My wife and I are deeply grateful for the exceptional experience we enjoyed at Sandals Plantation. While every aspect of our stay was remarkable, it was the warmth and professionalism of your entire team that made our anniversary celebration truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine care by your front desk team—Safiyalee, Jonoi, and LuckieAnn—who set the tone for our entire visit. The attentive service continued throughout our stay, particularly at the Terrace restaurant, where Vanyam, StayAnn, and Shrika made our meal a pleasure. We owe special thanks to our personal butlers, Marvin and Bebeato, who went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary celebration exceeded our expectations. The candlelight dinner at the pier, expertly served by Lashanna, stands out as one of the most romantic and memorable moments of our trip. We also want to recognize Shana Kay, Trecia, and Doneil for their consistent willingness to assist us with every need, always with a smile and genuine enthusiasm. The professionalism displayed by your entire team clearly reflects the outstanding leadership of Marvin Boyd and Omar Robinson. Despite their busy schedules managing the property, both took the time to personally ensure our happiness and satisfaction—a gesture we deeply appreciated. We stayed for the first time in January 2026. It’s an 5 star, all inclusive, butler service resort. All rooms are suites. It’s a small adults only quiet resort. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, staff are very attentive and you want for nothing. It is very quiet in the evening which we like, you can use the bus service to go to the larger resort if you want more nightlife or restaurants. Highly recommended if you like to be pampered and like peace and quiet. If you like to party probably not for you.

If you're looking for top-tier service and a tranquil getaway, this is the place for you. We had an amazing stay at Royal Plantation's boutique style hotel. The service was phenomenal and the staff at this resort went over and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during our stay. You feel like family when you stay here. We stayed here for our anniversary and they really made us feel special. We have stayed here several times and continue to come back. The food here is delicious with plenty of options, and the setting was romantic, peaceful, and relaxing. Also, if you have any food allergies or dietary needs they cater to your needs and request. Onsite they have tennis, pickleball, snorkel trips, glass bottom boat rides, kayaks, Hobi cat catamaran you can use or have someone take you out on one. Special thanks to the staff members from Neil and Chase our butlers, to Tiffany, Garth, Camille, Rhona, and others in the Spa. Also, the amazing waitstaff at all the restaurants and special shout out to Sherika, Vanya, Stefanie, and many others. Thanks to David and other chefs for spicing things up for my husbands morning breakfast meals. He enjoys the spicy food. Then Garnet and Junior in the Wobbly peacock there to make the perfect drinks for all. Special thanks To the entertainment group, housekeepers, the grounds keepers, management, travel and loyalty, gift shop staff and more. Also, thank you to Omar and Marvin for the amazing staff here. Perfect trip from travel from airport OCJ to check-in process all the way through to check out and travel to MBJ. Highly recommend this resort.

My husband and I just returned from a week-long stay at Sandals Royal Plantation, and "5-star experience" doesn't even begin to cover it. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the entire team was genuinely invested in ensuring we had the most relaxing vacation possible in this tropical paradise. A few specific people made our stay truly unforgettable: * Omar (General Manager): We were blown away by how present Omar is. He seemed to be everywhere, greeting us by name and making us feel more like family than just guests. His leadership clearly sets the tone for the resort’s warm atmosphere. * Gladstone and Sheril (Butlers): These two are absolute professionals. They went above and beyond to anticipate and meet every single one of our needs, allowing us to truly let go of any stress. * Sequoia (Sales): Sequoia is hands-down the friendliest person we met. She made planning our next visits feel effortless and exciting—we already can’t wait to come back. * Kimmy (Bartender): A huge shoutout to Kimmy, who crafted the best Old Fashioneds we’ve ever had! If you are looking for a place where you are treated with genuine care and luxury, this is it. We left feeling completely rejuvenated.

This intimate resort enhanced romantic experience. We celebrated our 45th anniversary. The service, food, ambiance and walkable room to beach made for an enjoyable getaway (4 nights). The butlers were an amazing & delightful bonus. We had rose pedals leading to our warm bubble bath; just awesome!

My wife and I got engaged at the Royal Plantation 20 years ago. It was wonderful then and has never disappointed us on the 3 stays since then. The latest was during December 2025. We felt constantly pampered. Although the fact that there are only 73 rooms all overlooking the beautiful beach, excellent restaurants, the real reason this resort sets itself apart from the rest is the staff. First Omar and Marvin (General Manager/Operations Manager) set the tone. They were constantly present greeting guests but also pitching in to help clear dishes and serving food and drinks. Our butlers (Ricky and Bigs) were not only very attentive but also great guys who were more friends than servers. Some additional employees we would like to recognize are Jlee, Chevy, Stephanie, Kimmy and Tresell. They were all constantly present with beautiful smiles and eager to serve us what ever we wanted. Garnet AKA Crocodile was a wonderful bartender remembering our names (and favorite drinks) every time we saw him. We can't forget Sequoia who helped us rebook our trip next year.. Not only was she incredible pleasant to talk to but also extremely knowledgeable about how to make our next trip to Royal Plantation the best. Dear Omar and Marvin, what an enjoyable trip this was. The grounds looked amazing even after the hurricane and the updated rooms are nice too. We love coming to RP and it is for a few particular reasons. The beauty of the resort itself and the people who make our stay so special. It’s hard to name everyone as I haven’t yet figured out my own system as the two of you have. Your ability to recall each of your guests is amazing and what makes this resort unique. Thank you for the intention and time that goes into that task. Here is a list of shout outs for the week, and I know I will forget some people so I’ll apologize in advance. There is no particular order to my list but I’ll start with Chase, Neil and Rhona, Garnet, Trevardo, Romane and Daniello. These seven people are magnificent at their jobs in their own special ways and for me what they do is build relationships and make personal connections that contribute to guests feeling safe, cared for and loved. They are the faces of “One Love.” They reach guests souls with thier humanity. This year and every year I wonder what I’d do if they weren’t here. I am so glad they were. Next I want to recognize the loyalty staff beginning with Sequoia. She is a kind hearted woman and excellent at her job and Horatio and Mahesh were very helpful to us as well. Mahesh helped us with understanding our free stay, which we haven’t booked yet, but he guided us in order to know what to do. Horatio has been very kind as well. We are booked for another stay and are already counting the days till next year. Now for all the staff that we have “touch points” with, forgive me if I don’t give specifics, my mind is a little slow on recall these days and I am going to mess up spelling as well. My apologies. We’ve been to a couple sandals resorts and all are fantastic. The personalized service here specifically though is truly above and beyond. To make a long story short, my pregnant wife had a medical issue and we had to go to a local hospital. The general manager, Omar Robinson, heard and left the resort at almost 10 pm and came to the hospital with us and stayed until we left. I was truly speechless at how much sandals, and Omar specifically, genuinely cared about our well-being and experience. I cannot express how grateful I am to Omar specifically, and then Sandals as a whole. Sandals gained a customer for life.
