Modification to review: Following being threatened by legal action for sharing my view on an overpriced and not pleasant culinary experience I have decided to aggiust my vote. Please note to the lady who responded and was more than likely the jolly lady at the cash desk : you need to learn a little bit of humility and customer focus. You have lost a customer and gained someone who will refer this to others.
Original review: Beautiful and caracteristic historical place with classy atmosphere but unfortunately for our visit this was the only plus. Quick service, maybe too quick service at 7 minutes from ordering to bringing the plates. We ordered plin and the grisinopoli. For the plin I expected more. Plainly average, but something not right with the preparation or cooking as they were impossible to digest giving me an acid reflux all afternoon (I do not in the slightest suffer from this). The grisinopoli (€20!!) however was very very disappointing. A very thin slice of veal that was so thick in an unpleasant stodgy coating of grissini and peanuts (not hazelnuts as the taste is completely different). It made me wonder if it had been precooked Such a delusion. As an owner of multiple restaurants I can understand little errors but honestly expected more. The bill however of €55 for a glass of wine (good Barbera well done on that!) plin, grisinopoli 2 overlypriced coffees (€6 for 2) and an astonishing €4 a person for the cooperto is what probably gave me the indigestion. Really really disappointed.

We spent New Years Eve at this fabolous restaurant. The staff made us feel like home the entire night with their care and kindness. The food was delicious. And we were served bobbles to celebrate the midnight together.
Lovely place!

Overall experience was great… of course there are all these same things about neighbourhood and how safe you can feel after sunset. But…
If you are considering to order meal to hotel - think twice. I did not see any poster that “you CAN’T eat in room”. So I had to finish my pizza outdoors ok street.
There are no tables for such situations - you can choose between sitting on the street or find some kind of improvised shelf.

The hotel may not be in the best neighbourhood of Torino but it is well located. The idea of having different designers and artists design each room is a lot of fun. Staff are extremely helpful. One thing to note - the hotel is an historic building and there are no lifts. We're glad we decided to have dinner at the hotel because the food was very good and gave us a few ideas to attempt at home. The restaurant has a serious cheese board that is highly recommended.

Great value and located about 10min walk to centre. Not the nicest location but convenient and a few free parking spots out the front. Hotel is very clean and lovely. Well decorated. The staff is very helpful and breakfast was delicious!

Blast the Arctic Outpost AM radio and drink an espresso. The rooms are very cool and lovely and artistically decorated. Also, clean and cozy. The area is very close to that enormous Saturday flea market, so don't plan on sleeping in on Saturday morning. We had a lovely visit. Not the nicest part of town, but it was perfectly fine, Italy isn't scary.

We loved our stay in this hotel. The decor and ambience were fab. We loved the palm court atmosphere in the dining room....it made us feel like Edwardians doing the European Tour, rather than Scots on a budget! The staff were really friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. ||If you are in Turin try it for yourself!
