Sandbar at Jetties Beach Bar & Restaurant

I mean wow.!!🙏🙏😀😀 what a restaurant!!!🙂🙂🙂🤣🤣 atmosphere was impeccable and all the servers were so lovely🙏🙏👍👍🙏🙏🎉🎉 I was served by this fantastic youn woman by the name of Caroline. She was absolutely fantastic!!🙏🙏🎉🎉 I am from the Deep South and she made me feel at home for my first time on the island ever!!! The food was delicioso and so yum yum in my tum tum!!🦪🦪 We got some fantastic 1$ oysters and they were stunning. Caroline even had a I love oysters hat on!!! It was so ironic!!🙏🙏 I have been to quite a few beach restaurants and this takes the cake (or should I say oyster because of how good they were)!!! However, there was beautius young man that ran my food out to me and he was stunning. He was so precise. I wasn’t able to get his name but he was so efficient and even told us to enjoy🙏🙏😍😍 I think that it might be the most efficient kitchen on the entire island of Nantucket. Anywho I can’t recommend this glorious restaurant enough and I will absolutely be going back🙏🙏🙏👌👌👌🤣🤣😍😍😝😝🤩

What can you say about this place, it's just hands down awesome, so much fun being out on the beach and hanging out at a place like this. The bar staff where we sat was fantastic, they hustle but they take care of you. The music was great and once the live band kicked in it was even more awesome. The food is standard for New England pub Fair with playing a choices, it comes out fast and hot and you won't be disappointed. They have a whole selection of fresh and frozen cocktails to choose from, and a gift shop just to the side of the outdoor bar. On a hot summer day this is the place to chill out.

Fabulous & Groovy Beach Bar! The best in Nantucket we really like the atmosphere ¨! The food was great but it was the ambiance that really did it for us. The ladies at the reception desk where particularly welcoming ;) My family enjoyed this place the music is great and they also had a nice little in house shop. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come again !

Pictured is their grilled cheese with bacon. It was just a normal grilled cheese no complaints. However, we went there during a shift change. One individual with us got their alcoholic drink while the rest of us asked for water due to how hot it was. We then had to pay for our food before we even got it. Our food came out and still no water and our server had left. We finally got water from another server. Overall disappointed and will not come here again. Hopefully this isn’t the norm during shift changes.

Sand Bar is the ideal beachside hangout! After a day soaking up the sun nearby, it was the perfect spot to unwind. With its airy deck and the gentle sounds of the ocean in the background, the ambiance is refreshingly relaxed. Their New England seafood offerings were tempting, but we settled for their frozen cocktails – and they did not disappoint! Cool, refreshing, and expertly mixed. If you’re looking for that quintessential beach bar vibe with good drinks and a festive atmosphere, Sand Bar is a must-visit on the island. Cheers to beachside bliss!

If you are sucker for a beach restaurant right there on the sand with loud music and real summer vibes, that is your place!!!! This summer 2024, the food is good, the drinks are great, and the service is on point. My to go place after beach day !

Great food, drinks, and atmosphere! We rode our bikes here and were able to tie them up front. The blackened fish sandwich was probably the best I’ve ever had! The $1 oysters were phenomenal too. Lastly, our server was fantastic! Very happy with our visit here!

Sandbar is incredible! I first came here over the summer to hang out with a friend who lives on the island year-round and used to work at Sandbar. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! This past weekend, I was back on the island for that same friend’s wedding, and of course, we stopped by Sandbar on Sunday. Shoutout to our waitress Lily — she handled a large party with incredible efficiency — and Griff is the man! This place has officially become my go-to spot in Nantucket. Can’t wait to come back next summer!
