San Nicolas Resort Hotel

THE BEST HOLIDAY I HAVE EVER HAD! Rooms, Service, Location, bathing area's, beach bar, hotel bar, Food, hotel swimming pool, and the most beautiful dining deck ; all just absolutely OUTSTANDING. And the actual beach at the hotel is very select, NOT overcrowded, and there is NOT A YOB IN SIGHT! I think a premium place like this prices the yobs out thankfully. The manager is ubiquitous and fields anything untoward. Take some bread sticks to the sea with a snorkel, so you can feed beautiful silver fish from your hand. The water is clear as Gin, and the Service is quite frankly THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD, and so a SPECIAL HUGE THANK YOU TO THE HOTEL STAFF named : TAMARA, PARIS, EFFIE, AND NIKOLAS, ...YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST. Effie, you're a star. Thank you all so much for working so hard to make our holiday THE BEST EVER. We will definately return some time and cannot recommend it highly enough. Having said that I think I SHOULD HAVE SAID "don't go there!" otherwise it will become too well known and too populated, and the fact that this hotel is so select is its strength. In short; forget the rest of Greece, and the rest of Lefkada...EVERYTHING you need for the holiday of a lifetime is right here at San Nicolas Hotel.

This was a return trip to the San Nicolas (our previous trip to Lefkada and the SN Resort was in 2019). We loved it our first time; and this time was even better! It looked as if the resort had gotten not just a refresh (which, in truth, wasn't needed, but it really shines now) but also an upgrade. The stone swimming platforms (which in truth are the absolute best part of a really lovely hotel) are now supported by enough terraces so it seems all guests, even if they chose to plop down on sunbeds for the entire day, could do so without worrying that they are depriving other guests of spots. The "beach bar" staff is fantastic and the menu is plentiful and delicious. Our front desk greeter, Jenny, is a delight and nothing was too much trouble for her. Our room was comfortable, light-filled, spacious and cool (strong A/C, thankfully!). We didn't spend any time in the pool (the ocean exerted too strong a pull for us to resist), but it looked immaculate and refreshing. Breakfast spread was varied and tasty. Extremely well priced for the value. Would be happy to come back over and over again - this place is a gem!!

Had an amazing stay at this brilliant hotel, definitely hope to be back. Hotel was great, very comfortable and impeccably clean. Great choice of food and drink, loved the buffet breakfast and different options for lunch and supper. Pool divine and location could not have been better. Sun loungers by the sea were perfect, what a view and gorgeous clear water with great snorkelling. We had two great boat days, good value and given some great local restaurant recommendations, icing on the cake was spotting dolphins on one of the days. It really is a great hotel, good value, easy to get to and felt very spoiling. Special thanks to Joanna, Katharina and Juliano. Would book again in a flash, cannot recommend enough!

Lovely hotel. Staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic with easy access to a couple of fantastic tavernas. Fantastic swimming from the pontoon or the lovely swimming pool. No hesitation in recommending this resort hotel.

We are delighted that we have found such a gem with this hotel, we stayed for 3 nights and loved every moment. The room was large with a lovely comfy bed. The staff were excellent and very attentive they couldn't do enough for us.|The food was excellent, breakfast was tasty and tempting and eating at the restaurant I would highly recommend especially the feta doughnuts.|My only criticism is that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and most people like a cup of tea when you wake up, especially with the views from the bedrooms.|Overall it was a lovely few days a d we can't wait to be back.

A dream location, with a beautiful private beach. Family friendly facility, however very quiet and peaceful. The restaurant provides a feel of eating on a cruise ship, so you don’t want the romantic evening to end! Very spacious rooms and extremely large and comfortable beds. Outstanding breakfast with daily varying homemade offerings. Friendly and competent staff will make you want to stay for ever! My only recommendation will be to add coffee and tea service in each room.

This small 25-room boutique hotel is located in a stunning location on Lefkada. The road to get in/out is challenging, however, well worth the trip.|The staff was very nice and unobtrusive in their daily activities. The views are absolutely priceless! A couple of beautiful pools, lounge chairs, umbrellas and tiers leading to the beach and sea. Food was very good, including the delicious breakfast. Our room was spacious, comfortable, great A/C, a private patio with lounge chairs. You could walk down the hill to a few little tavernas for a change of menu, and scenery. We didn't take advantage of paddle boards, kayaks or other rentals.

Lovely modern small hotel in a great location, with plenty of sunbeds around two pools and a superb shoreline patio area with a beach bar. Staff very friendly.|Advisable to have a hire, remote location.|Breakfast great. Food in the evening good high quality but about twice the price than nearly equally good local tavernas with lighting so you can see your food! 100€ for cheaper two course meal, wine and two drinks at the hotel; 52€ for the same with more variety. Hotel restaurant almost empty, real shame. Lunch similar.||
