San Juan Islands Sculpture Park & Nature Reserve

I like that this place is free and open to the public. There are a lot of neat sculptures, mostly toward the front. I really enjoyed the fairy garden and miniature buildings. The whimsical woods was... More like a cheap Halloween trail in the day time? The art looked creepy as if it was from a cleaned out antique shop of trash and horrors. The pond trail was cute though, I liked the fish net sheep for example. It is still worth the visit even if not all the art is to your taste. I can say there is something for everyone here.

Great place to stroll and take in the art. We will have to go back when the weather is nicer (Dec 24 a cold and rainy).

So many wonderful sculptures to see and interact with at the park. Easy to spend hours at the park not only viewing sculptures but also enjoying birding in the various habitats within the park. And the Staff does a really great job maintaining the grounds.

Beautiful, tranquil outdoor space with unique sculptures and poems. We only had about 30 min, so didn't see the whole park. I would estimate that one could easily spend several hours enjoying the art and grounds.

Know before coming that this is pretty much just a huge area with several paths to stroll around and look at various sculptures in nature. Young children will probably get bored. If you’re looking for a great place to unwind and relax, this will be your jam! I was actually surprised just how many art pieces there were and just how long the walk was. By no means do you need to see the whole place, but if you do, you’ll get a fantastic little workout in. I’m not a poetry guy, but loved all the little poems displayed from local residents. Especially all the ones from school-aged children. Some really good work here and I couldn’t stop reading! Parking and entry are free, however a $5 donation is recommended and I would say the time you will spend here will be worth far more than just $5.

A lovely place to walk and see interesting pieces of art. Really enjoyed this place. Wish for a few benches to be able to sit a bit and enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful park to wander. Lots of paths mean you can explore as long or short as you like. The art varies in style, media and inspiration. Great spot for hummingbirds and butterflies in spring and summer, along with baby waterfowl in the pond. Entry is with suggested $5 donation.

My family and I visited this park twice. It was well maintained, quietn peaceful and full of great shots for the photographers we had with us.
