Unexpectedly for a deli, they make quesadillas - and they're really good!!! They also have the best Blondies. Deli sandwiches are solid, and the staff is super super nice. Busy at lunch for takeout. There are a few tables both inside and outside but we generally get to-go.

My go-to place when I crave for a breakfast burrito. My husband likes the Western Omelette. The carrot cake is decadent, if you are lucky enough to see the slices. I also like their salads. Great staff.

After enjoying being a loyal, daily customer for over 2 & 1/2 years, it is a Sad day! The Owner chose not to accommodate my request to change my lunch order after there was a miscommunication on my order, I offered to come back and pay the difference but unfortunately he told me he would have to charge me full price. It is truly unfortunate that pleasing a loyal customer is not important to him. Regardless of the cost differential he could of fixed my order..It was never about the cost..Just so disappointing. I will NOT be back and I will NOT suggest them to anyone! A big shout out to WENDY and all the girls there, they work so hard and do truly care about the customers! To the Owner, Thanks for not fixing my order and making me go without lunch that day as I was stuck at my desk for 11 hours.

I'm a skeptic sandwich guy....but these guys know what they're doing. They make great Italian combo, Tuscan and "Marvin" sandwiches. The Italian and Marvin were each on a sub roll ( why they call it a "wedge" here I don't know why) and they were delicious. They use a very tasty roll here...fantastic bread with just the right amount of softness yet crunchy. I like the efficiency -- they have a system and the line moves quickly. Prices are quite reasonable. In all, a big thumbs up to Sand Wedge.

Good place for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend the Western Omelette (I get mine with jalapeños) and the breakfast burrito. Sandwiches are really good as well (I recommend The Don). Service is quick, although it can get busy at times during the lunch rush.

The Sand Wedge always seems busy and has generally managed to fill my order in record time. Their deli sandwiches are top notch and have become a weekly go-to. If you go in, order at the back first, pick up/pay at the front register. Better yet, call ahead and minimize your time waiting in this busy deli.

If you ever find yourself anywhere around Redding or Ridgefield on RT 7 between the Merritt and 84, you have to make time for lunch here. I travel around CT a lot for work so I stop at a lot of delis. The Sand Wedge easily has some of the best tasting sandwiches in all of Connecticut. The prices are super economical as most specialty hard rolls are under $7 and to make it a Wedge is only $1 more. You end up spending less than a place like Subway and get a 100x better taste. The drink/chip selection is varied and they have different dessert snacks for a sweet tooth. My first time here I got some grilled cornbread and it was extremely good. I can see myself going out of my way to eat here in the future as the people are really nice too. By the way I got an Old no. 7 on a Wedge which I highly recommend.

Simple, delish, fresh, friendly! Stepped in by mistake, an amazing mistake:)) their chicken soup is 4 times better than Whole food's soup! Will be tasting other things on the menu when in the area. Their FF with deli pickle hit the spot!

First of all they're so rude. Hung up on me while placing a order because he was confused. Over charge every time i go there. My BEC is a different price every single day. They dont know how to treat their customers, wouldn't recommend

Ordered catering from them and it was great!!! Food was excellent, reasonably priced and Wendy knocked it out of the park. Would highly recommend for anyone getting catering around Ridgefield - in particular the Jerk Flank Steak and the Won Ton Bites!

The Sand Wedge is a local institution, a real home-town deli. The sandwiches and wraps are so satisfying we used to sneak out of high school and drive up just to get them...my friends and I will still meet up for reunions there They have a huge variety of custom sandwiches and wraps sporting homemade sauces. There's a good chance somethin you'll like is already on their list, otherwise they'll make it for ya. Highly recommend the Cluckin' Russian, but you really can't go wrong here!

It`s a decent place to grab some food quick, but the quality of the food is medicore and the prices are a bit high. The hot food area could use a few more options and their price per pound specifically needs to come down. My recent small lunch was just under $9. Also disappointing in my visits here are the poor customer service from both the order taker and even more so from the female cashier in her 40s, she is not nice. So, if you don`t mind overpaying and are in a rush, it works. But, you would be better off eating from somewhere else north or south of them on Route 7.

I had a work assignment for a few weeks around this area. There was very lil choices for food. Thank god for this place. EVERYTHING I ordered here was great. This is the only place I ate thee entire time! Cali wrap, gyro, and quesadilla were like seriously delicious. I'm sad I can't eat here anymore lol . They have a ton of great options but I couldn't stop eating those picks. MY ONLY COMPLAINT AND IT ANNOYED ME.... so I told y'all how I ordered the same s%*# over and over right ? It would literally be a different price every time I went (with no price change on menu). She made up a number in her head every time, sometimes a dollar more sometimes three. Who does that?! What if I came with exact change idk def weird. But it tastes great. Heads up: around lunch it gets crazy busy! Line to the door busy!

