My husband and I just returned from a week-long stay at Sandals Royal Plantation, and "5-star experience" doesn't even begin to cover it. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the entire team was genuinely invested in ensuring we had the most relaxing vacation possible in this tropical paradise. A few specific people made our stay truly unforgettable: * Omar (General Manager): We were blown away by how present Omar is. He seemed to be everywhere, greeting us by name and making us feel more like family than just guests. His leadership clearly sets the tone for the resort’s warm atmosphere. * Gladstone and Sheril (Butlers): These two are absolute professionals. They went above and beyond to anticipate and meet every single one of our needs, allowing us to truly let go of any stress. * Sequoia (Sales): Sequoia is hands-down the friendliest person we met. She made planning our next visits feel effortless and exciting—we already can’t wait to come back. * Kimmy (Bartender): A huge shoutout to Kimmy, who crafted the best Old Fashioneds we’ve ever had! If you are looking for a place where you are treated with genuine care and luxury, this is it. We left feeling completely rejuvenated.

We have just returned from our stay at Sandals Royal Plantation, and while I know feedback often focuses on what goes wrong, I wanted to start the New Year on a positive note—because this experience deserves to be celebrated. Our stay was absolutely exceptional and exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the very beginning, Omar and Tamara set the tone with outstanding service. They ensured everything was perfectly prepared in our villa prior to our arrival—and it truly was. That level of care immediately made us feel welcomed and valued. During our stay, our butlers, Delgado Garden and Keanio Gaynor, were simply the best of the best. From start to finish, they anticipated our preferences without ever needing to ask—everything we enjoyed was always thoughtfully waiting for us. This was true luxury at its finest. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made our stay incredibly special, and we cannot thank them enough. Our housekeeper, Shanique, was always smiling and such a pleasure to see each day. The villa was impeccably cleaned and cared for, with special touches that never went unnoticed. Chef Martin prepared a private dinner for us that we will remember forever. The food was absolutely delicious, and you could truly feel the passion behind every dish. It’s clear that he genuinely loves what he does—thank you for such an unforgettable evening 😊 And Omar—there is truly no General Manager like him. Every single day he greeted us by name and remained actively present throughout the property. His leadership is clearly reflected in the team’s performance and happiness. Even other guests commented on how impressive it was that he knew everyone by name. That kind of leadership is rare and truly first-class in every sense.

It's not the building, views, or even the food that keep us coming back. We just completed our sixth stay here over the past 15 years and some of the same employees are still there. Getting to know the staff is truly the best part. The managers, Omar and Marvin, are running this place as if it was their own home. Always checking on guests by name, checking the food, and really caring about the experience. You will certainly find prettier rooms with fancy bathrooms all over the Caribbean, but you'll never find better hospitality and personalized service. If you want anything all, just ask. They'll do it! Special lunch? Unique drink? Just ask! They even provided coffee beans in my room so I could grind my own coffee. Those little touches make all the difference in the world.

My spouse and I recently returned for a stay at the Sandals Royal Plantation. This resort is such an incredible place to rest & relax. It’s a boutique-style experience that we love! The service here is exceptional! Every team member we encountered was kind, attentive, & genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. The service feels like it comes straight from the heart. A special thank you to General Manager Omar Robinson. It's not every day you meet a GM who takes the time to greet guests by name. You will feel seen & valued during your stay! That personal touch adds so much to the experience, & is a big part of why we keep coming back. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect to reconnect, this is the place! We look forward to returning.

We’ve been to various sandals and SRP is by far our favorite. The entire staff is wonderful and friendly. You feel so welcomed! I believe it all starts with Omar the GM who I cannot say enough about. The fact he knows every guest by name is amazing! He walks around and is present even made ice popsicles 😁 as I told him he should make them and did not disappoint. Our butlers, Duwainey and Richard are out of this world with class and we call them our friend!!! Another individual I want to mention is Simone who gave so much of herself not only to us but to all the guests. This is our second visit to SRP and looking forward to our next visit August 2026.

Our first visit and definitely not our last. Tamara and Carlos are phenomenal butlers! Could not ask for better. All the restaurants were exquisite and food was amazing. Water sports crew very helpful and efficient. All staff were always smiling and pleasant. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful place, this is it. PS - make sure to sign up for the Club Mobay departure lounge.

My recent email and review to the GM at Royal Plantation: Good Morning Omar! Tim and I arrived home safely yesterday evening with all of our art carvings intact! I apologize in advance for the length of this email but I would be remiss in not giving a shout out to you and your staff....... I am not sure where to begin to thank you and your amazing staff for probably our best vacation ever. Your energy is palpable and it reflects in each and every staff member we encountered throughout the week. I hope they all know how appreciated each and every one of them are to us. I am sure I will miss some names here but I'd like to give a shout out to those we have known over the years and those that we met for the first time this year. They are all special people and each one went out of their way to make this trip special for us. I start with Andre and Johovan. They are nothing short of amazing. We consider them friends and family. Their attention to detail, their spirit, all of the special touches throughout our stay were just wonderful. I can't imagine a vacation there without them. Sherril holds a very special place in our hearts. She was one of our very first butlers in 2014 and her infectious laugh and spirit continue to warm our hearts. Even though we were not her guests, she took time for us to catch up and reminisce over the past and it was lovely. In 2023 we met dear Vanya at The Terrace and we were thrilled to see her again this year. She has the most wonderful warm smile. We were also blessed to see Tiana and Stephne and we met Sherika for the first time and enjoyed her lovely personality at The Terrace and The Grill. We also met Sheena, Giovanni and Romaine for the first time at dinner and they were so warm and engaging. In 2023 we also met dear Chevon (Chevy) up in La Papillon. He holds a corner of our hearts and we were thrilled to reconnect with him again this year. He brings pure joy to everything he does. To Chef Martin and Chef Vinroy, we cannot thank them enough for the wonderful food they produced each and every day and the special lobster dishes (yum!) and of course our private meal on our balcony. They are simply spectacular! A huge shout out goes to Daniello, Trevardo and Romaine down at the beach. We have known them for many years and they are fantastic beach butlers. They made our time down on the beach so much fun. They are all three wonderful individuals and work so very hard. Of course there is the Wobbly Peacock. It was wonderful to reconnect with Tressel. She makes the #1 espresso martini I have ever had anywhere! There of course was also Garnet, Junior and Jlee. All of them were so much fun! At the spa, Dianna was fantastic and it was a pleasure spending some time with Trecia, the head of the spa. To Marvin.... he was and has always been a great person to have conversation with and his love for what he does clearly shows in everything he touches. I huge shout out to our room attendant, Nariesha. She was always so polite and clearly cared greatly for her job as she had amazing attention to detail throughout our stay. I hope we can have her again in 2026! There are also all of the beach attendants who took care of the beach each day. I wish I had their names. I would watch them prepare the beach each morning and it was just amazing what great care they took to make the beach ready for everyone every morning. Finally, many thanks to Sequoia for showing us a couple of new room options and helping me to book our next three stays at Royal Plantation .
