San Giors

We spent New Years Eve at this fabolous restaurant. The staff made us feel like home the entire night with their care and kindness. The food was delicious. And we were served bobbles to celebrate the midnight together. Lovely place!

Overall experience was great… of course there are all these same things about neighbourhood and how safe you can feel after sunset. But… If you are considering to order meal to hotel - think twice. I did not see any poster that “you CAN’T eat in room”. So I had to finish my pizza outdoors ok street. There are no tables for such situations - you can choose between sitting on the street or find some kind of improvised shelf.

Great value and located about 10min walk to centre. Not the nicest location but convenient and a few free parking spots out the front. Hotel is very clean and lovely. Well decorated. The staff is very helpful and breakfast was delicious!

The hotel may not be in the best neighbourhood of Torino but it is well located. The idea of having different designers and artists design each room is a lot of fun. Staff are extremely helpful. One thing to note - the hotel is an historic building and there are no lifts. We're glad we decided to have dinner at the hotel because the food was very good and gave us a few ideas to attempt at home. The restaurant has a serious cheese board that is highly recommended.

Blast the Arctic Outpost AM radio and drink an espresso. The rooms are very cool and lovely and artistically decorated. Also, clean and cozy. The area is very close to that enormous Saturday flea market, so don't plan on sleeping in on Saturday morning. We had a lovely visit. Not the nicest part of town, but it was perfectly fine, Italy isn't scary.

We loved our stay in this hotel. The decor and ambience were fab. We loved the palm court atmosphere in the dining room....it made us feel like Edwardians doing the European Tour, rather than Scots on a budget! The staff were really friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. ||If you are in Turin try it for yourself!

Great location, stylish impeccable bedrooms, well||made bed and tidy room every day. Delicious freshly cooked generous breakfast of your choice, pretty dining room. Very proper genuine Slow Food. Excellent value for money, relaxed atmosphere.

At Christmas eve we had not planned a formal dinner, but we decided at the last minute to go out to eat and chose the restaurant of San Giors hotel that is quite near home.||I was expecting to enter an old, traditional inn, with old furniture and suffused lightning. We found instead a pleasant, bright piace with nice waiters, ready to any request. ||There was no special Christmas menu, but a choice between meal and fish menus, preceded by an amuse- bouche with paté and a refined sauce. ||Everything was good and well-finished; the desserts excellent and the final cost very reasonable. A nice surprise and a place to suggest to friends....
