Sand Dollar Beach Bed and Breakfast

We spent 3 nights at Sand Dollar and had a wonderful stay. Mark and Sharon were so helpful in helping us plan our few days in Bocas, from great restaurant recommendations to explaining and booking excursions during our stay. Every morning, we would start our day with the best home-cooked breakfasts and come back in the afternoons/evening to our beautiful room and balcony. They truly wanted our stay to be memorable which it was. Thank you so much for your hospitality and hope we come back soon!

My husband and I had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Sand Dollar! Our second floor room with a large balcony porch had a beautiful view and was a great place to relax at the end of the day. Mark and Sharon were the perfect hosts and we greatly enjoyed our morning conversations over the hearty provided breakfast. The pool was an added bonus as was the opportunity to watch (and hear) the local howler monkeys! Their suggestions from boat tours to beaches were spot-on and we left relaxed and blessed to have had a great get-away!

Sharon and Mark helped us enjoy the island to its fullest. This includes great advice on excursions with the local flare. Avoid the hassle of a large property and get great attention as well as a cold beer and great breakfast Local taxis are easy. Just a dollar to town. Very easy to get around

The Sand Dollar Beach B&B is a true gem in Bocas del Toro! We enjoyed our 7 nights stay there to the fullest and it exceeded our expectations! Sharon and Mark provided us with the best recommendations and were just wonderful hosts. They helped us with organizing everything and made us feel very welcome. Not to forget the excellent breakfast we had every morning, which was cooked by Dama and it was always delicious! The whole property is a paradise itself with a jungle in the backyard (you have to check it out!), a really nice pool area and a beautiful garden. We even got to see monkeys jumping from tree to tree! We were always surrounded by beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies – it felt like we fell straight into a disney movie! :D I'd definitely stay here again! It was absolutely amazing!

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Bocas Del Toro and stayed at the Sand dollar. Kate and Martin were amazing hosts. We loved the breakfast, room and pool. Great place to stay. Would love to bring the whole family next time. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

The Sand Dollar was incredible! We have never stayed in a travel accommodation so clean; everything was absolutely spotless. The AC worked very well and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The pool and the grounds were impeccably maintained. It’s a great location from Bocas town and Bluff beach. We were able to bike to both. The owners also helped us book tours while we were in Bocas which was very helpful. We would highly recommend staying here!

Can't say enough good things about this place. The hosts Sharon and Mark are very kind and knowledgeable about the area. The property is amazing with tons of wildlife and a nice pool. You can spend a day exploring the nature trail and playing in the pool. We saw more wildlife in their backyard than anywhere else during our week in Panama. The rooms are very nice and comfortable with all of the amenities we needed. The breakfast is also very very good. We enjoyed watching the baby hummingbirds in the nest next to our table every morning. Thanks Sharon and Marc!!!! We will be back!!!!

Perfect stay for a family vacation! Can't sing enough praises! Location was great, not too far from town, and also close to good surfing beach breaks. The inn and the grounds are beautiful and well kept, with a lush tropical garden and refreshing pool. Sharon and Mark were wonderful hosts; so kind and helpful in giving us tips for activities, restaurants and transportation. Dama was serene and prepared for us a delicious breakfast to start off our day. Would definitely like to return again one day.
