blankets and well as the heater. That alone ruined what could have been a good experience. Overall the food was very Mid.
