What’s New in the Hamptons for Summer 2023? The Restaurants, Hotels, and Stores to Know | Vogue

"Furniture e-retailer CB2 has opened The Sand Bar, a luxury French Riveria-inspired beach club at The Surf Lodge with white linen daybed, raffia chairs, and silver wine buckets. Put your toes in the sand while ordering a clam ceviche, swordfish brochette, or a mezze platter, best paired with a bottle of rosé—or two." - Elise Taylor

The location of this place is so beautiful. We had a suite that opened to the pool with a little courtyard, which was really convenient. We paid over $600 for a Monday night, which is normal at the height of summer. But for the price of the place, we were disappointed in the comfort of the bed and sheets. It was spacious, but The room was kind of dated. We went to dinner at the beach view restaurant with a group of ten plus a baby. The food was okay. Some of our party said their fries were cold. They didn’t put bacon on someone’s burger. The drinks were great. The poolside bar also had delicious frozen drinks. The complimentary breakfast was a disappointment. We waited over an hour to get our food, they didn’t give us syrup for the pancakes, and they never came to refill our water or coffee while we waited. I would Come back for the convenience of the location and the beautiful beach, but I would Definitely skip the breakfast and would rather walk into town for a great dinner.

The atmosphere is amazing. Best beach front bar in Montauk. The cocktails are delicious, the food is superb and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. This place is definitely a hidden gem and my new stomping ground. They also have live music Wednesday thru Sunday! Love it!

This place has amazing food, the decor is beautiful and it offers many amenities. Quite frankly, it has the perfect setting for a Disney mascot beach meet and greet theme. Very pleased with the service and the waiters and waitresses. Very kind people and respectful.

This place is such a gem. I saw it on my friends Instagram and we enjoyed the best mudslides over looking the ocean. We went back the following night for dinner and the food was excellent. I had the chowder and we split the scallops and roasted chicken entrees and they were both delicious. Will definitely be back. Super laid back environment.

Everything from the cocktails to the entrees was delicious. Clams were shucked perfectly, flavors were prominent in the sauces. Even the house made herb butter left you something to crave. Service was prompt and very friendly. You feel welcomed and appreciated.

Had dinner there Saturday night June 12th. My wife had the catch of the day and I had Linguine with clams. Appetizers were fluke crudo and a Capresse Platter that included Buffalo Mozzarella. All were excellent especially the Buffalo Mozzarella. The wine selection was small but excellent. The young lady who served us was exuberant and competent. There was a very large gathering outside, probably several hundred people so we were worried that the service would be terrible, especially from a brand new restaurant. The handled it wonderfully. We will be back next month when we are in Montauk. Good luck.
