Sandals Montego Bay

My husband wand I spend 5 wonderful days at Sandals Mobay. The location was convenient to airport and to local venues. The atmosphere was refreshing. The staff was welcoming and caring. |Our suite was breathtaking as we were overlooking the sea. Gorgeous view, we had everything we needed and more. The service was impeccable all throughout the Resort. Loved every moment of being there. We will definitely be back.

Sandals Montego Bay is a dream! Absolutely a paradise! Just came back from our 2nd trip there and can't wait to go back again. Resort is immaculate, so clean. The food is very good and plentiful and the drinks are so fun. Many great excursions to choose from and the entertainment staff is amazing! Tasha and Davia are such amazing singers and dancers! Amazing women!! So talented!! I can't say enough. Good things about Sandals Montego Bay! Definitely recommend!

The experiences we encountered during this trip was so ridiculous I would never step foot in Jamaica. I was so excited to finally experience Sandals since it was highly recommended. From start to finish the staff was HORRIBLE. We were ignored to the point when we asked for help or service at the pool we got big attitudes. One of the staff members told us “ we could get our own drinks “ even though she was going around being friendly and attending to everyone else. We were so turned off by the aggressive remarks that we didn’t ask for nothing. One of the members of the trip wanted to speak to a manager about the service we have been experiencing all weekend , that was a joke, her attitude was worse than her staff. We have been so polite and tried to just wing it but even to the last minute when getting on the bus to go back home from the resort one of the men, don’t recall his name had hazel eyes was putting us on the bus and checking us off loudly said Get on the bus let’s go. He said it so loudly I was so shocked. He seem annoyed and was so aggressive. The only staff member that was nice was a man named Ian and the bartender towards the end she felt so bad for us cause she was the only one that we would try and look for to ask for help. We gave her all the tips we could because it was a breath of fresh air to get a nice person in that place.

We had the best time at Sandals in Montego Bay. This was our 8th Sandals and while they all are different, we've enjoyed them all. Montego Bay really exceeded our expectations. The grounds, rooms, restaurants, entertainment and staff were all excellent. The beach was very clean and maintained and the water as clear as pool water. The employees were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Shania, Lady J and Davia in entertainment were amazing! Christopher in the service department greeted us each morning at breakfast and couldn't have been more friendly. Renauldo at Butches, Anthony and Jermaine at Cucina Romana and all the other servers were wonderful. The resort is very close to the airport so you do hear and see the planes but that did not bother us at all. Being so close also makes the transport to and from the airport very short, which is nice. We want to make it to all of the different Sandals resorts but I definitely want to return to this one!

I will start with negative. Humidity is off the charts. Beds could be softer. Need more trash cans setup. Now positives. Entertainment was off the charts. One name we remember is Super Mario he was incredible. Made you feel welcome and appreciated. To the gal that did omelettes she called me Santa Clause she was great. To the lady that did the pastry, coffee shop she was great. All front desk ladies very helpful. Candle light dinner for our 50th anniversary was memorable. Blue Mountain Coffee on my can’t say enough.

First Impressions|The resort had a welcoming vibe from the start, and everything felt well-organized and relaxed.||The Room & Facilities|The facilities were excellent — clean, well-maintained, and perfectly set up for both relaxation and fun. The beach was absolutely lovely, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the views.||Entertainment & Activities|The entertainment department really stood out. They were incredibly friendly and made every activity enjoyable. I especially had a lot of fun joining in on volleyball games during the day. The nighttime entertainment was also very impressive — talented performers and a great atmosphere each evening.||Food & Dining|There were plenty of food options available, offering good variety and something for everyone, which made meals another highlight of the stay.||Staff & Service|A special thanks goes to Akeem from entertainment, who was especially friendly and went out of his way to make the trip even better. Staff like him truly make the experience memorable and without the entertainment team the trip wouldn’t be the same. The entertainment manager Yahshawn was absolutely incredible as well at his job and with his team. Shout out to them ||Overall|Between the beach, food, activities, and entertainment, I had a fantastic stay and would happily return. This resort is perfect for anyone looking for great facilities, plenty of fun, and genuinely warm service.

I came out to this resort purely for my moms wedding but could not have been more amazed!! Almost everyone is so polite and kind. They'll greet you in the halls if you pass by and none of my requests felt like it was a bother because of their demeanor. The drinks are also amazing! We went to the swim up bar 2 nights in a row because our bartender Dane was amazing!! In all the service and excursions were amazing and I hope i get to come back some day!

This was first trip to a Sandals resort. We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. I especially loved the entertainment each night. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did, so that is something I will definitely look for in future travel resorts. The staff members were very courteous, helpful, and polite. We did appreciate the variety of restaurants at the resorts as well. I do wish there were more menu options for in-room dining for the times we just wanted to relax in our room and not go out to a restaurant. There was construction going on in a lot next to the resort (next to our building) that was bothersome at some times. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and the amenities that the resort had to offer. We will definitely be back for future Sandals vacations.
