Incredibly unprofessional host. We lost power (so no AC) for our entire 5th night of our stay, and the next morning we also lost water while I was mid shower. When I walked to front desk with shampoo in my hair and asked what the issue with the water was, hoping for a solution, the front desk guy literally laughed and threw his arms up and shrugged. I had to go through Airbnb to get refunded for a night of my stay, and then the host who said he wanted to "greatly apologize" for the rude staff...later wrote me a guest review calling me "very demanding." Lol. We never even spoke prior to the brief resolution of those issues on the final night, so I know I wasn't a "demanding" guest. We were quiet, cleaned up after ourselves, and never once even spoke to the staff until the final day when I asked what was going on with the water. Because his staff didn't really acknowledge me, I mostly dealt with Airbnb, and not even the host directly...so "very demanding" coming from someone I had such a brief exchange with was clearly not accurate. In his message he was sooo apologetic (trying to get a good review from me,) mind you guests can't see hosts reviews until the guest review is already published, so his intention was to seem apologetic until after my review was published, and only then would I see his negative review of me in retaliation for having to refund the night of our stay that was spent with no power/AC and the morning without water. I visit San Pedro 10+ times a year to see my boyfriend and am returning in a few weeks, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
