We have just returned from our stay at Sandals Royal Plantation, and while I know feedback often focuses on what goes wrong, I wanted to start the New Year on a positive note—because this experience deserves to be celebrated.
Our stay was absolutely exceptional and exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the very beginning, Omar and Tamara set the tone with outstanding service. They ensured everything was perfectly prepared in our villa prior to our arrival—and it truly was. That level of care immediately made us feel welcomed and valued.
During our stay, our butlers, Delgado Garden and Keanio Gaynor, were simply the best of the best. From start to finish, they anticipated our preferences without ever needing to ask—everything we enjoyed was always thoughtfully waiting for us. This was true luxury at its finest. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made our stay incredibly special, and we cannot thank them enough.
Our housekeeper, Shanique, was always smiling and such a pleasure to see each day. The villa was impeccably cleaned and cared for, with special touches that never went unnoticed.
Chef Martin prepared a private dinner for us that we will remember forever. The food was absolutely delicious, and you could truly feel the passion behind every dish. It’s clear that he genuinely loves what he does—thank you for such an unforgettable evening 😊
And Omar—there is truly no General Manager like him. Every single day he greeted us by name and remained actively present throughout the property. His leadership is clearly reflected in the team’s performance and happiness. Even other guests commented on how impressive it was that he knew everyone by name. That kind of leadership is rare and truly first-class in every sense.
