Sandals Negril

This was our first visit to Jamaica and our first all inclusive experience. Having paid what I felt was a lot of money for the 4 day break, Sandals had a lot to live up to. ||But they delivered! Incredible location…I upgraded to a beach view room and that was worth every penny…. Watching the sunsets every night was an absolute delight. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Facilities were maintained to an extremely high standards. The pools, beach, gardens, sunbeds, restaurants were immaculate. The staff, with only 1 or 2 exceptions, were friendly, fun, and professional. The water sports team were excellent. Kimonos and Barefoot restaurant offer unique experiences. Walking along 7 mile beach is a joy. ||Sandals Negril is not perfect (the food is good hotel standard only without being special), but it is close. If you want a relaxed, high quality, beach based, safe holiday in Negril, look no further. ||

Loved all the nightly entertainment. Compared to all the other places we’ve been to the live singing and dancing here is the best. Loved chatting with Ruth, King James and Lushon from the entertainment team. The vocalist skyee has an amazing voice. The food at Kimonos was really good. The bartenders Tyrese and Fiona were really friendly. Loved the whole experience.

We just returned from a wonderful week at Sandals Negril. Our room was beautiful and overlooked the beach. Lots of restaurants to choose from and bars to grab a delicious tropical drink from. We enjoy meeting staff and learning about the culture on Jamaica. The bartenders are fantastic! Sasha Gaye at the front bar was great, makes a great drink, made us feel at home and happy to share tidbits about life on the island. Melissa Winters was wonderful as well. She and Trevalyn worked hard at their “office” La Perla, mixing up delicious cocktails. We felt that all of the employees were hard working and very friendly. The restaurants were good, especially liked Brava and Barefoot on the Beach. Lots of water sports and other activities to take part in. We will definitely be back!

We returned to this resort for the 3rd time, the 6 or 7th time at the beautiful 7 mile beach in Negril because it is so impressive. ||||The staff are so warm and welcoming, friendly and helpful. ||Specifically: Terri-Lynn & Tayeha were very helpful when our wifi was not working in our room. (A cable was accidentally cut, likely by the groundskeepers who did an incredible job of keeping the gardens so beautiful!).  They resolved the problem within less than one hour.||« King » James was a charming and sweet and funny entertainer who is also a talented dancer.||Skye is a wonderful singer (truly fantastic voice) and a wonderful person to talk with.  ||Lush is very kind and friendly, and an amazing dancer||Brianna is so full of positive energy, and a real positive addition to our experience.  AND such an amazing dancer!||The entire dance team was fantastic (Ashley)||||Our butlers (Shanice and Romaine) were very helpful and attentive without being imposing.  Recommend! Having beach loungers, a cooler filled with our fav bevies & booking dinner reservations alone are the reasons to have butlers. ||||The gym is excellent with top and well maintained machines and free weights. Included yoga mats, water, towels & could only be improved by having sign to ask patrons to wipe off the things they use, and ||Making the cleaning wipes more obvious.

We stayed at Sandals Negril at the end of Feb 2025. Everything was fabulous. Our room was a Paradise Beachfront Walkout. We loved waking up in the morning and having coffee on the patio. The staff is amazing. Our favorite staff member was Annika at Bayside. Stay here...you won't be disappointed!

Stayed Feb 27 to March 6. Our second time to sandals Negril. Service was quite good. Butler staff was great. Shout out to relief butler Carl who filled in one day for our regular butler. He was great as were our regulars Kenrick and Wadea. I was disappointed with the section of beach in front of our room. We stayed in the sundowner building. It rained one night and several places on the beach had places where the sand washed out due too surface water drainage pipes buried on the beach. The pipes were actually sticking out of the sand. I understand how this could happen. I don’t understand why there was no effort to repair it. When I spend the money it takes to stay at a Sandals resort I expect the best. Beach loungers were used to keep people away from these areas of the beach. Other than that the staff was great as always Very friendly and accommodating. More food option would be nice and nightly entertainment could have been better

We had a great time here the food and drink is amazing we love the main pool it bring the vibes all the time ..shout out to the sundowner we love there food. The entertainment team is top notch .shout out to Jodvian aka king James he remember all of my friends names and faces he is phenomenal. briana aka lady bleu is amazing her vibes is top tier .we would definitely come back here ..

The gourmet food was excellent. The staff was great and the beaches were beautiful. The paths of travel and accessibility around the resort needs improvement. The toilet paper was poor quality for a 5 star resort. We also got flea bites from sand fleas on the beach while we were there. All in all, we thought the resort is more a 4.5 star rather than a 5 star resort.
