You can purchase tickets on site or online. One way or round trip tickets are available. You can start lining up and boarding 15 min prior to departure. Trip from Belize City to Caye Caulker is 1 hour, the. An additional 30 min to San Pedro.

I would rather get on this….than a puddle jumper plane. It was smooth both ways. I also received my bag in 1 piece lol. Plenty of seats and it did leave at the time of departure. Started raining on our way back and it was still a decent ride. 1.5 hour from Bze to San Pedro

Took the Chetumal ferry to Caye Caulker. The boat is comfortable enough, and quick. Issues are NO WATER AVAILABLE (don't forget to bring your own), the ferries are always behind schedule, and no restrooms on the boat.

Very busy port day. Multiple ships in the same port. Required water tender which was fun by itself. Great little city and nice port.

Came with a group. The guys that work baggage claim are as efficient as they can be with people yelling at them from all angles and the most inefficient system of unloading. But there was absolutely someone underneath with the luggage on the way back from San Pedro + Caye Caulker to Belize City and they were rummaging through peoples bags. My lock was tampered with though not able to be opened. One person from my group had all of their shoes stolen. Several other people’s bags were unzipped after going onto the boat zipped and secured. If you can, book elsewhere til they figure out their thief issue.

If you're on a timeline, strongly reco booking your own water taxi. It's worth the extra cost. Going from Belize City to Caye Caulker there was some confusion with our two tickets, but the gal was friendly enough and eventually got it sorted. Pleasant enough experience. Coming back was wild. We thankfully arrived quite early. Very large line at the ticket/check in counter already. Waited about 15 minutes to get to the window. Then a whopping 25 minutes at the window, even though i handed her our printed email confirmations with confirmation code, today's date and 1030am ferry time confirmed. Somehow, she still could not verify our tickets. She had to call the mainland then wait for somebody to call her back, yadda yadda, as the ferry was boarding we just made it on time. There were only two ticket windows so the massive line behind us was even slower moving as we stood there waiting at the second window for 25m. Made it on board, huge relief as we are en route to the airport. Get landside. Cargo unloads. My bad is not there. Apparently they often times cannot accommodate all baggage, so they send it on a next boat. This place is not worth the stress if you need to catch a next ferry or get to the airport. Either book a personal water taxi or plan to take the ferry 2 before the latest time that you need to arrive by. Beautiful ride itself though. Comfy seats, nice staff, great views out.

Before I ever travel with these people again, I’ll build a raft out of coconuts and swim there myself. The 5-star reviews? Yeah, clearly written by themselves or by staff forced to post them. The reality couldn’t be further from that — rude, arrogant, and completely disrespectful to tourists. We bought the tickets online, where it clearly says they’re only valid for a specific day and time. We arrived an hour early, queued like anyone else, and still got passed over while they let a bunch of others cut in front without any explanation. When we asked for a refund so we could go with the other company (just across at the other terminal), they just said they never refund anything. And that’s when the arrogant attitude really kicked in — condescending looks, dismissive replies, and absolutely no attempt to help. The result? We arrived two hours late to Caye Caulker and lost our hotel because the lady who was supposed to receive us couldn’t wait. We had to find and pay for another place last minute. Even if it were free, I wouldn’t go with them again.

I paid $30 to get here via taxi from BZE and then another $30 for the water taxi to San Pedro. For another twenty bucks I could have taken the 15 minute plane flight on Tropic or Maya Air! But it was an adventure driving into Belize City and riding on the boat for a couple hours... No complaints, just make the right choice for you!
