SANA Berlin Hotel

Some reasons to love this hotel: 1. The room has really nice contour lighting, creates a cozy, subdued atmosphere. 2. The rooms are very spacious, bigger than the usual hotel room size. 3.The service and staff are excellent. They always try to find the best and most convenient solution, and they really did their best to make my stay comfortable. 4.Nice breakfast (€25, served until 10:30 AM). 5.There is a small gym open 24/7, and a pool + sauna open until 11 PM (adults only). 6.Parking is available (€25 per day). Some cons: • The sauna is not well maintained and it’s not hot enough. It needs better temperature regulation. • The hammam: the light doesn’t work, it needs maintenance, and it has an unpleasant smell. I DON’T recommend the premium room. It has a tiny balcony that I didn’t need, but it takes away space from the room. As a result, you get a smaller room, a smaller shower, and a very small balcony that doesn’t even have a nice view. Also, the sliding wardrobe door blocks the bathroom, which is quite inconvenient. Overall, the room feels smaller and worse designed.

This was my second time staying at the SANA and it was just as I remembered it. It’s a beautiful hotel and the staff can’t do enough for you. We loved the €10/day to spend at the bar/restaurant if you opted to not get your room cleaned. The deserts were 10/10 and beautifully presented. My only complaint is the pillows. I didn’t sleep well at all as they are awful. They’re not solid, they’re like baggy rolled up pieces of material in a sack. Really disappointing and it probably would stop me going back as I was so tired the whole trip. That’s my only issue though! Everything else was perfect. I also have an SLS allergy and all their toiletries were sulphate free which made things a lot easier!!

One of the best hotels we have been to in Berlin. The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond when it comes to service. The rooms are well equipped and clean. The wellness and fitness amenities are great as well. In terms of location an U-Bahn station is across the street and Kurfürstendamm and the KaDeWe are within walking distance. If you’re looking for a hotel in Charlottenburg this definitely is one worth looking at.

The room has the loud noise of traffic throughout the night from the busy road outside, and it’s unbearably hot and stuffy without any way to seemingly cool it down. Really awful night sleep. The spa is barely existent - a sauna with a glass door that has a cold draught coming through so it’s unable to remain hot, and a pool that’s not much bigger than a bath. Really not worth the money, much better value hotels close by. Avoid.

It is a very great hotel. The staff is ultra service minded. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous. Well made and with good variety. We only have two things that in our opinion could have made the stay worth the fifth star was: the spa/pool water was so cold.🥶 And the hall with the bar/breakfast was also a constant cold environment. Lobby bar (cocktails recommended) 6. Underground parking from hotel -: 1. There is really no space to place your cloth. There are one shelf and two chairs. If you are staying with someone else - be prepared to have your clothes in the suitcase on the floor. 2. If you are traveling with friend - be prepared to see this person naked and also on the toilet. There is a door that slides between shower and toilet. Uncomfortable if traveling with friend.

This was home for a week. Really enjoyed my stay. Beautiful rooms. Friendly and attentive team. Ideal position for exploring the city and a bit of shopping. The little pool and gym facilities are a nice touch. Loved the clean lines and modern design of the rooms. Strong recommendation. Not adding photos, as the website has it all.

Had such a lovely stay at this hotel this week for my fiancé's birthday. We stayed for 3 nights and found the room to be really comfortable with everything we needed. The staff were so polite and check in was quick and easy. The wellness area was a selling point for me, and the location was really convenient without being too close to the busiest parts of Berlin. There was limited noise coming from outside or other rooms, so we both slept really well after long days of walking/sightseeing. The shampoo, soap, shower gel etc. provided in the room claimed not to be tested on animals, which was a positive too.

Improved a lot recently. New pool layout is a huge improvement. You can now get late checkout for €10 per hour.

I've been to many hotels around the globe, but rarely was I so impressed as with the Sana Berlin! The experience starts at the reception desk where the staff is extremely friendly and immediately makes you feel genuinely welcome. The lobby is large and spacious, and the use of coloured glass in combination with dark wood already hints at the modern character of the rooms themselves. These are spacious, very contemporary and absolutely beautiful. Connections for laptops and iPhones are standard, the television is cleverly hidden behind a black glass wall. Big wall size curtains descend from the ceiling at the push of a button and add to the amazing hi-tech feel of the room. The bathroom is perfection. Instead of the usual dark corner, here the stylists used a glass wall and lots of mirrors to add the bathroom to the room, not separate it. The big walk-in rain shower is pure joy! The swimming pool, sauna and gym area are the next surprise. Up on the 7th floor, they have once again ceiling-to-floor windows with a fantastic view of the city. I think we have found our new home-away-from-home in Berlin here!

Nice hotel. Very clean. Good location. We could easily walk to the U Bahn and many restaurants. The shower was very nice, a sort of waterfall effect. I also had a massage while visiting which was lovely. There is a small pool and a sauna. I found the bed to be less than comfortable. That would be my only complaint. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the facilities are very nice. Fairly noisy, you can hear people in the hall when they walk past. But we had earplugs so not really an issue.
