San Nicolas Resort Hotel

We loved this hotel which is set overlooking the most beautiful bay. The highlight was access to the gorgeous crystal clear sea which was perfect for swimming. Decking with sun beds are set into the cliff which does mean quite a lot of stairs but not a bad thing given the quality of the food! The beach bar staff - notably Sotos, Theodora and Christian work so hard always cheerful and ensure excellent service. Our rooms were very comfortable with good mattresses and big bathrooms and kept pretty clean. Breakfast was extensive and delicious - only disappointment is the included coffee is really poor and you need to pay extra for anything decent. The only other niggle is that there is only one ladies loo near the pool which was not kept clean enough and there is no loo at the beach bar so it is quite a trek… Due to the steep stairs and open access of the jetty to the sea, this is a hotel more suited to older children and adults. Certainly when we were there it had a very calm, mostly adult ambiance. There are water sports and boats to hire at the end of the jetty but mostly we swam and sat looking at the lovely calm water. Would recommend and hope to return.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Greece! 😍 The view was absolutely breathtaking — the perfect place to relax and enjoy the day. The breakfast was delicious, with a generous variety of fresh and tasty options. Lunch was just as impressive — the dishes looked amazing and tasted even better! What truly made the stay unforgettable was the staff: incredibly friendly, helpful, and always present when you needed anything. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Greece. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish! 🌟

Our stay at the San Nicolas was absolutely exceptional and undoubtedly one of the best holidays we have had. We stayed in the hotel itself in a room which was spacious and well-equipped with a large balcony and sea view. The opportunities for swimming were fantastic, with easy direct access to the sea and an excellent pool. There were plentiful areas for relaxing by the water with comfortable sunbeds and staff always on hand to bring drinks or snacks from the beach bar.|Undoubtedly the best thing about the experience was the staff - every single member of staff we encountered was without exception friendly, smiling and helpful. They all seemed genuinely happy in their work and eager to ensure all guests were comfortable. Although it seems unfair to single out anyone, we were particularly impressed by the friendliness, care and helpfulness of Jenny, Christian and Sotos.|Thank you to everyone at the San Nicolas - we can't wait to return!

Fantastic location overlooking the Rouda Bay. The staff is amazing! Extraordinary and very friendly! Rooms have a perfect view overlooking the bay. Very calm and peaeful place! Stayed here for a 7 days relaxing holiday with my partner. Fantastic location, with clear blue water to swim in alongside the fish. It didn't feel overcrowded, and never needed to race to get a sunbed. The staff were very friendly, polite and welcoming. Food was lovely, good breakfast selection and drinks. The swimside activities to rent such as paddle boards really added to the experience. Couple of small things that could be improved. The first were the cocktails. I understand the staff were not trained in this, but given this is a 4-star, I would have expected the resort to ensure a trained member of staff was available. I had two cocktails during my visit, both were disappointing and I didn't order again. I didn't appreciate not being able to use the fridge in the room (unless I paid for the mini bar). This didn't feel welcoming and meant we couldn't fully chill some items we brought. The beach bar didn't sell small snacks such as crisps, biscuits or peanuts. Not a big issue, but given we couldn't bring outside food into this area, there were times I fancied something small, but the bar menu only catered to larger meals. Meaning I had to return to my room to get a snack. Also, a suggestion would be to add signs about tissue paper in the bin in the rooms, as were didn't realise this was the case until we asked reception. Overall, we did really enjoy our stay, and would absolutely return.

Extremely clean and friendly family run place in a stunning setting above the bay. Huge and quiet sundeck on a little beach and a big pool to relax. Greek breakfast with all you with for. We had a nice room with huge terrass and a jacuzzi. Beautiful few from there too. If to find one downside, there's no coffee making facility in the room. Rekommend highly to have wheels. Only a small store and some restaurants in the village.

We weren’t staying at Hotel San Nikolas in Lefkada, but we spent a lot of time at their beautiful beach and enjoyed their delicious food. Katherina, Sotos, Edman (I hope I got the names right), and the rest of the team were incredibly kind and always there to help us with anything we needed. The service was quick, the beach was beautifully arranged, the food was flavorful, and the view — simply breathtaking.🥹😍 We’re also very grateful for the opportunity to rent a boat directly from the hotel — it was truly an unforgettable experience!🛥️🤍 Thank you so much for your hospitality — we had a wonderful time and hope to come back again!🇬🇷🫶🏻

San Nicolas is a top resort. It is in a spectacular setting with multi level facilities from the beach bar right up to the restaurant. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Special mentions to the amazing Jenny (who seemed to be everywhere) as well as Valentina and Denis.
