San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

Let me start by saying that this is a beautiful waterfront property in the heart of Condado along a beautiful beach. The hotel does need some updates and is under construction (which was not reflected on their website) so we arrived to the hotel with a lobby/pool bar being completely renovated. I understand that hotels need to maintain themselves but I wished they had reflected that on their site so we knew what we were getting into. ||Our room was upgraded to a suite which was spacious and had enough room for my family. Though the room only had to full beds vs queen sized which made for a cozy sleep with my husband. ||Overall, I would definitely return to this property - once they complete renovation of course. The staff were friendly and courteous. We loved their breakfast buffet each morning and the amazing staff their who greeted us happily each day.

My fiance and I just got back last week from a 2 week stay at this hotel and it was a very upsetting experience. On our second day there, the housekeeper came in to clean our room and stole the 2 stuffed animals we had with us! Both stuffed animals have extreme sentimental value and I've had them for many years. They assured me that nobody would steal them but they were gone right after housekeeping cleaned our room when we came back in. I'm very upset about it and did not expect this kind of thing to happen at a 5 star hotel especially when I spent close to $6,000.00 on my hotel stay. They said they opened an investigation into it but I still haven't heard anything back about where the stuffed animals are or if they plan to question and reprimand the housekeeper and I'm sure I'll never hear back anything about it. ||Also the pool bar was under construction the entire trip and a portion of the pool closed off because of that. Noisy construction was kind of annoying but I understand that happens.||The front desk staff were very nice and the ocean was nice and warm but the 3 young male staff members who you tip to put up your beach chairs and umbrellas were so rude despite people tipping them well. On more than a few days we heard and saw them making fun of guests who were in the water and laughing in their faces when they walk by. They laughed at people if they tripped in the sand or cracked jokes about how guests were dressed. They were too immature to work as staff at that resort in my opinion. Quite a few guests said the same things that I'm saying about them and were very upset about it.||Oh and the first room they gave us smelled so badly like mold and mildew that they immediately switched my room once they smelled it for themselves. The replacement room was much better but all of these things made what should have been a nice vacation into a disappointing experience. I rarely ever complain about a hotel stay because I am not picky but this place really disappointed me, especially being robbed by housekeeping the first time they clean my room.

The service was absolutely great here. My person was Kevin, and he made sure my stay was amazing and the job was well done. The bedrooms are very roomy and clean. The grounds are well kept, and the staff was very attentive. The beach is beautiful from a distance but the water and waves at this beach were too rough. I wasn't a fan of the beach. Only because it seemed so dangerous how rough the waves were. The lounge area was a great vibe. Although I couldn't enjoy the water at the beach. I did, however, enjoy beach lounging.

Very nice resort on a great beach. Has all the amenities needed, even a great gym (where some places lack). The pool and beach facilities are perfect. The staff is super helpful and courteous. I think this is the best aspect of the hotel. Housekeeping is great. Having coffee, juice and cookies in the lobby is a plus. They were undergoing some remodeling in the lobby but that was okay - they were improving the property. |Only drawback was seemed there were quite a few loud and a noxious guests on the property and by the pool, but this isn’t the resort’s fault.

I can not say enough nice things about this place… top notch service all around. The staff is super friendly and always compliments you and tells you to enjoy the day. The beach crew are THE BEST always there to set up chairs and umbrellas you. The beach was so hot they brought around ice pops and ice cold minty washcloths to cool off with. I’ve never experienced this in my life. There are also so many activities by the pool for all ages. I was here last year for 3 nights and this time 5 nights. The only bad thing I will say is there is A LOT of renovations going on right now. They are improving for the future but it was a little noise and a few inconveniences. I will def be back in the future!! Thanks all around for a great 5 nights.

This place is a dream! I love how they offered salsa classes in the morning. I would just finish my food and dance! The food was delicious and service we received in their shop was amazing. They made sure you were helped. Massage that I booked felt so relaxing. Everyone that works there is kind and caring. Would definitely come back.

The hotel had a few areas in contraction, but it was beautiful time there. the customer service was amazing from everyone the casino in the hotel was great pool was amazing hot tub too. you will enjoy a private beach they offered chairs and umbrella towels

We LOVED this Hotel, it was amazing! Right as you’re walking in, you can tell you’re going to have a great experience! And indeed we did! Everything was AMAZING! And if we go back to Puerto Rico we will stay here again! You all need to book this hotel you’ll love it 😍 The views, the pool and beach awh I just loved everything 🥰 The people at the check in/out are so nice too! So willing to help!
