As someone who works in hospitality and on my feet all day, this was one of the stops I felt like I had to go to. Very friendly staff, incredible service from Astrid at reception, and Stella who was one the technicians. From the first meeting, as soon as I mentioned I had a reservation in English, Astrid was able to converse well and give me the details of the packages and how things worked. With Stella while booking a few extra treatments, we were able to have a laugh, especially while facing a little technical issues when trying to book me in.
Everything in terms of food, drinks and packages could be collected on a wristband which acts like a tab rather than needing to sign receipts, which made things so much easier. It also acted as a locker key so very easy to keep everything on there.
There are various packages you can book online, but can also book on the day. I was lucky to book all the treatments (some discounted as a duo package), but if it was busier, would be an idea to book in advance . As well as that, there are some packages on particular days, so if you have a decide to come here as a spot, make sure to see what you like. Additionally, if available, you could book a night stay which is good value. I unfortunately cannot review the rooms and a stay as I only came as part of a day entry, but did see the room price at the time.
The experience was quite private as you are not permitted to take photos and use your phones on waterside, and in the restaurant areas, this is still not permitted, but you may use them for messaging, connecting to the internet and do check ins if required. Things like e-readers that do not have the capability to take photos appear to be permitted based on what I saw and based on the assumed Dutch I could infer.
Finally, you may rent towels for an extra cost if required if you forget yours. You may rent the entire package, but is not necessary, provided you either bring your own or rent one. Flip Flops are required and have to be bought, but considering it's more than likely a health and safety thing as well as a souvenir, the price is decent.
