San Vicente Galapagos Hotel

Large rooms but small bathrooms. Pretty good wifi and hot water in the rooms. Breakfast is very simple and may not be enough if you eat a large breakfast. The main outdoor area is nice to hang out as a group. The hot tub is not always filled, apparently you need to give an hour's notice that you want to use it, and it is only available for use between 7-8pm 🤷‍♀️ location is good and service was fine. If we were to return we would likely stay here again for the price.

I stayed here for 3 nights as part of an organised tour. The main town on Isabella island is small, and the hotel is in a good location. The setting is very nice, there is a courtyard and the rooms are around that. The staff were super friendly and mostly spoke good English.||My room was on the basic side and a little small, but it was ok. The bed was comfortable enough, it was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was also a bit small, but there was hot water in the shower which was the main thing. The wifi worked well in both my room and the communal areas. I used their laundry service, it was cheap and they did a good job.||Breakfast each day was table service rather than a buffet, we were given fruit, yogurt & granola, some carb (either bread, pastries, or pancakes), and eggs. I usually prefer buffets, but given the hotel was small I understand they do it this way to reduce waste. On one of the days we were given a chicken rice packed lunch for a hike, it was pretty good.||Overall a very cute hotel with friendly staff, if you're on a budget I would recommend you stay here.

A rustic laid back hotel. Room was very basic. No safe in the rooms. Shower didn't run well. It has a lovely courtyard area to sit & relax in. There are clothes lines to use at the back of the courtyard. Breakfast was simple & plentiful. It's a nice walk from the hotel to the restaurants & the beach.

Another poor intrepid hotel. None of the windows are sealed in the room so it’s so noisy. Room 2 the bathroom sink didn’t drain, had groups of people outside and above moving chairs and shouting until late. No lamps on the room. Despite hanging the towels up they were changed everyday a total waste of water. Room 2 is so noisy and I must have killed 40 ants, on a night it was swarming with ants, smelt so badly of damp. Bathroom so small you struggle to close the door, didn’t bother with breakfast as found nowhere does vegan breakfasts. The bed was ok but hard so it hurt my hip. Well located but really run down, noisy and just shabby,

First room we received had a rotten apple in the wardrobe with ants and bugs on it. The sheets were stained as were the towels. Our second bedroom wasn’t much better. Stains on sheets and pillow covers. Bathrooms don’t have hot water for washing your face. I wore sandals in the shower. The jacuzzi was not operational. Breakfast was fine but not expansive. Would not recommend. We came with a tour and had this not been where the tour was staying we would’ve left immediately.

He recommended great places to eat.||Location: |Good- a short walk to the beaches and bike rental is across the road and another down the road. Lots of restaurants nearby. ||Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Worth noting- this was the only place we stayed or company we used in Ecuador where they did not ask us to write a review.

Excellent accommodations. A budget friendly hotel with basic accommodations. We stayed here for three nights ||Pros:|- spacious rooms|-clean|- lots of water pressure in shower|- lots of hot water|- soap and shampoo provided (bring your own conditioner and body lotion)|- clean towels provided|- clean sheets|- room cleaned each day. |- proactive staff. A travel agent organized our Galapagos trip and our hotel staff knew our itinerary. They would check in with us each day to review the next day’s plans and ensured we were prepared for what to bring for the excursions. |-breakfast included (yogurt, bread, eggs, fruit, coffee, fruit juice)|- walking distance to beach and restaurants |- close to bike rentals|-clean drinking water available to refill water bottles |- garden area with lots of tables and chairs||Cons: none||Tip: ask for a room upstairs so you can hang clothes on balcony to dry and it’s away from the entry = quieter.||We had a very positive experience here and are very greatful to the staff for their hard work!

This is a very nice hotel in Isabella. Our room was big and the beds were comfortable. it was very clean and the service was excellent. They were very good about keeping out luggage safe while we went on an excursion. The breakfast was plentiful and satisfying. A very good value for money. It is also centrally located and has a lovely garden/patio
