Sandals Barbados

This resort is not the place to go for a good time. No kind of shows or entertainment planned for people to have a good time besides singing by the piano. The workers did not show good hospitality. Every request was met with a rebuttal. Very unprofessional. They told us several times they didn’t have anymore of s couple of different things like jerk chicken or Armaretta to make an Armaretta Sour drink. It was crazy. My whole faucet came off the wall in the tub. Restaurants closed at certain times to prepare for dinner. If you didn’t have a reservation for the good restaurants you most likely will be at the Pub. We literally had to make our own fun and entertainment. If you are looking for a fun and exciting good time Sandals Barbados is not it. We thought that we would receive an experience of a lifetime at a Sandals resort and this was not what all the hype was about. Let me say that Jack the host in the Pub, bar restaurant was the absolute best!

We traveled to Barbados for our honeymoon. We got a butler suite and ocean view room and we loved it. From arrival to check out was very smooth. Our butler Shamara was the absolute best. She went out of her way to make sure she accommodated everything we asked to make our stay that much more perfect. The place is absolutely gorgeous; the food is amazing and so were the people. We absolutely loved this resort!

Sandals Royal Barbados is amazing. You get to experience two Sandals resorts in one, by walking between the two. We had an amazing butler team in Kemar, Annaleah, and Krystle. They were amazing and very helpful. They went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable, had reservations to the places we wanted to eat, and kept our cooler stocked while at the pool or beach. They checked in several times a day to see if we needed anything and when we did they brought it in a timely manner. The food was amazing, but it was the amazing staff that makes Sandals what it is. I highly recommend Sandals Royal Barbados with the Butler Team of Kemar, Annaleah, and Krystle

We are members of the Sandals club so have stayed at more than one Sandals/Beaches resort. If this had been my first Sandal's resort, it would’ve likely been my last visit. The grounds were beautiful. The beds were hard as a rock and other then when Amanda was present as our housekeeper, we didn’t get housekeeping. Amanda was amazing though. The quality service we expect from Sandlas was just lacking. The servers at the main pool bar wouldn’t serve the pool side and told guests they had to serve the out of pool side as a priority. Even when you were being served a drink, the staff made it clear they were not happy in their jobs. No smiles or friendliness. There were two great bartenders in the piano bar at night, Zadyn and Nakeem. They had the whole place happy and laughing. They stuck out like shining stars in a resort with poor service. They bent over backwards to serve everyone with a smile. The hibachi chef we had was very good. The French and Indian restaurants were great. Steer away from the main steakhouse - toughest prime rib ever! I do have to say the diving was quite good at this resort! The dive staff were knowledgeable and a lot of fun

Our 3rd time to Sandals Barbados, like to stay on this side of resort for room views. Had great time even though hurricane season, rains on and off. Food is great, Butch’s one of our favorite restaurants. Any issues while on resort go through the Gina app, they respond and act right away to help you. We also want to recognize one of the employees who went above and beyond, Ingrid Robinson was working in Butchs one night, my husband wasn’t feeling well, he’s disabled and she walked him all the way back to his room and made sure he got into the room, such a caring person. She also offered to send his meal up to the room. We met several employees that were very helpful and sincere. Larkan near main pool assisted my husband when he cut his foot, no need to call nurse he bandaged him up and when he saw him the next day asked how he was doing. GM and Resort manager has good staff working for them. You will enjoy your stay.

Great resort, staff, food and facilities! Stayed for 5 nights at the Sandals Barbados to celebrate a birthday. The resort was not crowded and we were able to enjoy the beach and pools. The room had a great view of the ocean and pool. A shout out to Richardo (the shuttle driver) and Tasha and Jasmina (who provided butler service for our cabana and a birthday dessert). Sandals Barbados and Royal Barbados function as a single property, so we enjoyed the restaurants, pools, and entertainment at both resorts. Some specifics: 1) the Barbados property had better food options during the day, 2) the roof top pool on the Royal Barbados property has a wonderful view and upscale bar with premium liquors that are not available at other bars, 3) the French restaurant is a great breakfast spot with excellent food and 4) the spa was great, too. We wish the Infinity Pool had a swim-up bar and that all bars had the same premium liquor choices. This was our third visit to a Sandals resort and we have always had a great experience.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we enjoyed every minute. It was so relaxing and I couldn’t fault it in any way. The staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful. |Our room was fantastic. Very clean and spacious and just as important - plenty of storage! We loved the serenity tub on the balcony. |The pools were fantastic, though we didn’t use every one lol. Our favourites were the pool near the jerk shack and the rooftop pool (got a great breeze up there when it was too hot elsewhere). |We had a meal on the beach to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and were left a lovely card and drinks in our room. |The restaurants were great - plenty of choice and some of which we visited repeatedly. Our favourite was the American diner for breakfast - all the staff were friendly and efficient even when it was very busy. And our favourite lunch/dinner restaurant was Neptunes. Purely for the view! Being open air and right at the beach was lovely. The food and service were great also but we found that was the case everywhere! |We would certainly recommend and hopefully will return someday! |Tips - take strong towel pegs and a cool drinks bottle which you can fill with oven almost anywhere.

We had to return to this marvelous place of refine hospitality, sumptuous dining, well made beverages (to include the best healthy smoothies at The Greens)!! We were more than pleased and plan to return for a longer stay.
