We stayed here as a family of 4 in the Jungle View Suite. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel itself is very well-maintained and in great shape. The suite itself wasn't that large but it had 3 beds and was big enough for us. The private patio/deck it comes with was very large and well-appointed; we spent most of our time there and it really does feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. The pool was great as well and is well-kept by the staff.||The staff working at the resort are very helpful and friendly, and they really treat their guests with respect and attentiveness. They really seem to enjoy working there and it shows in how they treat their guests. The concierges were very helpful in arranging our transfer from our other hotel and two trips to the airport. They also helped us with different tour bookings, and the guides they selected were the best. (I highly recommend the Tikual tour!). And the Iguana and nigh tours were great as well. ||The hotel is just up the hill from the various restaurants and shops in San Ignacio. Or you can get a taxi to take you where you want to go. ||Really wonderful place overall and a perfect place from which to base your vacation in western Belize from.

We have a very relaxing stay at San Ignacio Resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, had all the amenities needed and the best part was the very soft and comfortable king size bed.||We enjoyed our stay very much, we were able to relax by the pool, enjoyed breakfast every morning before getting our day started and then enjoyed a few cocktails before ending the day. ||The resort has a very relaxing atmosphere to it and we really enjoy staying there. We’ve stayed several times and will definitely be back! 🤗

The service here was amazing. From the moment we checked in until we left four days later, the staff were as attentive and friendly as can be. We can't think everyone enough for making sure we were well taken care of. ||We relied heavily on the concierge desk to advise us on what to do, where to eat etc. and they did a great job of steering us in the right direction, especially with a day trip to Tikal in Guatemala. We're very much do-it-yourselfers when it comes to booking excursions, so it was a leap of faith to let you guys arrange the trip for us, You didn't disappoint! What a great time at Tikal!||We had a couple of glitches with our TV and the room safe, some self inflicted, and the housekeeping folks immediately took care of the problems. That's not a level of attentiveness we'd get back home, that's for sure.||The restaurant and bar didn't disappoint, either. We enjoyed our meals and the happy hour specials immensely.||I'd like to make two suggestions. Neither of these things were a problem for us. Yet, I think they would make a great product even better. One is to get rid of the tennis court. It looks like it doesn't get used much at all. Perhaps replace it with more garden beds, an outdoor bar & patio, or go with something that's wildly popular now like a pickleball court. The other suggestion is to raise the wall between the sink and the shower to help keep the items on the sink dry (or teach clumsy oafs like me how to not splash water onto the sink from the shower).

Pros:|Best place by far to stay in town (by a long shot)! We were pleasantly surprised on arrival by the quality. Very nice room and lobby and pool area. Was an easy walk to town (5 min) and restaurants. We used the pool and tennis court— they provide racquets. Room has a safe.||Cons:|Restaurant was ok— we enjoyed eating in town better. Also, a phone charger was taken from the room on our first day there, so had to buy another one. Other than that, great service with daily water bottles provided.||Would highly recommend!

Our family of five had an amazing time at the San Ignacio Resort. The entire staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Our butler Elito went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and was so knowledgeable about the area. We also had a fantastic tours led by Carlos and Brian and really appreciated our drivers as well. The service was unmatched and I hope to return some day.

Stayed here with family of 4 in the Jungle View Suite. Highly recommend! The hotel is very well-maintained and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful - they clearly enjoy working here and it shows in their service. The suite had 3 beds and a large private patio where we spent most of our time - truly feels like you're in the jungle. Pool is great and well-kept. Staff were excellent at arranging airport transfers and booking tours. The guides they recommended were top-notch (especially the Tikal tour and iguana/night tours). Perfect location just up the hill from San Ignacio's restaurants and shops. Easy taxi access to anywhere you want to go. Ideal base for exploring western Belize.

The San Ignacio Resort Hotel was truly enjoyable. We found the accommodations clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. The food was delicious and plentiful. We experienced three amazing tours with local guides that were arranged by the hotel staff as well. Mayan ruins, river tubing and ATM cave tours were very informative. Thank you to our wonderful guides Renan and Carlos. We appreciated our drivers Cruz and Santos. It was lovely to meet one of the owners, Paulina, and learn the history of the hotel. Highly recommend this lovely place.
