We were there before 18pm so it was quiet beginning but atmosphere was cozy (we sit down the terrace) and fish was so delicious. Especially Bacalao was reminded of Mom's dish!! And, way of wine 🍷 was so special. They brings a bottle and serve yourself and they measure how much we drank with their eyes and charge for that. We love it how they do !!!

What a find! Authentic Ibiza cuisine just 5 minutes walk from water front. Food was super delicious, portion sizes generous. Prices cheap, stick with dishes of the day for best bargain. Our order of 1 starter, 3 mains, 2 desserts and 9 glasses wine came to €50. The staff very attentive and made for a lovely, friendly tavern style hospitality. It's cash only, and the menu Spanish only though the chap at front does go through it with you. None of this should put you off though. I will definitely be coming back! 😋

Basic food, with very average quality. Calamares quite chewy, fries full of oil, dressing for plates seems to be out of the supermarket package. You can see on one of the pictures a neighbor table and how much food was left over by some folks when they left, so seems we where not the only ones surprised by the quality. Additionally service is not welcoming, the waiter who was attending our table gave impression like he was obliged to be there. Wine of the house poor, in general I'd recommend to look for other place and I'm surprised people queue there for so long to get in. To sum up average prices for very average food.

I really like the restaurant. It has a friendly ambience with great value to the price. I went there for dinner by myself. Despite the language barrier, the restaurant staff / perhaps the owner recommended me the dish. It is tasteful, great value for money. I was carelessly enough not to notice that the restaurant accepts only cash and I forgot to bring cash. The owner (I assume he is) allowed me to go back to my hostel to bring the cash back without holding any of collaterals of mine,Just said, “ I will wait for you till 12am.” As i came back in 10min, he was surprised to see my appearance. He asked me if I wanted to try local strong liquor after I paid my bill. We took a shot together. The dinner with the glass of wine is 12 Euro, freshly made, plus the owner’s hospitality really makes it a memorable night of my stay in Ibiza. The decor is filled with history! Totally recommend you to visit it if you are there. :)

If you want to get a sense of how Ibiza must have been before tourism, Bar Sant Joan is the place. It feels a bit like eating in someone's living room—half a century ago. The menu is all about down-home cooking, nothing fancy, but delicious throughout. My favorite was the spinach-and-chickpeas stew. Prices are very low for Ibiza. It's usually full, but you can put your name on a waiting list. Cash only.

I don’t know why this restaurant was a trip advisor choice previously and also we had to wait for half an hour to get a table. Surprisingly they did not have English menu. The food was normal and nothing special, we took salmon dish with fries and salad. They just offer bottle drinks and no homemade drinks like lemonade or so on. The toilet was super small and dirty which is not a good condition for a restaurant.

Deep in the old town among the bustle and windy streets you can't help stumble upon this place. You've probably walked past it many times and as it fits so nicely in with the environment it becomes a really pleasing restaurant to dine in. So, we first went here because we wanted something traditional, local, relaxed and good value and we definitely got it! The service, firstly, was amazing. Attentive, polite and professional. We never waited for anything, menus, drinks, the bill....expect to be treated well and feel comfortable and relaxed. The food is plentiful and the variety is amazing. Tapas, pizza, and traditional dishes are all there. Don't let the variation put you off. Both times we visited we tried a range of items, admittedly we ordered a little too much but we had to try as much as possible. I ordered prawns in garlic oil, scallops, padron peppers, croquettes, bravas, outputs Ibiza style and Iberian ham...for two and it was huge! Now this wasn't a gourmet style of meal, it was a relaxed, lingering, people watching kind of meal best served with a litre of sangria. So the food is lovely and worth the reasonable price of less than €60 for everything (Inc drinks). As mentioned the service was quick and efficient. The venue is bang in the shopping district and it's just buzzing with life and atmosphere. I'm not even sure I took any photos I was so swept up in the vibe but if I did I'll add them. If you're wandering around shopping, and you stumble upon this place, sit down, take a break and enjoy all it has to offer, you'll appreciate it!

Good solomilo, great tortilla. Loved the chips. Wasn't a fan of the gambas though. Portions are generous. Great value for money.

Yelp
Food was excellent! Luciana and the entire crew here is great. The Dorada fish was perfect. I highly recommend this local restaurant when you are in Ibiza.

Yelp
Great food! We are the calamari, salmon & lamb chops. They were all delicious. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Definitely not worth the wait. Plain food (I ordered the pork), service not the best (menus only in Spanish), no coffee available after dinner, beers were served in cans... Just wasn't what I expected... Others ordered calamari and said it treated great. Prices are very good though

Yelp
Yummmmm!! Perfect local spot for ecologically sound and deliciously simple meals!! The gazpacho was amazing, the house made embutidos were great and the grilled lamb chops were to die for!!! Community tables, excellent "postres" and unassuming beauty! SOLD.
