"Beachy, bohemian Bali has long been regarded as a chilled-out, artsy haven for spiritual surfers and modern day hippies—but even if you run with this crowd, you won’t have to rough it. Especially not at Sandat Glamping Tents: Set in terraced rice paddies only 10 minutes from central Ubud, this intimate sanctuary boasts private plunge pools, authentic Balinese cuisine, and the chicest tents and traditional lumbung cabins." - Nicole Trilivas

We Visited Bali at the end of August 2024 for a week and spent 3 nights at the Sandat Glamping resort. I almost cried when we left it we were so sad to leave. This a very special peaceful and beautiful place, the interior decoration right down to the plates and general decor of the rooms and restaurant were so unique, so much attention to detail. The owners are Italian and have a true eye for design using salvaged items found to create very interesting decor. The staff was very friendly and we loved the breakfast. We did not rent a car to get around because its too chaotic and finding parking a nightmare so we got around with taxis and for day trips hired a driver. We had two dinners, one night we ate Italian food (very good) and the other tried Indonesian dishes also great. The Sandat offers Yoga classes (those are not included) and we took advantage of that, the yoga studio is in front of a rice field and was incredibly beautiful. We would definitely stay again, but plan to stay at least 4-5 nights to really relax, we had planned some excursions so only spent a short time at the pool. There are some beautiful places to sit relax and read or simply contemplate life which sadly we barely had time to enjoy, I would have stayed two days at the resort without leaving just to decompress from our flight and enjoy the place and not explore bali, but this was a short trip. I Highly recommend staying here.

We spent 4 days here, in our tour of Bali and enjoyed the whole experience. We had a tent with a private pool and was the only chill water pool we experienced through the island. A real treat in the Balinese heat!|Tent had everything for a confortable stay. Listening to the birds, leaves and the tropical rain from your bed, was a real treat.|If you are a light sleeper, you may want to use ear plugs. |But the best thing of our stay was the team at the Sandat Glamping: from our arrival until we left, they were present and accommodated every of our needs. |We will definitely be back and try to also visit the Sandat Glamping Tents in Venice.

Our stay at the Sandat Glamping Tents was nothing short of extraordinary! The website and visitor photos do not exaggerate—the grounds, accommodations, and dining facilities are absolutely stunning. Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations, making it a truly unforgettable experience.||From the pristine room to the poolside massage and delectable dinner, every aspect was flawless. The special touches throughout our stay made us feel incredibly valued. The service was 5-star from start to finish, beginning with seamless pre-arrival communication, which included thoughtful tour setup and shuttle service, all the way through to dining and countless "white glove" moments.||Our five-night stay was exceptional in every way and an incredible value for the quality and service provided. A huge thank you to the entire staff for going above and beyond to make our visit so memorable.

I had the most amazing stay at this glamping spot in Bali! The entire experience was incredible—so relaxing and peaceful. The accommodation was immaculately clean, and I loved having a private pool and deck to unwind on. The homemade breakfasts every morning were a real treat, and the free shuttle into Ubud town center made it super convenient to explore. Honestly, I had the best sleep in a long time! If you're looking for a tranquil, unique getaway with all the comforts of home, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Recently stayed here for what was supposed to be 2 nights in the suite tent Penjor.. didnt quite pan out like that though… one small point to start off with is that the advert states that this tent has 360 degree views, it doesn’t. It has a view over the rice terrace to one side and of the pool. Trivial but true. ||The setting is delightful, don’t get me wrong. The staff were lovely and the food really good. After that and just before bed it all went pear-shaped. ||At 8pm it sounded like we were in the middle of a R&B concert with music belting out from a house across the way. We could hear every word of every song for over 2 hours. It genuinely sounded like it was outside our tent. We went to speak to reception as it was ridiculously loud. The guy looked at his watch and told us it would finish soon… how did he know we thought, does this happen regularly? We left the following day as didn’t want to find out… ||Not the Sandats fault but I don’t think this is first time and we didn’t want it to ruin our amazing experience of Bali.

This place has magical ambience. You feel immense connection with nature, you sleep and wake up to jungle sounds, breathe super fresh air, but still stay very cosy, protected, and super comfortable in this glamping. The experience is almost mystical. People and all the surroundings here has very good vibe. And breakfast is delicious!!!
