Sandali Metekhi By Old Tbilisi Hospitality

Everything was perfect! We stayed at Sandali Metekhi Hotel when we first arrived in Tbilisi and had an amazing experience. Since we came much earlier than our check in time, the staff kindly let us stay in room 501 for a few hours (for half price), and the view from there was absolutely breathtaking! When it was time for our check in, we moved to our glass room (103) and the balcony had a glass floor where you could see the river view underneath, which was such a unique and unforgettable experience. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They even gave us a free bottle of Georgian wine, such a lovely gesture! We don’t drink, so we didn’t open it, but we really appreciated the thought and beautiful presentation. If you want a wide view of the horizon, I recommend choosing one of the upper level rooms. But if you’re looking for a glass balcony and a ground floor experience, room 103 is the best choice! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tbilisi, it’s beautiful, comfortable, and truly memorable! ✨

The hotel is fantastic for many things. The location is perfect you need just a little stroll to get to the The old town and all the attractions and the view from the rooftop it's spectacular. The hotel is very clean and they have a good breakfast. Also the staff is very friendly. I would suggest everyone to book there.

Wonderful hotel ! Centrally located within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and attractions. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff had the rooms cleaned to perfection every day. The breakfast buffet while small was delicious and everything was fresh. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall pleasant stay, so many positives but also some negatives. I’ll start with the positives:|- staff is great, always willing to help, all spoke good English|- breakfast is superb, so many choices and an a là carte menu, all included, always clean and available 8-11am|- views over the Kura river and Tbilisi are great, if you have a room with a view|- price is good, location is ok if you don’t mind walking up and down steep cobbled streets|- cleaning was good, room was cleaned well every day||Negatives|- room was tiny, bathroom you could not even swing a cat in there|- bed was not the most comfortable|- not the hotel’s fault, but it’s supposed to be non smoking and we obviously had a smoker in the room next to us. it took multiple complaints to rectify the situation|- toilet paper seemed to be restricted|- balcony had zero privacy, we had balconies either side of us which were basically just divided by a decorative chain. It seemed like a shared balcony, this was disappointing|- although the river views were great, there’s a busy road running next to it, which was loud||Overall a pleasant stay, but market down to 4 starts due to the negatives listed above

"A warm welcome, to a clean and cozy room with a great view!" ✨ Next to the vibrant city center, is were we started our travel in Georgia. We received a warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel, and we could check in early to our room. The room itself was clean with all amenities included. There was good WiFi and a smart-TV. Merel liked the warm colors that were used to decorate the room, very cozy! This kindness we also noticed at breakfast. When we entered the restaurant, we immediately got shown the diversity of food that was presented and got a menu where we could order some fresh prepared 'hot breakfast items'. We would recommend the Sunny side up eggs and the French Toast. After breakfast we ordered a bolt taxi and found out that they cannot turn in the street of the hotel, as it has a dead end. We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely new hotel. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Perfect central location – everything can be reached on foot. We would gladly come back again!

We stayed at this hotel for five nights during our last visit to Tbilisi and had a very positive experience. The room and bathroom were both in a good size. The bad was very comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and everything was very tasty. I especially want to highlight the hotel’s great location. It’s conveniently close to many of the city’s most popular attractions. Both the room and the entire hotel were spotlessly clean and the service was pleasant and friendly. Highly recommended for staying!

Truly the best Boutique experience you can get, I went with my friends we reserved 3 rooms from 3 different categories and every room was better than the other, every room has something unique and a nice touch to it, bathtub was amazing and view was unheard of, spacious balcony and a cozy room with great AC, bathroom and a full mini bar which is something you don’t see often in Tbilisi most 5 stars hotels have empty fridges in the rooms.
