Sandbar Restaurant Yamba

Great location, food was absolutely amazing, such unexpected flavours, and consistency of flavours mixed well. The quantity was perfect and the quality of the produce was so fresh and delicious. The only downside side was the wait time to be seated, and served. A lot of people were in the same boat and some left annoyed. This came down to the inability for two workers to service the amount of people here while it was so very busy. They worked hard and fast but unfortunately it was sad to see people get fed up and leave missing out on the delightful treat for the tastebuds. The girls working were lovely, polite and apologetic, the wait times might have been a little damper on the experience but the professional way in which they dealt with the demand was top tier (maybe they need just one more person to greet and seat/ taking payments during peak time). Again the food was more than I could have expected, flavours outstanding. Thank you for the experience.

Sandbar never disappoints. The location is so good you can hear the waves on Main Beach, delicious food and lovely, attentive service. We had dinner again tonight and Elda made our night with her suggestions and warm service. If you are in Yamba and have the time - I can recommend you enjoy the hospitality of Sandbar.

Stunning location and fabulous food . Everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. Wish I lived there I would eat there every week. And on top of that a delightful French waitress. Loved it best meal I have had in months

Everything was absolutely great — from the cocktails to the chocolate mousse, not forgetting the breakfast and the cheese. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. The staff was very welcoming and kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! 😄

Elda was amazing – attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience extra special. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, and the food was excellent. My foie gras toast starter was just beautiful, and the kids’ banana ice cream sundae was an absolute treat. All of the staff were warm and welcoming, creating such a wonderful atmosphere. This restaurant is truly a place worth visiting – highly recommended!

Elda is so great! She made sure we were treated well the entire dining experience and she was open for a chat about her home in France. Food was one of the best meals I’ve ever had!

Wow. What a gem! Sandbar delivers a cosy, welcoming vibe with an incredible menu full of French-inspired twists. Every dish we tried was spot on, we even came back a second night just to explore more of the menu, and then breakfast on the last day. The service was friendly and attentive - special thanks to Florian, who looked after us so well and made each visit feel special. Whether you’re after a relaxed morning bite or a special dinner, this place nails it. Highly recommend.

We had such a great experience at Sandbars! The food was absolutely delicious – classic French dishes done perfectly, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is relaxed but still feels special, a really nice spot to enjoy a night out. A special mention to Elda, who looked after us so well.
