Sanadome Hotel & Spa Nijmegen

The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, with all amenities in good condition. The service staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. However, the overall experience did not live up to the expectations of a four-star hotel. The spa facilities were extremely overcrowded (especially on Saturdays). I was unable to use the sauna at all; every time I opened the door, it was already full. The same applied to the steam bath and whirlpools. As a result, the spa felt more stressful than relaxing. The outdoor pools were slightly more enjoyable, but overall the spa offering does not justify the price. More saunas are clearly needed—one sauna for the entire spa is insufficient—and there should be a wider range of treatments available. I also missed sound-healing sessions, which are commonly offered in comparable spas. The “worldwide banquet” dinner was underwhelming and did not meet expectations. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but I left with the feeling that the experience did not fully reflect what I paid for.

I've been only to the spa and even if the facilities are beautiful and very well maintained, I found it expensive for the few services they offer included in the price. It's mainly one big indoor and outdoor swimming pool with several big jacuzzi's. There's just one small sauna and hamam for that amount of visitors. That was not nice. No option to sit since everything was full, no chairs available. Shampoo and gel were not offered. Parking is paid.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in September while in Nijmegen on business. On arrival the hotel has a look of a holiday resort and that is a true reflection of this lovely hotel. The hotel is stunning, the check in team were great and provided all the required information and advised me i was in room 335. The room was lovely, very spacious, modern interior and contained everything i needed for my stay. I ate in the restaurant one evening and had breakfast one morning, all food was lovely and again the staff cannot do enough to help. As a guest I also was allowed to use the Spa facilities - this is one of the nicest Spa areas I have ever been in, with some many pools, temperatures, indoor, outdoor it was endless, what an excellent experience. I would stay in this hotel again and have already recommended to others if staying in this area.

We reservated an antistress masage. I can say that Danielle, did the best massage I ever had. She has magic hands, i felt relax and confortable. It was like to be reborn. I truly recomended ✨️

Great time, not too busy on Friday night. Swimming-pool and jacuzzi could be 1-2C warmer. Lovely "A La Carte" dinner. A bit expensive I agree, but we are in The Netherlands.

Fantastic hotel and spa… the thermal space was very relaxing… beautiful indoor/ outdoor bathing pools in a nature setting. There are a variety of pools including 37 degrees, and a 34 degree salt water float pool… both amazing experiences and quite unusual. There was also a salt scrub shower space and 1 sauna/ 1 steam room. The thermal area requires swim suits and robes. Robes and flip flops were included for hotel guests. The focus is more on the thermal waters than the saunas… if I were being picky I would say it would benefit from 2 or 3 sauna cabins in the grounds… there isn’t an 80degree sauna… but you can get hot enough in the 65 degree sauna and the steam room. Kids were allowed in the sauna and steam room. It was mostly adults, but a good option for families. Very nice aesthetic and very relaxed vibe. Dinner was really tasty, high end food. We took desert back to our room. The staff were accommodating and spoke great English. Highly recommend.

There are only a few saunas available, and the dry sauna is extremely small. The sofas in the cafeteria were all wet, which suggests the materials used are not a smart choice for a non-nude spa, especially since that area was noticeably colder than the rest of the facility. There is also only one outdoor thermal pool. Another major downside is the paid parking. I have visited many spas in the Netherlands, and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had.

Everything is pretty good in this hotel except the room housekeeping which is consistently poor. As an example used glasses not removed and replaced , water not replenished , beds not made properly , used towels not removed and replaced , empty bin left on top of the table , room not tidied , curtains not closed. I have stayed here on many occasions and this unfortunately is almost always the case with the room housekeeping. I have raised this before with the hotel but unfortunately nothing changes. The one other gripe I have is that no matter how many times I stay here I am always greeted as a stranger when I return. The lift is over here sir , breakfast is from 7am to 10:30. How about welcome back Mr O'Driscoll , great to see you again ! I would strongly recommended that all housekeeping staff are sent to learn how the major hotel chains carry out their housekeeping. That might improve the situation. Considering the Mercure for my next visit to Nijmegen.

Ok... Staying in this hotel includes also access to the local spa. This spa is mainly known for the pools, and less for its. Saunas. By public transport, approx 20min walk from station nijmegen goffert. What i liked: - friendly staff - spacious rooms with nice view - clean There are various restaurants in the hotel: flow (buffet and breakfast), ninety (a la carte). Food is a bit overpriced and you probably can get better choice in town. I was missing a tea kettle, but guess this is not so common in netherlands. Also, as solotraveller you pay same as two persons for overnight stay.

A wonderful hotel, spa and restaurant. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and every meal felt homemade! The staff was kind and helpful for our entire week stay. We really enjoyed the bikes that you can rent for free and take to the city center! Overall just a quaint and beautiful hotel that as a foreigner made me feel right at home. Thank you Sanadome!
