My mom, daughter and I came to the San Jacinto restaurant for a nice meal and get away. However, we were extremely disappointed with our experience at the restaurant. Once we arrived,we received our water right away. The problems began after waiting for over 15 minutes to put in our order where I asked to have my salad brought to me first. After an additional 15 my salad had not arrived. It took 30 minutes to get the salad. It was about 10 minutes after that when our waitress informed us that one of the items we an ordered was no longer available. So a new item was put in to replace the original order.Additionally, she shared that our food order was not delivered to the kitchen. We waited over an hour to get our meal. Once the food arrived we received both the order that we were told was unavailable and the extra new order. When we began to eat, one of the items was overcooked and difficult to cut and eat. When the bill arrived we saw a service charge that we thought should have been waived because we had been there for 2 hours at this point. We spend most of the time sitting and waiting. The waitress was pleasant and friendly with us and understood our frustration. However, the manager was not personable and was very short with us. No complementary dessert or removal of the service charge was made. Even at the end we had to go to the front to pay because the manager never came back to check on us and speak with us about our poor experience. I'm writing this because of the manager's unfriendly manner. He handled this situation very poorly.