The team at the Sand Wedge was super helpful in a catering order for a local on very short notice. Wendy was super helpful and accommodating in customizing a menu and delivering it same day. Thank you very much for the great experience!

Still coming here and still loving their honeyslide sandwich. I wish they were open a bit later as I sometimes drive by after 4 but that's the only downside.

I come here all the time and this place is great. There's another location way down on route 7 and after going there once it made me appreciate this location even more. The food is great and everyone who works there is friendly, quick, and great at their jobs. They keep that place running like clockwork. Also their salads are the best around!

Ive become accustomed to grabbing my lunches here when I work in Georgetown. The staff are courteous, despite always appearing to be inundated. Go with the hot sandwiches here, the cold cuts are a fair to midland brand. Prices are a tad high but the quality is good enough to keep me coming back.

This is a simple sandwich place with very limited seating. The sandwiches are creative and quite good, and the waits are short. It's on our short list for a quick bite to eat. If you go to Subway next door... you are an idiot.

Good deli with an array of quality sandwiches. My personal favorite is the Westonwich. Get it on a wedge.

Sand Wedge gets the gold star today. Not only is their food always delicious, but they dropped what they were doing to help change a flat tire today. Refused a tip, as I knew they would. In the world we live in today.. acts of kindness are rare. Restored my faith in humanity.

I go to the newer location in Norwalk more often, but I came here before that one opened. This one was also recently renovated, much bigger than before. The food is great, a ton of sandwich options here, you'll want to try them all!! The crunch is amazing, tuna with chips inside the sandwich! Milano is also great, ask for marinara on the side. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.

I live in Los Angeles but every time I visit the area the first place I want to eat is always Sand Wedge. The menu is extensive, including everything from your basic BLT to more creative options like the "Cali Chicken" where the combination of chipotle mayo and avocado really hits the spot. My favorite is the "honeyslide", an excellent twist on the classic turkey-bacon sandwich. They have a really good system that helps to move the line along quickly, you don't stand around waiting for your sandwich. Not sure of her name but the lady who works the cash register is always lovely. Sand Wedge is definitely a must if you're in the area and craving a sandwich.

Great place! Really friendly staff, the Marvin is my favorite sandwich of all time. Just wish they had longer hours.

Good breakfast sandwiches/omlettes. They are fast and friendly, and their food is delicious! We've also had them cater a corporate lunches which was also very good.

Great deli with delicious and creative combo sandwiches. I have also used them for catering. Always friendly. I have business associates who come up every year from Atlanta and always ask to pick up our working lunch at the Sand Wedge.

Went in on a whim, had the chicken burrito. It tasted pretty good, however, 7 hours later had explosive diarrhea. None b4 or after. Maybe I should have stayed away from the hot food. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

Walked in and asked for my usual BEC with their delicious frozen hash brown square. Every time I go the price is different for the same thing. This time was no different. A breakfast sandwich and coffee for 8 dollars. So I politely mentioned this to the Latino man at the register...his reply was "Next time go to Dunkin Donuts". It took every ounce of my energy not to bounce his head off the countertop. Never again, or I'll be writing these from jail.

Excellent for lunch. Always with specials, but they will make any requested sandwich or basic dish. Not elegant, but a great place for take out or a quick bite in the front of the place.

Love this place for a quick bite. The staff is all business with very little turnover. They make fresh sandwiches quickly to get us out the door. I love the Philly Cheesesteak and the Cabo. And you gotta love a sandwich named "The Don". They know their frequent customers. It was renovated about 2 years ago and there's now more seating and a much better customer flow in the store.

They just catered our daughter's wedding- best food amazing people and we can't think it could have been any better. It rained and they were all so cheerful.Salmon, jerk steak cooked at our home.All the passed HD were insane. It was perfect.

This place is amazing. The sandwiches are creative and absolutley delicious. I will never go to subway again. Also, Sandwedge has the larger drink selection around, with cheap prices. Balboa, marvin, and old# 7 are highly reccomended. Trust me, Sandwedge is the place to be.

This place has the best philly cheese steak I've ever had outside of Philadelphia. They are extremely friendly and very quick at the same time. There's a huge selection of drinks and chips as well. I'd also highly recommend the Cluck'n Russian.

This place is a hidden gem. The sandwich menu has just about anything you could ever think of ordering, and then some. Hot foods are very tasty as well, great place to cater from. Drink selection is one of the best I've seen. Yummy desserts and very friendly staff. Overall, great experience!
