The accommodation is clean with a beautiful view of the Mekong River. There is a shuttle service from the pier to the hotel, and staff are available to assist with luggage. The staff provide excellent service and pay attention to every detail. Highly recommend staying here. If given the chance, I would definitely return.

We stopped overnight here on a 2-day Mekong cruise. The food was OK, though not special, and the room was a good size and well-equipped. Aside a short water outage (probably not unusual given the location) the overall stay was very good and it is worth staying here simply for the view - particularly the sunset.

Amazing place to stay. One of the greatest views, with a bonus having the elephant park on the other side to see them go into the water. Great rooms as well. The manager and staff have been incredibly supportive in making some personal wishes happen, I can never thank them enough for that. Highly recommend to stay more then one night (which most people coming with the slow boats do).

I stayed here for the overnight break on the long boat to Luang Prabang. I opted to stay for extra nights and was so glad I did. The hotel was lovely and just sitting on my balcony watching the river was a great way to chill. There was stuff to see in the town but mostly it was relaxing. I liked the pool especially the day of the boat races. Breakfast was good and I did a cooking class which was a lot of fun. It’s a quiet place and totally geared towards the overnight boat trade but I can’t suggest enough the extra days were lovely. The staff were helpful while I was there and before I got there helping me arrange my booking. Although there is not much to do in the town it’s a real town I think so the market is for the people that live there not the tourists which is nice. Great spot.

Absolutely fabulous! This is the perfect relaxing stop on the journey along the Mekong river. We had a great sleep here! The staff were very kind and accommodating. The view of the sunset from our balcony was stunning!

Stayed at this hotel one night on our way down the river. It’s a lovely hotel with very nice rooms and good air conditioning. The upstairs dining room is absolutely gorgeous and the food was wonderful as was the staff that served us. The highlight was in the morning when we were having our coffee before we left, we watched elephants come down to the river to drink.

For the price we paid I think it was very good. A few minor issues that the owners might take on… Breakfast was very disappointing. I can see in the town there was a bakery and would have preferred to have gone there. Dinner was fine, but rushed and looks as if the staff were going through the motion… bedroom was good, shower room not so good. However the views were stunning and we overall enjoyed the experience….

Unfortunately we were only here for one night and we would have liked to have stayed longer. The staff were very helpful carrying our luggage off the boat to the awaiting taxi to the hotel. The rooms were well appointed over looking the Mekong River. The evening meal was very nice and the hotel did a takeaway breakfast because of our early start the next day.|I would recommend this hotel in Pakbeng.
