San Luis Obispo Public Market (SLO)

Love this place already! It's got a relaxed vibe that's super family friendly. Feels like a Hallmark movie. We came on a road trip stop and so glad we we did. I love that they have a little play space for the kiddos. The items were a bit worn and felt sticky but a good size selection otherwise. Our food was robust with flavors (sweet, savory, herby, etc.), though a bit on the salty side. There was TONS of seating at the time we came. Looking forward to coming back here! ❤️

Awesome test kitchen/cafeteria with so many different choices. From pizza to Asian food, poke bowls to tacos and chicken sandwiches to brewery. This is a great place to go with a group and let everyone pick their own thing. You can eat outside or sit inside on a rarer rainy or cold day. This is a really cool place.

We stopped by this spot on our road trip to LA since it’s just a 2-minute walk from a Tesla Supercharger station. The location was much larger than expected, with a beautifully designed outdoor terrace. Inside, we tried the carbonara and a chicken sandwich. While the prices were on the higher side, the quality definitely made up for it. The variety of options was impressive—boba shops, ice cream, Chinese and Italian restaurants, and even a bar. Oh, and if you’re planning to order the chicken sandwich from Jay Bird’s, make sure you can handle spicy food! Their extra spicy option includes ground ghost peppers and jalapeños, so think carefully before diving in. If you’re on a road trip, this is a fantastic place to take a break and recharge, both your car and yourself!

There are so many restaurant choices and a great pub/bar/distillery. You can get anything from pizza, tacos, burgers, chicken, bao buns, ice cream, to the juice bar or Bangkok Thai food at Baht. You can even work out at the gym or get your hair done. There’s a lot of parking although on really busy days you may have to circle a minute. There is indoor and outdoor seating. A nice walking area between businesses. You can also enjoy a sit down breakfast or lunch at kitchen and vine in the back corner. I like what they did with this corner of San Luis!! I’ve been several times to try the different offerings and have never been disappointed. California Tacos in SLO Public Market was really nice!

Do you have a family with eclectic tastes? Is it hard to find 1 spot that pleases everyone? Well wander into SLO Public Market becaise they have everything. Baht Thai is 🔥 we eat a lot of Thai & this place calls to us...delicious no matter what you order. Ask for extra Baht sauce...yum! There is soo much to choose from: Thai, Bao buns, Italian, deli, hot chicken, poke, coffee, ice cream, oysters, beer, wine, tacos...they have it all w/plenty of indoor & outdoor, open seating.

What else can I say about this San Luis Oasis? It’s fantastic! I’ve only a few photos of two or three places in this massive food area. I love when we stumble across high end food courts like these, with dozens of places to eat and drink. There are so many different ethnic options. There is coffee and ice cream and beer and wine. If you can’t find something here to satisfy you, you need to rethink your life!

We stopped her for the Tesla chargers but ended up eating on a beautiful deck! Lots of food options and lovely spot to get out and walk and get some grub:)

Got the best Beef, Shrimp, and Cod juicy tacos at Todo Buenos/All Good grills upstairs with a nice view. Also got Thai Tea with boba and 30% sweet from the back of main floor at Sequel, which is also really good too. Friendly customer service. Nice atmosphere.
