Sandbanks Estate Winery

It was a very nice experience finally visiting this estate. It's beautiful and you become a part of the operation where you can see the grapes being harvested and you can see them farming the grapes. We've wanted to come here since tasting the first bottle of Sandbanks years ago and it did not disappoint. Also a very beautiful space with very nice people. The grounds lawns and washrooms are all manicured so well waiting for your visit. Seating areas outside where you can have bites Al Fresco and sample some of their great wines. Definitely will visit again!

We had a great experience. Great selection for the tasting! Loved the late harvest dessert wine. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Was a lovely afternoon adventure!

September 2024 I have been here before and like everything about this place. A hugh selection of wines and the menu board is well organized. It details all of the wines (informative and educational) and for each wine, it is indicated whether or not it is sold at the LCBO, the Wine Rack, or only available at their winery. The staff are friendly, a hugh boutique, and a beautiful patio and grounds. Three samples cost $10. But what is different here is that if you buy 2+ bottles, you get a $10 refund.

First time to prince Edward's County and we had to visit this winery. It was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Tasting were 4 for $10 and if you bought wine the tasting fee would be discounted. They have a nice outside sitting area with tables and umbellas. Nice atmosphere. It is recommended to make reservations. Give them a try you will not be disappointed

This was our first time visiting. We were hoping for a more personal experience where the sommelier would explain the wines to us but after we chose our wines we were left alone. The wines were good and the ambience was nice but we probably won’t go back.

Went here last week of May and enjoyed the wine tastings. They have a very nice patio. The weather was pleasant and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We tried some of their winery exclusives and quite enjoyed Piquette, b17, noir, and Prosecco (favorite). Others were decent. Wine tours start in June.

The winery itself was gorgeous. Lots of space to sit outside and enjoy some wine and lounge. They have swings and other games and some toys for the kids. My only complaint was the fondue experience was a little over priced for what it was. It was cute but would have been nice if it came with a tasting or glass of wine that they paired with the fondue. The barrel room at the back of the property is cute and worth a visit!

We went here mid April therefore I’m sure there is lots more to offer come warmer weather. We loved our experience the lady who assisted us was very kind and knowledgeable. They have an array of snack options too (we choose the popcorn which was amazing). Overall great experience easy to walk in and get a wine tasting. Reasonable price.
