Stunning location and fabulous food . Everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. Wish I lived there I would eat there every week. And on top of that a delightful French waitress. Loved it best meal I have had in months

Everything was absolutely great — from the cocktails to the chocolate mousse, not forgetting the breakfast and the cheese. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. The staff was very welcoming and kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! 😄

If you want something other than a pub feed in Yamba, then this restaurant is for you. Outstanding service in a quiet location with the added extra of a chef who will wow you with his individual take on fresh, local ingredients. There was something special about the prawn and crab roulade with caviar which my husband could not stop raving about (perfectly prefaced by the rib fillet cooked to perfection) But the true heros on tonight's menu were the Yamba prawns with prawn donuts and a sauce so delicious I'm glad I had a spoon handy to finish it off. The only negative was perhaps the prawn toast that was a little too oily for my liking but was quickly forgotten about once I cleansed my palate with a classic margarita, not on the menu but happily made up by the friendly staff. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. Can't wait for your summer menu!

Good moderately relaxed French food. This place really excel with their accompaniments. The sauce with the barramundi was rich and flavourful and the hand cut chips for the steak frites was perfection - making up for slightly well done steak and fish. The standout was the duck liver parfait.

Wow. What a gem! Sandbar delivers a cosy, welcoming vibe with an incredible menu full of French-inspired twists. Every dish we tried was spot on, we even came back a second night just to explore more of the menu, and then breakfast on the last day. The service was friendly and attentive - special thanks to Florian, who looked after us so well and made each visit feel special. Whether you’re after a relaxed morning bite or a special dinner, this place nails it. Highly recommend.

Food was the most delicious we have had for many many years: the pork croquettes and prawn donuts were exquisite and the steak was succulent and wonderfully presented. Wine was great; dessert superb. Compliments to the chef and staff who were wonderful on a very busy evening. Charline with her beautiful French accent added to the authenticity of the night. All the wait staff were attentive and friendly. A truly memorable meal and experience for us. Many thanks!!!!!!

We had Louise as our waitress. She was attentive and polite. We got to take our little Moodle too and they were very accommodating with us bringing him. Food was delicious!! Highly recommend. Prawn toast, prawn cocktail was delicious too as well as our mains!
