San Pietro di Castello

It was a lovely non-touristic part of venice! Quiet, dark. I went to a festival that was very easy to find since the island is so small and the festival was very locally focused. If you go to the san pietro festival get there early if you want the food because there will develop a long line bit the food is good. Just good local vibes. The water transport was efficient to get back to mainland venice or fondamente nove though I heard from someone that later in the night the water taxi only runs one per hour.

Place there See of Venetian Patriarch was situated till XX century. Alas, all original interiors were killed by reconstructions of XVI - XVIII centuries. Now this is the kingdom of Baroque inside. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light. You need to buy a ticket to get in.

É stato bello fare concerto e cantare qui. Atmosfera davanti nel parco bella, posto tranquillo e si respira vera Venezia, senza flussi turistici esagerati

Che dire, non è una chiesa da 5 stelle rispetto alle analoghe di Venezia, ma abbiamo numerose opere specie nella parte absidale, e la facciata su progetto di Andrea Palladio. Questa era la Cattedrale di Venezia! E mantiene il campo frontale, proprio come campo senza lastricato. Qui si vive e si sente ancora l’atmosfera tipica veneziana non ancora totalmente contaminata dal flusso turistico. Sedetevi su una panchina e ascoltate il silenzio !

Questo luogo è uno dei più caratteristici della Venezia ancora abitata dai veneziani. Spazio autentico e ricco di storia e di umanità. Chi vuol conoscere la città non invasa dai turisti deve venire qui, trascorrere un po' di tempo tra le calli, distendersi sull'erba del campo davanti alla chiesa e sognare a occhi aperti. A fine giugno la sagra è immancabile.

Superschöne, ruhige kleine Insel mit tollem Glockenturm, von dem um 19:30 Uhr ein wunderschönes Glockenspiel erklingt.

Besser am Vorabend von Rendentoro besichtigen. Die Brücke steht dann schon zur Verfügung
